What a logic. What are her statistics? How many married women responded to her questionnaire? The marriage institution is been attacked left, right and centre. Yet, marriage is the foundation of the family, and family the foundation of a nation. Sex is no excuse for a martied woman to cheat. Married women who cheat have either been amateur or professional runs girl and it is only natural to continue after marriage with or without an excuse. The decision is that of men anyway. Marry good women, not the BBN types. The regret for a troubled marriage is life long. uote author=viviangist post=105373968]Relationship expert, Blessing Okoro is of the opinion that a lot of married women are sex-starved by their husbands and this makes them cheat. Home grown dissent is needed to end the Talibans' oppressive reign. quote author=jchioma post=104885418]It's sad, and I really pity the innocent people of Afghanistan, but that's the reality. Power has changed hands and along with it comes CHANGE. I think it's a misconception to think that the whole of the country wants Islamic rule. There are dissents, supporters and members of the deposed government. In twenty years, most Afghanistanis had developed a liberal approach to life; not to talk of the youthful population who were not exposed to Taliban terror reign of the past. These people cannot feel secured in a Taliban run government, despite assurances to the contrary. They will want to seek every means to escape.
It is tiring having to explain the same things to people who see Mudlims from a single story prism if I am permitted to borrow that expression from Chimamanda Adichie. Islam is a religion with rules and guidance. It is the Mislims who differ. It is the differences you see in the manner the rules and guidance are understood and practised. The world that we see Talibans harbours the UAE, Qatar, Turkey, and many more. To use incidences as that of the Talibans to portray all Mudlims is the single story Chimamanda spoke about. It is called Prejudice simply. Yoruba Muslims and all moderate ones round the world know their faith and the actions of few extremists round the world cannot affect their belief. History shows no faith is immune from extremism. If it happened 1000 years ago, it can be happen again. uote author=Mokason288 post=104875442]Why are Muslims running away from Muslims? Your parents actually love you very much and want you to appreciate you are privilege and by so doing, learn to work hard to become successful. Children do have an entitlement mentality this day and it leads to failure. A parent only has to provide you the necessary things , not luxuries anyway. I know a man who became very appreciative of his parents years after the hard training. Upon graduation in UK the father ordered him out of the house. He had to go get his apartment and the bills made him work hard. In a matter of a short time, he bought his house and continued to prosper. He then realised that his friends whose parents continued to accommodate didn't have a house of theirs years after he had. Then he realised the father only pushed him to grow up and build his life. Your reaction to your parents is solely yours and it will determine if you learn the lesson expected or not Just like it will determine your outcome. uote author=TOTOnigga post=103791830]Hello guys.... I don't just know.. Is it just me or is there anything I don't understand......my parents are rich people especially my dad, I know that for sure... someone paying #950,000 naira per year as school fees for me aside other expenses, plus multiple houses and lands I can't even keep count of.... How come they are this stingy? There is no time I would ask them for money for my own personal well being or any of my personal needs that they would like to assist me. I once ask mum for #12,000 naira just to buy a fairly used android phone (when I know they can even afford me an iPhone x) but she told me I should wait till months end before she gives me saying there is no money on ground... it's five months now and still nothing (not waiting for it though)... Then I ask my dad, he told me I don't need an android phone... telling me that phone makes people unserious and other types of bulls*it( a 19 year old student for that matter) Any expenses that is not book or academic related is not important...my parents would rather buy clothes for me than give me money to buy clothes... sometimes I end up not wearing some of them.. The funniest part is that, anytime I take any urgent lie(Asin scam) about any payment in school...they wouldn't Waits a second to send it to me... This has got me telling all sorts of lies just to get what I know can be gotten honestly.. It has even gotten to the point that any money that enters my hand now, I use it to play sports betting to see if I can get enough money for what I need, but I end up loosing the money...I am just frustrated.. someone time I wish I didn't even have rich parents cos what's the point...
A cursing wife is the worst form of woman. Someday, the curse will afflict you unless she stops. It is not your duty to make her control herself but her sole responsibility. Not all children from broken homes are damaged but those the mum poisons the children against all men for the failure of the marriage. Such children see their men from the perception of their mum. If she doesn't stop cursing you, better let her relive her mother's experience. Curse actually runs in some family. What happens to the mum, happens to the offsprings. Pecoleee345: |

I had an encounter with these guys this afternoon at the entry of Hakeem Dickson to Lekki Phase One. I was driving a private company bus with the company products. I was to pass through Lekki One to link the Lekki Ikoyi Bridge to avoid congestion further out on Lekki Epe Expressway. These guys just sprang out from nowhere and demanded the payment of a levy to allow me drive through Hakeem Dickson because I carried a load. They claimed they are agents of Eti-Osa Local Government. I informed them I have obtained the local government annual permit which includes the loading and off loading permit and that I do not understand why I have to pay to pass through Lekki. I was harassed by these guys and I had to detour to another route. Has anyone had an encounter with these guys and are they agents or employees of Eti-Osa? They are not in any uniform and look more like touts to me. Just thinking any one who works at the local government would see this post and act appropriately. |

Let the Arewa Youth lead by example by urgently evacuating all Northerners in the SW to the North within 72 hours. The North truly has some daft people in some sensitive position. If you must call a people to leave your region, you must also take your people from the region you have disowned. This bravado by the North will lead to their peril and their great grandchildren will pay the price. They have held Nigeria and its resources by the jugular for over 50 years, yet have not developed their people educationally, mentally and economically other than to steal from the government coffers. If Nigeria scatters, the North will become like Chad and Niger and they will know they wasted the opportunity they have. UmuEri: |

Mechanics are the worst set of artisans . It is no wonder their lives continue to be impoverished. Just when you trust them with your car, they hit you hard. No matter how much you pay them for labour, they must steal or cheat on parts. So pathetic. uote author=HottieCoach post=99951169]A catalytic converter is a device incorporated in the exhaust system of a motor vehicle, containing a catalyst for converting pollutant gases into less harmful ones. This device had been available in vehicles since the 1970's The catalyst's job is to speed up the removal of pollution. The catalyst is made from platinum or a similar, platinum-like metal such as palladium or rhodium. A catalytic converter is a large metal box, bolted to the underside of your car, that has two pipes coming out of it. The catalytic converter is very valuable because of the precious metals that are included in the converter, such as platinum, or platinum-like material such as palladium or rhodium. So, the more expensive the material, the more expensive it is to replace. Due to the fall of the naira and a rise in the cost of precious metals like platinum and palladium, the contents of the catalytic converter is highly sort after. The parts have become an unusual windfall for thieves, who can make hundreds of naira from selling them to auto parts suppliers or scrapyards. Catalytic converters can be melted and the highly valuable metals, like palladium and rhodium, extracted. At present a typical 2003-2018 Toyota Corolla catalytic converter (its content) can fetch between ₦100,000 -150,000. How to prevent catalytic converter theft. 1 Do not leave your vehicle unattended with your roadside technician. 2. If you do, tell him bluntly that you have your catalytic converter intact and it should not go missing . 3. If for any reason you have catalytic converter failure and it has to be unblocked , collect all the contents, tie it up in a bag and contact me I'll show you where to sell it for good money
