simniboma: No a dongle is a small piece of hardware that attaches to computer, TV, or other electronic device and enables additional functions. the type of dongle I mean is a USB WiFi dongle. You can also call it a USB Wi Fi adaptor. It looks like this

simniboma: Yea you will not realise it. As you know the 4922 series were not manufacture with a Wi Fi hard ware so you will need a dongle to complement the soft ware to enable you connect to the internet by the Wi Fi.

simniboma: @ all using 4920, 4922, 4922A the software 118 solves the problem of 10% loss of quality reception. I uploaded it today and to my surprise realise reception level has increased from 85% to 93% and reception Quality from 72% to 82% on Astra 2F (Multi TV)there was also similar rise in reception on other satellite positions. Not convinced by what I realised I reloaded an older version and realised the fall in reception again.Will do a more detail analysis by weekend when I am free. Try it and confirm my story.

@simniboma... I tried d update and it worked exactly as u side. my quality increased by dt margin. but wht i didnt notice of find is the wifi of a tin, wht actauly dos it do jst incase it is der?.. tnx 4 urupdate.

Goodday guru's... I jst bought a new srt 4922, to replace my 69xii dt I tuk to my village for my granny,I usually enjoy it wt my Avata to flex my Dstv. But wt d new new 4922 i cant flex wt my dstv channels, it cm's wt green but no pix. To comfirm d potence of my Avata, I tried it wt my neighboutrs 69Z, it worked vry well. Smbody jst fently told me it has smtin to do wt dongle or smtin. pls cn sm1 help me out here to get back to my flexin. cos i beliv my srt 4922 is still useful.Tnx!

I just bought dz 4922 HD receiver to replace my 4669xii after tekin it to d village. Now dt i use d new 4922, i cnt seems to use it wt my Avata to enable me enjoy my DSTV. but I later borrowed my neighbours 69Z to test my Avata's potence only to find out dt its still working ver well. Pls can any body comfirm if Avata's are compotable wt srt 4922 receivers.

I beg guyz I am new here, and seriously in need to understd evrytin u guyz are talking abt. I hv Multv & mine shows. But what I cnt clearly understd is dt of KKTV stuf. I Undstd dt its FQ is 12.560 V SR 3095. I cnt seems to find any place more suitable to key in d FQ & SR. Unlike dt of Multv wher u cn simply go to ASTRA 2b. & enter d FQ & SR & u r gud to go. So I am stil wnt to kw whc way to go 4 dt of KKTV... is it Amos, Intelsat, Hot or even d same Astra 2b.. whc I hv tried. Ps cn a guru here help. Tnx!...Johny just Come(JJC).
