Religion / Re: Bishop Mar Mari Emmanuel Returns To Church With Eye Patch After Knife Attack by Kinikini: 12:30pm On Apr 30 |
The Africans who think they know the most when it comes to religion are the most gullible. If your religion makes you drop your African name for a name alien to Africa, and which you do not even know the meaning at times, that is the simplest confirmation you are gullible. In your mind, every Muslim must be a terror simply because some Muslims commit terror. Even that is a bias and a manifestation of a sick mind. Try to learn the true Islam. No matter the insults, Islam welcomes those who will use the intelligence Allah has given us freely. Peace to you. Afrobasic: 1 Like |

Hatred destroys. Use the internet positively to learn Islam. Do not mix it with politics and terror, a fallout of politics. You will be pleasantly surprised. Try to understand the true meaning of Idolatry. N1.2B Muslims globally cannot be idiots. Afrobasic: 1 Like |

If only you would take the time to contemplate what the Palestinians have been through for generations, you would refrain from castigating their struggles against the major world powers. The Palestinian-Israeli war is not about Islam or any religion but a war for the control of the land of historical significance. On the Palestinian side, there are Christians and Muslims. On the Palestinian side, some people are closer to the original Jews (Israelis) than the Europeans being celebrated as the State of Israel. The State of Israel is a politically correct name and is not Israel, the name given to the Jews. The State of Israel is a European and Western outpost designed to serve as a first line of defense to the West should any uprising ever come from that side considering the history of the major wars of the past. The State of Israel was also installed at its present location to enable the West to gather intelligence and control the Middle East because of the importance of its oil deposit. Calling a Palestinian uprising a Jihadist Islamist is a sign you are ill-informed. If the State of Israel wishes to obtain a confession from a man in London for a crime committed in Johannesburg, it will get it 100%. Do not count too much on the veracity of that report. Finally, the world will be a better place if all of us rid ourselves of our biases. When you denigrate other people's beliefs, you only instigate further denigration of yours. May God heal all the people with souls so poisoned they have lost empathy for humanity. For the sake of humanity, the Palestinians deserve peace after about 75 years of war. You may have been used to fulfill an occultic covenant. Please note the word, may, because I am not sure. Your mother's conduct is very much like a desperation to fulfill an occultic covenant. What a logic. What are her statistics? How many married women responded to her questionnaire? The marriage institution is been attacked left, right and centre. Yet, marriage is the foundation of the family, and family the foundation of a nation. Sex is no excuse for a martied woman to cheat. Married women who cheat have either been amateur or professional runs girl and it is only natural to continue after marriage with or without an excuse. The decision is that of men anyway. Marry good women, not the BBN types. The regret for a troubled marriage is life long. uote author=viviangist post=105373968]Relationship expert, Blessing Okoro is of the opinion that a lot of married women are sex-starved by their husbands and this makes them cheat. They could have fought for their freedom if they indeed value it. After all, US sends 18yrs marines to protects that freedom fir 20yrs. Home grown dissent is needed to end the Talibans' oppressive reign. quote author=jchioma post=104885418]It's sad, and I really pity the innocent people of Afghanistan, but that's the reality. Power has changed hands and along with it comes CHANGE. I think it's a misconception to think that the whole of the country wants Islamic rule. There are dissents, supporters and members of the deposed government. In twenty years, most Afghanistanis had developed a liberal approach to life; not to talk of the youthful population who were not exposed to Taliban terror reign of the past. It is tiring having to explain the same things to people who see Mudlims from a single story prism if I am permitted to borrow that expression from Chimamanda Adichie. Islam is a religion with rules and guidance. It is the Mislims who differ. It is the differences you see in the manner the rules and guidance are understood and practised. The world that we see Talibans harbours the UAE, Qatar, Turkey, and many more. To use incidences as that of the Talibans to portray all Mudlims is the single story Chimamanda spoke about. It is called Prejudice simply. Yoruba Muslims and all moderate ones round the world know their faith and the actions of few extremists round the world cannot affect their belief. History shows no faith is immune from extremism. If it happened 1000 years ago, it can be happen again. uote author=Mokason288 post=104875442]Why are Muslims running away from Muslims? Family / Re: MY Experience With Very Stingy Parents.... Share Yours... by Kinikini: 3:28pm On Jul 17, 2021 |
Your parents actually love you very much and want you to appreciate you are privilege and by so doing, learn to work hard to become successful. Children do have an entitlement mentality this day and it leads to failure. A parent only has to provide you the necessary things , not luxuries anyway. I know a man who became very appreciative of his parents years after the hard training. Upon graduation in UK the father ordered him out of the house. He had to go get his apartment and the bills made him work hard. In a matter of a short time, he bought his house and continued to prosper. He then realised that his friends whose parents continued to accommodate didn't have a house of theirs years after he had. Then he realised the father only pushed him to grow up and build his life. Your reaction to your parents is solely yours and it will determine if you learn the lesson expected or not Just like it will determine your outcome. uote author=TOTOnigga post=103791830]Hello guys.... I don't just know.. Is it just me or is there anything I don't understand......my parents are rich people especially my dad, I know that for sure... someone paying #950,000 naira per year as school fees for me aside other expenses, plus multiple houses and lands I can't even keep count of.... How come they are this stingy? There is no time I would ask them for money for my own personal well being or any of my personal needs that they would like to assist me. I once ask mum for #12,000 naira just to buy a fairly used android phone (when I know they can even afford me an iPhone x) but she told me I should wait till months end before she gives me saying there is no money on ground... it's five months now and still nothing (not waiting for it though)... Then I ask my dad, he told me I don't need an android phone... telling me that phone makes people unserious and other types of bulls*it( a 19 year old student for that matter) Any expenses that is not book or academic related is not important...my parents would rather buy clothes for me than give me money to buy clothes... sometimes I end up not wearing some of them.. The funniest part is that, anytime I take any urgent lie(Asin scam) about any payment in school...they wouldn't Waits a second to send it to me... This has got me telling all sorts of lies just to get what I know can be gotten honestly.. It has even gotten to the point that any money that enters my hand now, I use it to play sports betting to see if I can get enough money for what I need, but I end up loosing the money...I am just frustrated.. someone time I wish I didn't even have rich parents cos what's the point...[/quote] |
