But if you're up for thrills, you go for American or German machines. Its not surprising why we wont have much skilled technicians in the field of German it's simple; 'most people go for low hanging fruits(becoming a jap technician)'.
Being an automobile technician for a German car means you'll be open to evolving, learning and steadily unlearning.
The skill set for manning an E46 or E90 wouldn't sustain you in handling an F10 powered machine.
But in Japanese, once you can even handle a 2000model 1AZ, You will still be able to handle 2014 2GR, cos they are basically the same.
Same thing most university lecturers do, using torn notes to instill knowledge in 21st century, that's what most Jap technicians do.

Belgium Front bearing with hub is about 35-40k for L&R.
C350 W211 BRAND NEW STAR bearing is 45k for L&R

I own both vehicles, and I'm speaking practically as someone who knows his way around APO and GUDU.
I understand your trade and skill set also and know how u wouldn't share knowledge easily cos you paid for it. But interestingly I feel sharing makes us gain alot, pls I'm here to gain if we can have factual answers to the questions above.

Unfortunately we just sit down and overly regard corolla not opening our horizons to try other vehicle manufacturers. No one ever said he wants to leave his automobile as an artifact for a family museum.

1. 2.0 Turbo engine is 500,000 in Iyana Itire, while a toyota Corolla 1ZZ-FE and its transmisson is 340,000 toks from Apo, and ladipo own is even cheaper. Fact!

2. Toyota wiper mechanism hardly goes bad, I've never replaced any so I don't know. Surely, its a German car you're driving its made to go bad and drop huge bills at your foot. Fact

3. Fender for corolla is 15,000 in Apo and 10-15,000 in ladipo, door is 15,000. Fact!

4. You claim its more economical than a corolla, a corolla is lighter, has a smaller volumetric displacement engine, and also tuned for city driving, its more economical than your Passat 2.0t. Fact!

Learn to choose your fights carefully. Some of them came bespoke with 3S-GTE having 256hp. Tho, you'd find those engines more in the wagon variants but its not hard to transplant them into the sedans.

Did you just change the ATF? If yes, dis you use genuine MB fluid? Was the oil properly guaged? Was the filter/harness or any associated wire connectors fixed properly?

Scenario 2
If you haven't done any work on the AT yet, but currently facing an incorrect gear ratio problem. Prepare for a major rebuild of your valve body or AT replacement

You know the usual suspects to holla for a rebuild/replace - best of luck

Yes they're good and its also good to have modern safety systems in ones car, but your points are flawed.
Why? Any good driver can do with out these added safety systems. The best safety for a car is driver's alertness, sober driving, quick anticipation and defensive driving. You can actually do without these added safety systems in today's world and you'd be totally fine.
In some cases, these added systems adds to the complexities of a modern car, causes distraction and also when invaded by black hackers, could compromise the safety and security of your car and cause crashes.

Also, some onboard sensors could go haywire during weather extremes, such as W220 Distronic Radar Cruise Control (A form of Automatic Cruise Controls) which was confused in foggy environment and couldn't avart crashes.
Do not also forget that some sensors on cars have not been fully adopted and mastered by these car companies and have their own inherent limitations and could prove dangerous and fatal. Examples are Google autonomous cars, Tesla autopilot etc.
