Think of Enterprise registration like renting a single room.

You can live there and manage your business, but your options are limited.

Now think of an LTD like owning a full apartment.

More space. More flexibility. More room to do different things.

That is one major difference between Enterprise and LTD.

Under Enterprise, some names and businesses simply cannot be registered.

“ABC Security”, “ABC Holdings” or “ABC School” will not fly as a Business Name.

If you run a school, security company, travel and tours business or educational institution, you need to look beyond Enterprise registration.

There is also another important difference.

CAC introduced a restriction that allows only one nature of business under a Business Name.

With an LTD, you can have multiple business activities under the same company.

So if your business is growing or you already know you will be doing different things, LTD gives you more room.

And if you already registered as Enterprise and your business has outgrown that “single room”, there is an upgrade route.
