Security Warning⚡Security Warning⚡Security Warning⚡ Please we need to notify all Lagos residents that usually leave too early between 4:30am-5am-6am..to be extremely careful and look before they enter any bus or transport means. Two people were picked up at different points along the Aromire- Adeniyi Jones axis by an almost full bus in front of an Estate Bus Stop, not too far from the Estate gate..they were robbed under duress...their belongings were collected..Laptop, wrist watch, wallet, wedding ring, etc ..they were pinned down on the floor of the bus...they searched them thoroughly, looking especially for valuables, cash etc..especially their ATM cards..they were then dropped at the end of Adeniyi Jones towards the factory, and asked not to shout...they then turned round to pick more victims before 6-6:30am..the most surprising part of the incident was the fact that the young boys were with a "POS machine"..they confirmed the pin number to be sure they could access the account..wow God save us in this country!!! Just while talking to one of the victims the alerts of deductions on his account with the ATM card was coming in from an Abule Egba ATM machine (knowing fully well that the bank doesn't open until 8am)..the saving grace is that he forgot his phone at home while rushing out..so he could see all that was happening on his account and tried to contact his account officer or the nearest branch of the bank...please this just happened this morning. What happened to one can happen to anyone if we don't take caution.. please let us avoid leaving home while it is still dark(if we can avoid it) *With this advent, it might be advisable not to always walk around with your ATM Card for account that has lot of cash. A friend confirmed it this morning, that two people he knows are victim already, they collected over 400 thousand from their different accounts through the atm. They were pinned under the chair and were released after withdrawing from their various accounts,in fact a fake Mopol was sitting in front of the bus who was also one of them. Please take the required caution. |
I vote Ivyy |
hundredhundred:My brother leave them,by the end of the year we will know what up with them all........like the saying in economic..."the end shall justify the means". Rubbish party + Rubbish governor =Rubbish result |
amaechi1:Tell them, sometimes I always think if our leaders fail on their own part must we follow suit....Nigerians with their thinking #sha |
Senator Buruji Kashamu asks Governor Ayodele Fayose to stop being childish Instead, he urged Fayose to concentrate on defending the loads of accusations leveled against him in recent times including that which led to the freezing of his bank account. The presidency had also reacted to the allegation against Hajia Aisha calling him a man childishly obsessed with the desire to grab the headlines and insulting people at will because of his incurably boorish instincts. In a statement by the senator, according The Eagle Online, Fayose was asked “to stop the needless mudslinging against the wife of the president, Mrs Aisha Buhari and face the allegations against him.” READ ALSO: Breaking News: PDP breaks into 3 in Ogun Kashamu said the attempt by Fayose to link Hajia Buhari with the Halliburton scandal is a needless distraction and an amateurish shadow-boxing. “His action could be taken for a drowning man clutching at a straw. “It is interesting that Mr Fayose is talking about the rule of law and the need to do things within the ambit of the law. “I never knew that he has ever heard of the concept of the rule of law. “When he trampled on other people’s rights in a bid to abrogate their tenure in office, where was the rule of law? “Now he is crying out because he is afraid he might have to get a taste of his own medicine because a man must certainly reap whatever he sows. READ ALSO: Freezing of Fayose’s account illegal – PDP “Mr Fayose is talking about the fact that he enjoys immunity under the law. If I may ask: can a governor who disobeys the law with reckless abandon seek protection under the law? “You cannot say because immunity covers you, you should not be investigated if you are suspected to have benefitted from the funds that were meant to buy arms for the protection of Nigerians. “I think it is high time that we, as a people and government, address the issue of people committing crimes and hiding under the immunity clause. “Fayose must stop chasing shadows and address the allegations against him. It is preposterous that he suddenly remembered that someone was involved in the Halliburton scandal at exactly the same time that he is being investigated over the funds he allegedly collected from the office of the national security adviser. “The questions are: Was he a beneficiary of the ONSA funds? Is it true that over N300million was frozen in three accounts traced to him? Were suspicious cash deposits made into the accounts in 2014, in clear violation of the Money Laundering Act and other enabling laws? “It is said that you can fool some people all of the time but you cannot fool all the people all of the time. Nigerians can now see that what is playing out is a confirmation of my earlier position that the loudest among us are not necessarily the most pious. “If he is being asked questions about his campaign funds, he should be bold enough to give explanations without necessarily casting aspersion on anyone. He should allow necessary investigations to go on unimpeded. READ ALSO: Fayose, Mimiko in battle for the soul of southwest PDP “That will not only help to prove his innocence or otherwise but could possibly boost his rating. He could even choose to waive his immunity to aid the investigation if he does not have anything to hide. “Immunity does not preclude any public officer even a governor from explaining how he funded his election campaign or the source(s) of deposits made into his account(s). “The reality that Mr Fayose must come to terms with is that the allegations against him are too grave to be sidelined for a seemingly spurious allegation against the wife of the president. “Months of workers’ salaries are yet to be paid in Ekiti state; development partners have abandoned the state, just as families are languishing as a result of his ill-advised political scheming. “This current campaign of calumny and juvenile tantrums cannot sweep the issue of corruption under the carpet; neither can it kick enough dirt to make any |
BALLOSKI:U can't blame them nah....when their foolishness as cover their reasoning so what do u expect.....#the end shall justify the means.... |

[quote author=seunmsg post=44525816]Even while in PDP, Smart Adeyemi has always been a close associate of Bola Tinubu. With his defection and Saraki's inevitable downfall, Dino will face a tough time coming back to the senate. Dino's decision to swim or sink with Saraki may end up being his achilles heel.
