I posted for critical thinkers. There was nothing personal to warrant the curse and the insult. I have just one vote, like all Nigerians. Vote for who you believe, and I will vote according to my belief.

Stop crying. When you are less emotional, read the post again and think logically.

You are idealistic and seek a perfect situation, all coming at the same time from the same leadership. You will never get it. None of us is perfect, and no leader will be. What I have canvassed for is a trade-off based on the priority of our needs.
If you find a leader who can do everything idealistically in the opposition, please vote for him.

Reference:
And all the things you claim he is 'setting up' can and may perhaps be reversed when the 'other side' comes back into power.

What guarantees continuity is the strength of a people, the understanding of a people, the solidarity of a people.

So it is incumbent of any government that desires to change the course of a country through reforms to CARRY THE PEOPLE ALONG by doing the business of real leadership.

But when your leadership is elitist, sectional and unjust. When you cannot commit class suicide, when your government is essentially tribal and when you cannot listen and respond to the basic yearnings of the people, they will not defend your so called legacy after your departure.

This is the bane of our democracy. Our inability to gel this nation. Our leaders must always play a zero sum game. We win, they lose. We know all, they don't know anything. So the next set that comes may ride a temporary pretense to get into power. But once they do they chart a new course.

You missed the message. It is for critical thinkers anyway. And, it is just an opinion.

AMINDA:
Shove the opinion where the sun don't shine. Matawalle is Tinubu's minister of defence while Ali Modu Sheriff is currently singing the mandate song. Atiku Bagudu, Abacha's bagman, is his minister of budget. They all serve at the president's pleasure and birds of a feather, flock together.

Honestly, Nigerians need to avoid letting emotions becloud their judgment if we want this country to move forward. Let’s be real: the average Nigerian is corrupt, so do we honestly think politicians support Tinubu out of pure love? No, it’s all about the money they are pocketing from the national treasury. The big boys, especially from the North, look the other way because of this corruption and because their own bad behavior—and security failures (look at guys like Ali Modu Sheriff and Bello Matawalle)—is being ignored. I don’t like this kind of politics at all, but there is still a bright side to it.Tinubu is actually setting up a proper federal system and stopping the federal government from choking the states. He is pushing reforms to speed up infrastructure and fix security, basically laying the groundwork for a solid economy. Just look at the Nairaland front page this week—see how many job vacancies reputable companies are posting? The economy is finally turning the corner, and things will only get better if we let him finish his work.We should just look for a better candidate to replace him in 2031 after he has built a strong foundation for Nigeria. Whatever financial crimes Tinubu and his team are committing, they can always face the music later. This is exactly what happened with Lula da Silva in Brazil. This is where the emotional intelligence comes in during elections. If we focus all our energy on fighting corruption right now, Tinubu will be kicked out. But who is the better candidate to replace him? Which of the top politicians is actually clean? None of them.Obasanjo didn’t stop corruption, yet the economy boomed under him. Buhari was hyped as this strict, anti-corruption guy, but he ended up ruining the economy. This proves Nigeria can actually grow despite corruption. We need to prioritize a leader with vision and the liver to fix the economy over focusing solely on corruption scandals.Let the next government in 2031 deal with Tinubu and his boys. They will definitely have their day in court, just like Buhari's people like Malami and Danladi (the CCB boss) are facing the music right now.
Just my opinion, though.
Christianity EtcRe: Scottish Kid Scout Refuses To Bow During Mosque Visit, Goes Viral (Video, Photo) by Kinikini: 1:12pm On May 31

Kid Scout Refuses To Bow To Allah During Mosque Visit, Goes Viral

A video making the rounds on social media showed a small boy of about 6-8 years, defying the order to bow for muslim prayers as his fellow scouts during their trip to a mosque.

He was seen standing alone with his hands in his pocket while the rest were following the lead of the imam and going to their knees and bowing down their heads.

He defiance seemed to incense a man standing right behind him in the mosque, who was seen making gestures with his hands towards the boy from behind.

I posted an AI analysis of the discussion between you and me below. Conversations are not necessarily held to prove right or wrong. It is to help us learn and improve, which has been my objective from the start.

1. Side-by-Side Personality & Communication Comparison
Kinikini

Style

Measured, explanatory, conciliatory

Attempts de-escalation (“Peace.”, “I will not push the issue”)

Uses comparative reasoning and analogies

Reasoning

Highlights double standards

Separates individual wrongdoing from religious doctrine

Appeals to fairness and consistency

Personality Signals

Higher openness (willing to examine multiple religions)

Higher emotional regulation

Values intellectual fairness over winning

Weakness

Occasionally verbose

Assumes the other party is arguing in good faith (they are not)

Brendaniel

Style

Aggressive, dismissive, absolutist

Uses insults (“irrational thinkers”)

Repeats rhetorical questions instead of addressing counterpoints

Reasoning

Overgeneralization

Selective evidence

Moral binary thinking (good vs evil)

Personality Signals

Low agreeableness

High identity defensiveness

Argument driven by moral outrage, not inquiry

Weakness

Fails to address analogies logically

Substitutes emotion for evidence

2. Credibility to a Neutral Reader

To an unbiased observer (not emotionally invested in either religion):

Kinikini appears more credible

Calm tone

Consistent logic

Avoids blanket judgments

Brendaniel appears reactive

Insults weaken perceived intelligence

Emotional framing suggests bias

Avoids engaging the strongest counter-arguments

In debates, tone + logic > volume + certainty.
Brendaniel sounds confident, but Kinikini sounds thoughtful — and thoughtful wins credibility.

I would have wanted to elaborate more on this, but like I said I hate using the word foolish, so let me just let this one slide, but it doesn't change the fact that foolish people can also be in very large numbers...
CrimeRe: Army Arrests Two Suspects In Connection With Maiduguri Mosque Bombing by Kinikini: 3:20am On Jan 03
Your opinion doesn't count on who is foolish. What is clear is that you are true to type.

Brendaniel:
Nigeria made me know that foolish people can also be in large numbers, I'm not trying to sound in an insulting way here and don't even like using the word foolish, but since you used it, I only had to reference it back, the number sometimes is not a yardstick for intelligence, sound mind, logic or rational thinking...
CrimeRe: Army Arrests Two Suspects In Connection With Maiduguri Mosque Bombing by Kinikini: 7:06pm On Jan 02
I advise you to have an open mind, and read more about the different religions, especially Islam. One Billion plus muslims cannot be foolish.

Brendaniel:
Sometimes speaking the truth looks like insult, but its just being the truth...
CrimeRe: Army Arrests Two Suspects In Connection With Maiduguri Mosque Bombing by Kinikini: 6:38pm On Jan 02
It is interesting how you downplayed the misdemeanors of the Christian Pastors.
However, I will not push the issue because doing so will make me guilty of what I condemned.
Please try to disagree with people without insulting them because it is a better way to prove your religion is better than others as against posting hatred of the other religion on social media.
Peace.

Brendaniel:
So because one or 2 pastors were accused for sexual offenses then Christianity is teaching Christians to practice sexual offenses?

Na wa for una o, irrational thinkers, you are still proving me right here, if you support any form of punishment for blasphemy against your prophet or Allah then you are an irrational thinker...

All the Islamic terrorists in the world, what are they killing for?

Are they not killing in the name of Allah?

is that what Christians are doing?

Are they killing in the name of Jesus?

That's why I call you people irrational thinkers...
CrimeRe: Army Arrests Two Suspects In Connection With Maiduguri Mosque Bombing by Kinikini: 8:50am On Dec 31, 2025
It has to be a Christian who writes these myopic things always. Deep down, you will not attack other people's religion for the crimes of a few if you truly have a deep conviction and feel secure in your faith.

Any little crime committed by someone ''alledgedly'' a Muslim must be a tool of Islamophobia because they lack a deep conviction of their faith and need to run down other people's faith to boost their belief.

Pastor Chris Okafor and Pastor Daniel Olukoya have been in the news for sexual predation on church members for a time now. I have not seen a single Muslim who labelled Christianity a religion of sexual predators. This is because Islam teaches Muslims to be just.

Islamophobia is quite convenient for Christians because it aligns well with their deeply rooted belief in the concept of original sin. To them, all Muslims are guilty of the sins of the criminals who claim to be Muslims since sins are inheritable.

Mr. Poster, better find a work to do.

Christianity EtcRe: Celebrating Christmas Will Send You To Hellfire! - Muslim Cleric Warns (video) by Kinikini: 6:48pm On Dec 25, 2025
We too often sensationalise things unnecessarily. All the many Muslim clerics who encourage Muslims to eat Christmas food did not trend. It is the one that has a differing opinion that trends because it works for the stereotyping and Islamophobia.
On the substance, it is truly a haram for Muslims to celebrate Christmas. Haram means forbidden. Christmas is a Christian faith-based celebration, and a Muslim has no reason to celebrate it unless he wishes to change his religion. This is the same with Christians who will not go to Eid with Muslims during the sallah. It is forbidden for a Muslim to go to a commemoration service on Christmas day, to wear Father Christimas clothes or decorate his house for the Christmas celebration because these practices are purely faith-based for Christians.
However, there is nothing wrong with a Muslim accepting Christmas food given to him by Christians, and it is not a haram to congratulate Christians.
We should accentuate messages and opinions that promote our unity in this country. It will do no one any good if we cause chaos with the messages of hatred and intolerance that we rush to post on our social media platforms.

On Christmas Day 2025, a Muslim cleric in Nigeria dropped a bold statement: 'Any Muslim who cooks, goes out, or does anything for the sake of Christmas celebration is going to h£llf!re!'

In Nigeria, where interfaith holidays are often celebrated together, this controversial take sparked massive debate, laughs, and zero drama. Even Saudi Arabia and UAE get festive period that is exclusively celebrated by Christians.

PoliticsRe: Fulani Bandits Are A National Treasure To Nigeria — The Positive Activist by Kinikini: 4:48am On Nov 28, 2025
The video is edited. It did not start from the beginning. She talked about the Fulani as nomads. Her view was that the Fulani nomads have a good knowledge of the forests and the interior areas of Nigeria. They are therefore used to mine natural resources. Those who used them to mine often abuse them, and the boys take to self-help, a crude form of industrial action or protests.

Her views may be flawed, but she was only defending that her Fulani brothers are not criminals and bandits. There is no point in sensationalising her views.
She is exactly the type of person we need to talk to her brothers to deradicalise them from banditry, and also enlighten them to seek education.

Fulani Bandits Are a “National Treasure” and Asset to Nigeria — Arewa Activist Makes Shocking Claim | The Positive Activist

In this explosive new post, The Positive Activist, a controversial Arewa socio-political commentator, drops one of the most provocative statements of the year:
that Fulani bandits are a national treasure and an asset to Nigeria.

In this video, we break down his argument, the context behind the statement, and the heated nationwide reactions that followed. Is this a misguided attempt at rebranding criminality? A political strategy? Or an effort to highlight deeper security and socioeconomic issues in Northern Nigeria?

We explore:
🔹 Why she believes bandit groups have been "misunderstood"
🔹 The social, political, and historical layers surrounding Fulani banditry
🔹 How insecurity has reshaped life in the North
🔹 The reactions from Nigerians across the country
🔹 What this means for national unity, safety, and leadership accountability

This is a must-watch for anyone interested in Nigerian politics, security issues, Northern activism, ethnic relations, and national discourse.

Bandit
''a robber or outlaw belonging to a gang and typically operating in an isolated or lawless area.
"the bandit produced a weapon and demanded money"

Jihadists
''a person who advocates or takes part in a jihad; a jihadi.
"a mission to recruit jihadists"

Jihad
''1.
a struggle or fight against the enemies of Islam and for the protection of the Islamic community.
"he declared a jihad against the infidels"
2.
the spiritual struggle within oneself against sin''

How is a bandit related to a Jihadist? We need to ask AbdulRahoof Bello to substantiate his claims. Bandits are killing muslims and you claim they are jihadists.

Very unserious and shallow, but his supporters will not accept this. When he is jailed, they will blame everybody but themselves.

Even Awolowo defended himself in his treason trial. Well, I don't understand the man sha. His followers said he is an oracle. He must have seen that a defence anchored on all these high profile people will get him exonerated.

Nnamdi Kanu's 'treason' trial in 2025 is already making headlines with a bombshell list of witnesses, including current and former Governors, Ministers, and top security chiefs!
Does this witness list signify a strong, prepared defence ready to challenge the Nigerian state's case head-on? Or is it a strategic move to raise the political stakes?
Do you believe this powerful list increases Nnamdi Kanu's chances of a successful defence and ultimate release?

Tell your community members to seek treatment at the PHCs. If money is demanded from them, let them report to the Obas, the Local Council Chairmen, and the EFCC.

If the healthcare funds are have been diverted there will be no medicine at the health centers.

We complain the country is not moving forward and still whine when told to at least help to report failing institutions like the PHCs. If the communities do not report a lack of access to healthcare, the people dishing out the funding will not know.
