Please don’t joke with little things like this. I had a similar experience with a small nose boil last week which almost cost me my life. I don’t even trust all this pharmacy at all. After two days of taking antibiotics prescribed by pharmacist.. there was no improvement, my nose kept swelling. After waking up from sleep on the third day, I noticed the swelling has extended to one part of faces, I hardly see with my right eyes. I had to rush to hospital immediately. When the doctor saw me, she immediately admitted me and I was place on IV antibiotics injection and drip which lasted for 5 days. I was pains and also was constantly placed on painkillers injections or drugs. Just this morning, I completed my routine IV injection and drip. My wound hasn’t perfectly healed but the pains are gone and I am to report to hospital everyday for dressing and cleaning of the wound.

But South Americans are just made up of 10 countries, how can you compare Europe with South America |
I think you are wrong. Messi scored 2 free kicks, A pk and a normal goal. You should give credit to Messi.. he has been carrying the burden all alone. He really outshine Ronaldo this season Messi Score 2 goal 2 pk |

Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Ezenwo Wike has announced a lockdown of parts of Port Harcourt and Obio/Akpor Local Government Areas in view of the failure of residents of the affected areas to comply with the regulations of the State Government to check the spread of coronavirus. In a State Broadcast on Monday, Governor Wike stated that the complete lockdown starts from Tuesday 28 April 2020, till further notice. He said: "In view of the non or passive compliance with these measures, it has become compelling to also place the following parts of Port Harcourt and Obio/AkporLocal Government Areas on 24 hours complete lockdown, beginning from Tuesday 28 April 2020, till further notice: "(i) Elekahia, including the entire stretch of Rumukalagbor-Elekahia link road; (ii) Rumuomasi, including Stadium road; and (iii) Rumuobiokani. "(iv) All residents in these areas must stay at home. All shops, mini-markets, officesand business outfits in these areas must also cease to operate until further notice. "(v) Landlords in these areas must take personal responsibility to enforce this lockdown as we will not hesitate to pull down any commercial building or structure that opens to business in violation of this specific directive." Governor Wike added: "We are also watching the conduct of residents and traders in Rumuokoro, Rumuokurusiand Oyigbowho are refusing to adhere to the Government’s ban and restrictions on business and social gathering in the State. "We appeal to the leaders of these communities to enforce the established restrictions or risk the imposition of a total lockdown on their communities." Governor Wike berated security agencies for allowing travellers to enter and leave the state at will despite the closure of the state's borders. He said: "These unscrupulous security officers are deliberately putting our State and the lives of our people at risk as our health system can hardly cope, should there be a surge in COVID-19 cases. "To contain this threat therefore, we will be inaugurating the State’s Taskforce on Border Closure on Tuesday, April 28, 2020 to effectively monitor our boundaries and ensure that no unauthorized person and or vehicle leaves or enters our State under any guise in breach of the lockdown order." Governor Wike directed the State Commissioner for Social Welfare to round up and deport all vagrants to their state of origin. He said: "We have also directed the Commissioner of Social Welfare to round-up and deport all vagrants, including the almajiris, to their States of origin to protect our people from the threat they present to the transmission of this pandemic. " We have also widened our case finding and containment strategy by moving from targeted testing to active sentinel search for cases with acute symptoms across various public and private facilities and subject them to immediate testing, isolation and treatment. "With these measures, and ceaseless supplications to God, we are confident to win the battle against COVID-19 in our State." Governor Wike commended Rivers healthcare workers for their efforts and personal sacrifices and in prayed God to bless them richly. He said: "While we will step-up our efforts to deliver more palliatives to the vulnerable ones among us, we urge all residents to simply comply with the established directives and protocols on the lockdown and social distancing and save our State from the COVID-19 scourge." Governor Wike gave a situation report on the fight against the spread of coronavirus, urging Rivers people to remain steadfast. He said: "As at yesterday, 26th April 2020, Rivers State had 6 confirmed cases of COVID-19, with 2 fully recovered and discharged, 2 confirmed deaths, while 2 are active and presently receiving treatment in our isolation and treatment centre at Nchia General Hospital, Eleme. "The recent positive cases, in spite of the strategic measures we have put in place, are clear evidence of gradual increase in transmission of the virus, which has happened as a result of the actions of those who either chose to breach or sabotage our directives on lockdown and social distancing. "We consider the emerging trend as not only serious and risky, but also, one that compels us to step-up our strategies and prevent a spike in the transmission of the coronavirus in our State." "For this reason, we should all be prepared to go through more stringent measures, including a possible total statewide lockdown, if the situation so compels, in the days and weeks ahead. "However, we may not get to this drastic point if we exercise more patience and strictly obey and observe all established measures, including the rules, behavioural protocols and restrictions on lockdowns and social distancing. " It is therefore irresponsible for any person, group of persons, corporate entityor institution to endanger the lives of other people by floutingthe existing closure of our borders and the ban on business activities and large social gathering," he added. Simeon Nwakaudu, Special Assistant to the Rivers State Governor, Electronic Media. 27th April , 2020 |
Well mine wasn’t even as a result of money. It actually happened this year.. they really need to scrab this NYSC thing. I am a corp member currently serving in Delta States. I redeployed from Kano state because of how far it was from where I live. Delta state wasn’t actually the state I wanted to redeploy to but it was okay for and it was actually close to Owerri ( only Asaba.. I never knew delta was very big). After my documentation as a relocated corper.. I saw my PPA letter and I was sent to Warri North LGA in a town called Koko.. I was even happy thinking that I was posted to Warri.. so I had to make a research on how to get to Koko from Owerri.. luckily for me, I had a friend serving in that same LGA and he told me to go with him since he was also going there for his monthly clearance the next day.. he asked me to meet him up at Onitsha. He actually told the place was far but I didn’t believe him.. I got to Onitsha by 10 am and by 11 am, we were already at Asaba. He told me we will see a bus going to Koko in koka junction in Asaba but when we got there, there was no bus going to Koko.. we had no option but to enter a bus going to Sapele. We left Asaba almost 12 noon and we spent more than 3 hours going to Sapele from Asaba.. we stop at Jesse junction. Got another bus going to Koko junction and from there to Koko town to meet my LGI, on getting there, it was pass 4:30 pm already and he told me he wasn’t going to attend to me that day and I should come back the next day. I had no option but to pay for an hotel. The next day, I went to meet him around 11 am after preparing my medical report because I made up my mind I wasn’t going to serve in that town. I told him I had health issue and I can’t serve in a riverine and remote town. After pleading with him, he refused to reject my posting and told me to report to the school next week. I was so angry that fateful day. I left Koko town around 3:00 pm after seeing the principal of the school and discussing with her. Got to Koko Junction around 3:45 pm.. took another bus going to Benin bypass.. from there, took another bus going to Agbor bypass.. I got to Agbor bypass by probably 4:30-4:45 pm. From there, I got a bus going to Onitsha.. I remember getting to Onitsha by 7:25 pm.. Got to upperweka, and took a Sienna car heading to Owerri. We left Onitsha I think around 7:45 pm and we were still at Oba or so when the driver notice that is car temperature was rising.. he later found out that his car cooling fan wasn’t actually worker and it was an electrical issue.. the passenger became angry and started demanding for their money back but the driver has already settle Abegero and also bought fuel with part of the money. Most passengers started leaving and some of them started fighting with the driver.. after much much, I and another corp member was the only one left and he had no money to pay us but promise he will get us to Owerri. Well I tried finding another bus but it was difficult because it was so late.. we had no option but to stick with him.. after much, someone helped us to connect the cooling fan wire to the battery head and it started working again. We were set to go and we decided to top it more water. Can you believe this driver after topping the Radiator with water, he forgot to cover it up and eventually lost the cover. We got to a destination and the car overheated again and that when we notice the radiator cover was missing.. I had to use my money to buy 1 bag of water because we couldn’t get water.. the later used a piece of rag to cover the radiator and the car kept overheating until we got to Ihiala.. By the time I checked my time, it was already 10:30 pm... then I started calling my mom to know if there was a suitable hotel in Ihiala I could spend the night.. I am actually from Ihiala.. well we passed Ihiala and was heading to mgbidi when the car overheated again and this time in the middle of nowhere.. I felt like dying because I was totally confused. This was already pass 11 pm. Luckily for us, we passed an Army Check point.. and when the military guys saw we were corpers.. they helped us stop incoming cars heading to Owerri.. that was how I join one private car till I got to Control in Owerri... I am so grateful to those Soldiers. Since it was Friday, everywhere was still very much busy and it wasn’t difficult for me getting home. I will never forget this day. I got home pass 12:30 am |
My brother take heart.. I am from Anambra and I can gladly tell you that she lied when she said that someone from Anambra can’t marry from Ebonyi.. my sister got married to someone from River States. That babe never loved you. |
I don’t even understand how a country as big as Nigeria has carried out only 7k total test for about 28 days now. Is it that some days, they tested only 50 people or what. I have lost hope of this country a lot time ago. If you like don’t stay home.. don’t even depend on the government because like this, they don’t care about public except their family.. for me and my family, We are on total lockdown |
Thank God Port Harcourt is not on this total shutdown like Lagos and FCT.. if it was, by now the whole city wouldn’t be a safe place to stay at all.. PH will be more dangerous and this hoodlums and cultist wouldn’t mind killing someone even just to steal your foodstuff or valuable |
I heard about this yesterday from a friend and I thought he was joking. He even shared some pictures to me.. I didn’t even believe him but now I do. I think EFCC has totally lost it this time.. for me, I believe most of this guys are totally innocent.

You just made me remember the story of the Central Park Five. Duggedised12: |
“When you killed their commanding officers and leader”. Brother are you okay? Is the entire ibo tribe responsible for the coup? luminouz: |
I will also love to hear your uncle story.. for me, I am just here to learn and to be honest, I have learnt something from this thread Toscarel: |
individually I think Messi is far better than Ronaldo...more goals, assists, vision, passing, playmaking, dribbles, freekicks this man has everything and make extraordinary ordinary... still that man takes the blame for his team while individually he grabs MOTMs and man of tournaments in both club level and international level... how can you compare a player who is a mere goalscorer (that too tapins) to a complete player like him..it should be end of discussion when supercomputers and legends favours Messi. igwefivestar: |
I clearly remember this bridge.. Rochas ignored this road totally because he claimed the road is a federal road since it has two federal institutions and also a road linking two federal roads (Owerri-Port Harcourt Road and Naze-Aba road) Rochas killed Imo State, that Obinze road to Nekede road is so bad even a pedestrian can’t walk through it. I don’t even know how it looks now with all this rain. Erosion started eating up this otamiri bridge for over a year and the govt. was aware and they totally ignored the road. I just pity Emeka, he has a lot to do |
Well I can only say they are both similar in some way. I can also tell you what we experience this days, are as a result of both Global warming and climate change. melodyogonna: |
