@ Op, what relationship exists between you and your husband? Does your husband trust your judgment? Are you a full time house wife? What's your qualification? All these are determinants in running the home as a woman.
As a woman, a wife at that, you are expected to be imposing. Instead of groaning silently, call the boy in the presence of hubby and narrate his excesses, tell him you won't tolerate such, and that if he want to continue living in the house, he must participate in house chores.
After that, do not be aggressive, do not be harsh. Be gentle and kind. Assign to him his duties in the house. do not sweep for him again. Engage him in house chores. Simple! Today's youths can be lazy and irresponsible. am a young man, working with an MSc. whenever I visit anybody, I play some roles. In my home, I sweep, I mop, I clean, I cook, before going to work every morning, I prepare my uncle's breakfast and I do it religiously, not being forced but responsibly and dutifully forced, not convenient but I can only appreciate my woman tomorrow with the little she does. I still remember when I was serving when my uncle's wife was bringing out dishes for me to wash. Loads of dishes I didn't even know when they were used but I did, knowing I have to be responsible even when my uncle wasn't paying my bills, I was disappointed that day because I just came visiting. She was wrong but I did it not giving any sign of unhappiness . it's about being responsible. As daughters are being trained so also should sons. How will they help wife tomorrow if they lazy away today. Woman, be in charge! Be generous, kind, and firm! |
Romance › Re: I Was Caught Having Sex At The Office -HELP by kingenry(m): 11:23am On Aug 03, 2016 |
MrFerrari: I created this monicker to hide my identity.
I am a political appointee working as an aide to my state Governor. My girlfriend came over to my office with her friend who just got posted for her NYSC and seeking for a PPA
I gave them a note to take to the ministry she said she wants but they came back telling me they were told the Commissioner wasn't on seat. Knowing fully how the system works, I realized they were just diplomatically chased out cos they don't have an appointment with him.
So we drove out all three of us, went over, met the commissioner and explained what I want. He immediately directed she starts her documentation right away hence, my babe and I had to leave her over there and head back to my office.
Seeing that it's already minutes pass 5pm and the official quarters of the Govt House was empty, we decided to have a quick one with my babe in my office, believing that no any other government functionaries is on seat as the car park was kinda empty.
Just as we were in the middle of it, the SSG and Chief Protocol Officer drove in and on seeing my car, they came over to my office (we no even hear anyone knocking sef) . So they decided to peep thru the window as they were a bit worried seeing that my car was there but my office is locked from the inside.
To cut long story short, I was caught red handed making out right inside the office. Though none of them is my direct principal but the Governor himself, I'm afraid they might stylishly leak it out cos we had some problems with the SSG two weeks ago.
Now should I face him and plead he covers my arse or I should just wait and see if he might not even take the issue up to the powers that be?
Kindly help a brother pls.

now, the best advice ever is, pretend as if nothing happened. |
Romance › Re: I Caught Her Double Dating Just Few Months To Our Wedding. by kingenry(m): 4:18pm On Jun 01, 2016 |
Some advice here might be misleading. What's wrong with second chance? You know the lady better than any other person here. Why can't you just do what both of you know would work? Are you telling me you haven't cheated on her before? Or if you haven't, do you think you can guarantee tomorrow? If she acknowledges her wrong, not trying to save face for the disappointment of the on coming wedding, why can't you accept her back? Then you should start looking inward to why she cheated or still cheating on you. Are you satisfying her sexually? Are you two communicating well? Are you sensitive to her emotions? Do you give her attention? How often do you compliment her? Do you always tell her how much you love her? Does she love you? Is she proud of you? Do you molest her? Do you talk with her instead of "talking to her"? Please go make your relationship work. Relationship and marriage require alot of hardwork and commitment. Many times we would be offended and many times we are expected to forgive. Dish her if you suspect she would be an unrepentant cheat. Every Saint have a past and every sinner have a future. Am not married my brother and not even soon but that's what I can offer you free of charge as a wedding gift. |

Moyanbe: How I wish the media houses can be of help... All they know is to publish news relating to #dasukigate and others. Infact, this scheme is worthless with the way it's handled. Even the nysc authorities cannot give any reason for its postponement, it's like they are also confused. What a pity!!! A sad calamity to our youths #weneedtoraiseourvoice [b] The media houses will never! And if they do, they will only adopt a slant on it. If you are a qualified graduate, you should be qualified to know that the budget conundrum braked-down the NYSC community activities. Do you need a sooth-sayer for that? Up till now, the NYSC staff used for the last orientation camp have not been paid. Do you want to come to camp and not eat? Or not paid? Do you think camp run on grass? [b] |

The writer presents such a compelling argument in favor of importing enriched grass for our livestock, that its hard not to see the sense in it.
When I read through the plethora of criticisms that greeted this post, I had no option than to ignore their follies and let them perish with it. Thanks for taking the pain to explain to them. In summary... |
Agriculture › Re: Why We Are Importing Grass By Minister Of Agriculture by kingenry(m): 4:35pm On Mar 25, 2016 |
obailala: One of the greatest impediments to the progress of the black man and the black race is our inability to read, our inability to discern and our inordinate urge to 'respond' even before we listen.
The article simply exposes the ignorance of all those castigating the plan to import high nutrient grass seedlings for cultivation in Nigeria. This firstly, is standard practice in agriculture all over the world, but common sense is obviously not too common especially when political sentiments are involved. I can swear on my life that 95% of the respondents above did not read beyond the 3rd line, but mostly read the title and proceeded to comment. Maybe if they read the article, they would have firstly realised it was written by an independent veterinarian and not the minister (as the title implies) and they would have also seen some sensible points. If it takes decades of research to genetically create a new specie of high nutrient grass which has the capacity to boost beef and milk production beyond our imagination, then my common sense tells me it is definitely silly trying to re-invent the wheel; the sensible thing to do is to take the short-cut by simply obtaining those already optimised grass seedlings and growing them here in Nigeria. Just the same way we imported improved flood resistant rice seedlings some years back which has in no little way contributed to the rice revolution in different parts of Nigeria today. For clarity for those who are oblivious of this, "grass is not grass" and there is a reason why people spend several years studying agriculture in the university and research institutes even when our great grand fathers knew exactly how to sow and reap basic food crops.
A point of note in the article is milk production, Nigeria imports over 90% of the milk it consumes spending over $200m annually on this. A typical Nigerian milk cow produces 200kg of milk annually whereas a typical European milk cow produces up to 6500kg of milk annually, i.e. over 3000% more milk production. The main difference is the nutritional content of the feedstock these cows consume. Ironically, the same people who protest the plan to import improved grass seedlings (for planting) to improve our beef and milk production do not protest the billions we spend importing milk yearly; these same people (probably because of warped political logic) did not also see anything wrong when improved rice seedlings were imported few years back to help boost Nigeria's rice production capacity.
What I find most disheartening about these comments I have quoted is that most of the respondents here are youths, educated youths; and then we begin to wonder why the old have refused to relinquish power. They may claim not to be agriculturists, but that is definitely no excuse for this ignorance because anyone with even partial education should be able to discern these things. If only we can sometimes purge our minds of flimsy political sentiments, then some of these things are just common sense.
Please tell them! |

This is why Nigeria will always remain under-developed. Use your brain to understand nature and ask questions/study if you are not clear. Instead, 'God' becomes the solution to any 'strange' natural phenomenon. Chinese teenagers are building quantum computers and grown Nigerian men and women do not understand the simple physics of refraction of light. THIS COUNTRY IS DOOMED. How come your hammer head still lives in a doomed country? |

shachris02: Trash. This is the reason why I support the social media act.
You don't have any proof, no witnesses, no alibi, no one to correspond your suspicions and accusation and all what you do is come to social media with a mans image...accusing him of nefarious acts that are unproven yet!!
This is someone's father, husband, friend, brother. There's a lot at stake here. The man's job, image, relationship, reputation. Everything is at stake all because someone decided to use social media to taint someone else's image. it could be anyone. If i have issues with you, all what i have to do is to claim you rape my daughter and come to social media with the pictures and the case is closed.
Upon all the accusation that've been placed on this innocent's man's head (yes he is innocent until proven guilty) . I've not seen one concrete evidence or proof that he committed any crime.
Please when will the senate push this social media act abeg? Why can't you go to the NA and push for the bill? |

Ksslib: Na these same set of idiotas go open their stinking mouth dey complain of corruption when they themselves are ten times as corrupt as our so called leaders. Na common class rep na im dem give am wey she begin mismanage funds. Imagine the damage she would cause if she had a juicy position in the government.
Na so Uniben go vote one winch as SUG president some years back. The damage wey that girl cause with student money reach to act season film.
My point is; we keep blaming the government for our woes but are we any better? We abuse the little positions we occupy like "financial secretary, Treasurer, Sug president, class rep" but still accuse the government of perpetuating evil forgetting we all are birds of same feather.
Look at that image standing in front of the mirror and you might just realise we are not any better afterall, that we all are the same evil side of that coin.
And that maybe, just maybe, there is no hope for Nigeria afterall. How many government officials can be as bold as taking responsibility? |

Am on a full time job and a full time masters program, my will power has been so strong that I defy every odd in order to attend lectures. Though, at times I feel used and exhausted but the joy of belonging to an intellectual society and the accompanying benefits after completion is worth sacrificing for. Have you read sir Ernest Shackleton' s "spirit of the quest" before? It's a Motivational medicine for the quest you are about to embark on. The God factor has never for once failed too.
