For your information, my alma mater is at the top of the list but be that as it may, you want to tell me that the University of Ibadan of today has a better standard than University College, Ibadan that was affiliated to the University College, London? Then the economic recession must be seriously dealing with you! Did your parents or elders ever sit you down to relay to you what the University was then and what they enjoyed? Learn!
Besides, the computer system was not as prominent as this during that period, even for research so the issue of whether they were recognized in the past is relative.
Note that the mistake we are making is the failure to realise that webometric ranking does not translate to high standard of education to the common man just as increase in GDP does not reckon with a high standard of living of the masses.
Are you one of those that have been brain washed? "When you know your problem it is half-solved"! Don't you think it is high time we moved on, face reality and try to cope with what we have while trying to restructure the whole system.

Baba no one's disputing the webometrics criteria with you. This 'past glory' thing y'all talk bout is a charade people like you use to wail. The academic standards, achievements and recognition of these schools are way higher now than it was many years back.
My Alma mater always top the list, and I know bout the high standard of living of its indigenous students in the 60s nd 70s. Which was due to the fact that students were few and the naira had an ample value. Still this doesn't match its current level.
You were fat as a kid but slim as a man doesn't make the old you greater than the new you.. after all labour, achievements nd development over the years.

I remember when i had Post-Ume exams to write at O.A.U... I made friends with students of a particular hostel outside the School premises, i was able to pass the night there to go for my exam the next morning. One of the guys made me follow one of his neighbours( who was a "machinery" though he was a student of the school.) snce it was my first time. we eventually wrote in the same Centre but different halls.

I alerted him when i was done, he had long finished and was waiting for me. The crowd that day was massive, there was no way we cud get a bus easily. After waiting for a long time and no luck, he decided to take me through a route.



That route was filled with trees; more like a Forest. At first there were few of us walking together but they eventually left us behind due to our slow movement. The idiot guy intentionally led me to a place where there was no path again. I was in front, so when i realised this, i turned around only for me to see the guy standing and staring at me, His dick was up already and he..........



Well, let me stop here.....i dont like to remember it but we eventually got back to the hostel in silence.

Mine was a terrible experience. I went to owerri to visit my cousin brother in 2006. I arrived on friday. Then on saturday morning he told me he was going for an interview at PH but his girlfriend will come around that i should stay with her till he comes back. Around 11am i heard a knock at the door, I opened and she said her name is Flora my cousin's gf. I have to call my brother to inform him because i've not met her in person so i spoke with him and gave the girl the phone so both of them talked. To cut the long story short, my brother couldn't come back that same day because they didn't start on time and there was a heavy rain so he stayed back and promised to be back on sunday. So at night, i was fast asleep when i noticed a soft hand on my chest. I pretended as if i didn't notice it before i'll say jack the hand went down to my d**k. I jumped up and held her hand. She started smiling at me. I was very angry with her but she pleaded with me to calm down and play along. I told that i've not done it before she said she will teach me. I told her i'm not interested and went back to sleep. She later begged me not to tell my brother.

Have a feeling this is incomplete.
