Joebie: That's an analogy.. you can even use animals or anything for that matter as an analogy. Oh Iweala choosing UN over Nigeria? Was that what you were getting at? I think he was saying if someone is asked to choose between working for the Nigerian govt n the un who should one choose and he was betting none will choose the Nigerian govt that was the basis of my bringing the name up BTW when it comes to the point as in the case of Tammy Abraham I feel it's a difficult decision to take considering his ratings presently in England and feeling he might not get the snub others might get since Alli can be the mainstay in the three lions team he too can make it |

soetanoreoluwa: Just put this question to them
Which council will you choose?... Nigeria calling you to be part of her government and United Nations calling you to be part of her governing council bear it in mind you have not been to Nigeria before.. All your life style is part of governing council of united nation... And you have heard alot of negative stories about Nigeria.. Which one will you choose?
Let us see their responses Joebie: Well you just gave me a name of the our ex finance minister.. are we talking politics now or how does that add up? I'm just trying to understand. he brought politics into it and since i've never being in such situation, i could only bring one who i felt fits in |

Icon4s: The seeding will be done after the November rankings. This list up there can still change. i think its October ranking since the draws will be on december 1st and the ranking might not be announced then and i think in the meeting they held to determine how the draws will be made, the reports says the October ranking will be used |

Mujtahida: Guy there was tension that day. I really didn't enjoy watching the match. In fact I felt we were poor. But after the match I rewatched the match and I saw that we weren't poor. Only there was too much pressure, too much expectation and the Zambians were dogged. The fact is the match was interesting with wave after wave of attack alternated by both sides. What the Zambians did was to make sure they broke up our passing game by upping the tempo of the game. It made us erratic and unsettled. It affected Balogun more than any other player in the first half. By the second half the Zambians naturally dropped some bit on the energy. That goal came through 15 passes from our end and very tight ones in the last seven that led to the goal.
The key is to not let Nigeria get into their rhythm. Once we do, we score. All our matches bear this out. please where did you rewatch it I've been looking for a place to download it without success |

elyte89: Who b those yeye ppu wey dey call Mikel legend? ,seems some peeps need a dico here
If I hear legend, legend ko,star lager beer ni,do u think staying at a club for so long means u re automatically a legend?,maybe u shld tell me a match where Mikel single handedly won or rescued the team, wen d chips were down.
Mikel showed d signs of been a future legend during d U-20 world cup in 2005,but immediately mourinho changed his style of play and wc himself refused to improve except to give balance to his team wyle in play
Mikel had never done anything extraordinary to be termed a LEGEND, both country and club, quote me anywhere...he was only gud at playing to instructions
If u want to knw legend, mention players dt rescued d team when d chips were down, mention players like messi,c.ronaldo,Ronaldo,Zidane,Ronaldinho,Maldini,Lampard,J.terry and so on...these re legend dt rescued deir teams both clubs and countries when all seems impossible on d pitch of play go read kog45 replies above on this and get the clarity meanwhile he got a MOTM performance against Barcelona i think enroute the champions league chelsea won that year |

TheSuperNerd: Well... now that you mention Oct. 7 ... hmmmm... well... you got a point. We need Moses for that game. We don't want him picking up any last minute injuries or knocks.
But for the Long run...... I am only thinking of Moses' place in Chelsea's first XI against the biggest guns of Europe.
He was trusted against Atletico Madrid... so why not Against Man City? hmmmm... well.. more on this later. one thing i rate Azpi more is in his crosses probably what Conte wants to play today is to use more of the wings in bringing in crosses since Morata prefers using his head to score than his legs I may be wrong though but its still a plus to us though in that there might not be any knock to either keep him out or reduce his influence in the October 7 decider |

TheSuperNerd: Nigerian Players P-Index
Victor Moses shockingly dropped for Cesar Azpilicueta at RWB. He and Zappacosta are benched. Conte being extremely cautious because of Man City's wealth of Attacking quality.
Doesn't he trust Moses enough? Conte's loss a plus to the Super Eagles because we need him fully fit for the match coming saturday |

Mickael2: come take drugs brother . Anyways some people's opinion vex me sometimes like when Kog45 said Ndidi is better than Busquets, I knew I would vex and start insulting the guy(and I know he is way older than me and I MUST respect him)so I just backed down. That's my way, despite the fact that this is an online forum, top guys like Icon4s who I know are my bonafide seniors I don't even reply their comments so that we won't even have any form of dispute, any new moniker I won't attack the person until I check out his age range and I hardly even attack without provocation.
I understand that you don't like my views about life but I always plan for the worse. I started having a negative attitude towards life when a guy I know finished secondary school as the best graduating student but he still had to stay at home a while looking for admission and then I figured out that you should always be prepared for the worst, don't always hope that the best will happen. That is why I always assume that we will lose until I am sure that every possible weak point is corrected, that is just me, you may not be like that but we can still co-exist in that diversity.
In this vein I would like to totally support Icon4s' gesture and I also plead with Safarigirl(my very own sister from Abia) to also join us. In that vein also I would like to apologise to anybody that I may have offended in the course of this conflict but it is high time we let it go. Safari, babe, you don't need to apologise because you did nothing wrong but do not expect an apology from him upfront, just bury the hatchet, 'sorry' must not always be said before peace reigns. Who knows, he may later come and apologise to you privately but if we continue like this we will never know peace. Chrismario and Pietrico(I expect you to show up Asap) please forgive him of any wrong-doing but please let this die a naturally death. Icon4s as the leader of the gang has decided to embark upon a wonderful peace-making mission, let's all support him.
On a side note sha, something like this MUST happen again, that's human psychology for you, the only suprising thing is that it took this long before it happened. But the most important thing is how we handle this matter today because it will influence how we handle subsequent matters when they happen, it is not fun going to theSuperNerd's thread and noticing that he comments, replies his own comments and discusses with a couple of Ghanians who are hardly ever there, our young friend is going haywire, let's just extend the hand of friendship, he wants it trust me, he may just be too reluctant to hold out his own hand first at the bolded you no go kill me with laugh sha |

I'm in support of the peace move too Icon4s.
I think we should tune down our comparison a bit too because even the bible says de that compare themselves are not wise and also most comparison going on doesn't change the people engaging in it opinion because they'll surely stick to it no matter how hard and factual the supposed opponent's points are...
the best is drop your facts about things and anybody doesn't agree or align with them, no need persuading or beating the person into line to accept. |
