I can't say for now but will check when i get home. because i have a setup of 28e, 16e, 9e and 5e on a 90cm dish which everything is working perfectly, so i didn't bother myself about the 5e I have with 7e on a single lnb.

Pls can you or anybody help me with the best TP's & LNB skew for tracking each of the following; 5e, 7e, 9e, 16e satelites preferable on Mpeg2/4 platform becos of my satfinder machine.

powerVU key Tested and working on IS906 on AFN channels.I had to insert the keys manually to open using srt4920

@chester... Please can u come clear with this POWERVU & AFN Channels, I mean start from the basics. All dz stuff u are saying sounds so new, yet I love d way it sounds.
What is Power VU?
What are AFN channels?
If they are channels as u called it, how do we track them? , the Angle (east or west) at what degree....?

@obynocute... Track with 12303H27500... Just make sure ur LNB is at 8oclock. Its slightly below DSTV & Joy TV. Then Blind scan. MBC shud b singing on ur screen.

My brother, Its easy to track MBC on 26e... Track with 12303H27500, when u hit green, twit ur LNB to 8 o.clock... Blind scan and ur MBC shud b dancing on ur screen.... But in all u do, apply patience.

Can anyone give me an idea why my IRIB VARESH disappears in the morning but at night is a solid 65%?

Update: Scratch that!

I found that my Amos 5 line/lnb was somehow disturbing the signal. I removed it from the diseq, and Varesh is now showing

Out of curiosity though, the question still stands: why does it show at night yet still but not in the day (with the bad line connected)?

Also can anybody out there help me with an Amos 5 / Multi TV on one dish (60cm)? I can't get it to show and I have the 2-in-1 discovery LNB- Using Amos 5 as my primary. As it is now, I always have to go and physically move the dish up or down to switch between Amos 5 and Multi TV. I've read that it is possible and a couple of people said they have done it.

My brother in dz set up.... u don't need that 2in1Lnb called discovery.. You can use it as ur secordary Lnb to track Multi TV and dstv. but in dz case get urself a single Lnb for Amos as ur primary just as u hv now then add that ur discovery lnb on top ur primary(Amos) abt 6inches above it and 2inches to d left while standing in front of dish.. play around there u shed hit green. then adjust d other half of ur discovery lnb to get or dstv. very simple. Try it and get back at us.

Or-less u want to tell me u don't read peoples actions and reactions on dz site b4 ruining ur mouth and wasting precious pages with repeated questions and answers here... Pls this thread was never born today.... Everytin u feel or tin u wud wnt to know & ask has been taken care of in this thread, even when its not suppose to b part of the discussion here yet we still try to squeeze out answering time for it. My advise to you is to tek ur time to flip through the pages of dz thread you will learn more and equip yourself the more, then saving us precious time and pages for more serious and relevant issues to deal with.

Well allot of tinz is possible when it comes to multiple LNB setup with one dish... But bring in mytv in that circle of setups as mentioned above... Meeenn! I neva try am before, but the last time I checked, its far impossible, except/maybe with a big dish like 1.5/1.8m dish.

U can set up DSTV, Multi Tv, Irib, Amos and (ses4/5 with Muvi Tv7e) but u hv to twit ur LNB very well to get 70%above on ses4/5 for ur Muvi Tv7e to appear... all this can be done SOUNDLY with at list 90cm dish and above... mind you I said soundly. Or less my ogas here has a contrary view about this.


Simply track Amos as ur primary, while standing in-front of ur dish add another Lnb on top of ur Amos(Primary) lift 5/6iches up and 1.5inches to the left..there u shud hit Multi Tv(Secondary). Add the third Lnb on top of the Multi Tv slidely to hit ur DSTV. For Ses4/5.. here still standing infront of ur dish about 2.5/3inches below ur Amos moving to the right( Try along the Iron rod or 1.5/2inches away from the Iron rod holding the Primary Lnb) here u shud hit green.

Its as easy as it sound abi... But honestly it took me more than 6months under the sun to fully understnd the hole senerio... well maybe I wasn't tot well or I neva understd the lecture during d teaching.. But tru the constant teaching from my wonder minded gurus here,determination to know more and PATIENCE above all.. I did passed my class and moved on to the next class.(But I no b guru oo... still a quiet learner).

In as much you cant trust them, them as well cant trust u 2, vise-verse... Thats how it goes. FOUNDATION STAGE.

Rextab: i have a 2 in 1 set up on a 90cm.
12728 is at 75% at night.
Mbc is stable through out.
I used to have problems at first,but after i dropd the mbc freq from 11192 to 11185. I have never had problems.

The primary lnb is at 16/17 deg while the additionl is w3a.

@Ball22. I am from Imo state, but stay in Anambra. Hv u tried New Market in owerri, inside the garage or the shops along the road, cos that's where i bought my 1m dish some couple of months ago. Or better still come down to Onitsha(Electronics Market) I am sure u will be taken care of.

larryenob: this is very simple note this when tracking 3 or2 in one dish. Frist track Amos than ontop of it add multiTv den on top of multiv add anothe LNBF which will give u Dstv( if u re trackin with a single dish it differ 3 or2 in one)

@larryenob.. I dnt tik d theory is true. by my observation & deductions, amos/w3c stays on top, multitiv follows while Dstv comes third.

naijaobi: i had this same problem not long ago.. Bt after tweaking my lnb and getting my diseq switch spoilt(lol), and then getting a new one, i finally got it working.. Right nw i enjoy the infinity packages... And also i neva knew daarsat packages was free...wow.. Amos rocks..
Lest i forget, i use the 1.24p software..

@naijaobi.. do you mean all infinity package are FTA on Amos, mine is not ooo! d only channel that shows free on mine is Kpakpadoo & dice.. while others dosnt show. and if it shows, broooos I beg show me d way to catch dz fish..

Gr8t tnks to u, I tryed out d directives u gave to me, on nailing multiTv whc fails on top of Dstv and below Amos/W3c usin d same fq 12.523v19531.. broos frm moni till nit notin cm up, but cud hit green on Amos & Dstv wt ease.. doo my arm wz to do a 3 in 1 set-up... broos d tin no b beans. But @ the end of d day I rest my case on Amos/w3c, since I already hv a seperate dish 4 Dstv & Mytv. beside whats so much abt MultiTv since Amos/W3c seems far more beta.

I am getting everything twisted. After critical study of the post hereon this forum, I decided to try it out myself. With my new 1m dish, I could manage to track DSTV, with d hope to track MultiTV below it, all effort cudn't yield notin. Only for me to realize dt I cud nail Amos/w3c(16e & 17e)somewhere above DSTV. Insted far below DSTV & MultiTV as must guru's hv stated in there post.... Now my question is...?
