The problem is, despite all the boasting you and yes other tribes do, no tribe in Africa can stand on its own, because most of you prefer to go to university and get a white collar job with your degree, than get a vocational and technical education and build the society of tomorrow.

That's why we are underdeveloped and we are in debt. All those boys and girls who are posing in their airconditioned offices are costing our government and economies billions of scarce forex. Yes, including the politicans and people on top, they are part of it.

But let me tell you something...any new nation that comes out of Nigeria, if it must be prosperous, a generation, maybe two would have to work very long and degrading hours, and do a lot of dirty work and manufacturing work to ensure the country becomes an industrial producer that can survive on its own if oil runs out.

Most of the Nigerians who want division or who want nigeria to remain united have their eye on the oil money. They do not have their eye on develoipment and using their raw materials to make exportable goods and services the world needs.

South Korea was behind many African nations as at 1960. I am not lying or exagerrating. It took a generation of people doing the three D's and a generatrion of white collar workers working their hands off before the country saw something like a first world life. It took them holding their education to high standards, such that kids had to start getting ready for university long before the time, before they could be an industrial nation.

It was not by fighting corruption alone. Yes, we need to do it, but it would not make us prosperous.

Someone wrote a letter (petition) to the EFCC asking them to investigate Deji Adeyanju (a lawyer and activist) and Martins Vincent Otse (VeryDarkMan).

The person who wrote the letter is Blessing Agbomhere.

What is he asking EFCC to check?
• Where they get money for their activities.
• Who funds their protests and campaigns.
• Whether any of the money comes from illegal sources.
• Whether any of the money could be connected to activities that may threaten Nigeria’s security.

Think of it like this:

If someone suddenly starts spending a lot of money on projects, events, and campaigns, someone may ask, “Where is all this money coming from?” The EFCC can investigate to find out.

The petitioner wants EFCC to:
• Check their bank accounts.
• Check their assets (houses, cars, etc.).
• Check their businesses.
• Check their sources of income.

Very important:

❌ The petition does not say they are guilty.

✅ It only asks EFCC to investigate and confirm whether everything is legal.

The article also says that if EFCC investigates and finds nothing wrong, it could actually help prove that Deji Adeyanju and VeryDarkMan are clean and increase public trust in them.

At the moment, EFCC has not officially said anything yet, and an investigation does not mean a person has committed a crime. It simply means someone has asked the agency to look into the matter.

Only a useless country will allow characters like Sowore and VDM on non State Actors activities without investigating their sources of funding. Nobody can try that in US and major European countries.

You cannot just bring funds to Nigeria to support Non State Actors whose activities constitute nuisance to the government.
