Boko Haram militants Thursday evening attacked Chibok town in Borno state. The insurgents abducted over 200 schoolgirls in April from the community and are yet to be released.

Chairman of Chibok Community in Abuja, Sambido Hosea Bana, who confirmed the incident to Daily Trust said members of Boko Haram fleeing from Vigilantes' attack in Mubi had captured seven Chibok villagers who had gone to Askira to make phone calls.

Mr Bana said by evening, the militants had made it to Chibok, about 80 kilometers from Mubi. After Boko Haram fighters entered the town, most villagers fled for dear lives, he said.

He, however said the casualty figure and extent of damage done in the town was yet uncertain as those who spoke to him about the Boko Haram's second attack on Chibok did so after fleeing the town.

Buhari introduced war against Indiscipline that swept through all the country and restored discipline in Nigeria. Buhari did not promote himself to a full start general even as a head of state. Buhari did not have any foreign account or buy any property for himself as a head of state.

What else do Nigerians need? What is happening today? Why are we allowing sentiments and religious bigotry to hold our country to ransom. It is Nigeria that need Buhari and not Buhari that need Nigeria.

It is also high time our government start investing heavily in Research and Development. Who says we cant build our own weapons?

South Africa has nuclear weapon, North Korea that is far poorer than Nigeria has good weapons development programs. What are we still waiting for

Money being spent on pilgrimage, should be diverted into Research and Development, In technology and medicine. Of what national benefit is the pilgrimage our government spends billions on, sending thousands of people to Mecca and Jerusalem.

How can a country be so blessed and rich as Nigeria and we cant invest in weapons developments, then why do we have so many first class engineers in the first place?

I was at the Airforce Industries, Kaduna about 4 years ago. Honestly things are still archaic there. We are not at par with this decade at all.

USA is world power today, because they invested in research and development not sponsoring their people on pilgrimage to mecca and jerusalem.

altho am a christian i totally agree with you. Pilgrimage does no one any good. It dosen't even assure you a way to heaven. Most of our politicians going on pilgrimage already booked a space in hell thats quite hot.

Invest in research, even though we are Africa's biggest economy, is quite obvious we don't measure with the likes of south africa and egypt.
