Parents are currently causing an uproar over school managements refusing them to take their kids home. Nyesom Wike just called all students back to school saying they have sent security personnels to protect the kids from all illegal vaccinations.

Just now I was at home laying down next thing I noticed was my sisters were home, so I asked why they were home so early only for them to tell me that some people came to their school to give immunization forcifuly. My younger sister was at the primary section where the immunization started from. From what they told me (I attended the school last year also) they said parents almost fought the principal because she wouldn't let them take their kids home, all my sister are currently crying due to fear. This is happening live at The Nobles Academy, Port Harcourt, Rivers State.
I don't know what this country is turning into.
When I saw this on several blogs I doubted but this one is currently happening at my former school and almost happened to my siblings.

One Itakpom Wadda from Edo state has been arrested by Kano state police command for buying children for N20, 000 in the state. According to reports, the suspect was arrested after she bought a child from a prostitute that recently gave birth to a baby in the Sabon Gari area of Kano state.

The police got a tip-off about the transaction and she was immediately arrested. When she was interrogated, she said she bought the baby for a couple in Port Harcourt, Rivers state who were in need of a child. The suspect and the prostitute alongside one other person are now in police custody.

Mary Torkwase Antom, A retiree, 58, from Tse Baraku in Benue State, took a bold step to immortalize her late husband and late son’s names by marrying a 27-year-old lady.

She and her husband, Patrick, a retiree of the Federal Ministry of Agriculture, were blessed with only one child, Thomas Awuhe, who died in 2004 while he was just in SS2. A year later, her husband also died.

So she made the move to secure not only the family name but also its property. A friend later told her about a pretty young unmarried lady, Juliet Muese, who was on the verge of being disowned by her parents over her inability to identify the person responsible for her pregnancy

Mrs. Antom then sought Juliet’s hand in marriage for her dead son, in keeping with Tiv tradition. The parents of Juliet also readily agreed. “What I did is a well-known practice in our place and culture,” she said in defence.

“There are a lot of children, almost 18% of them born after their father’s death. These children answer their father’s name.” The marriage that took place in 2007, has produced two boys with the third child on the way.

“Juliet is comfortable answering my son’s name. She wrote JAMB and I’m processing her admission to the Federal University, Lafia,” she said,

On her part, Juliet says: “I have no problem, in fact I’m doing better than those who got married to living husbands. Hajia is planning to buy a car for me next year if I secure a university admission.

As you can see, I’m looking sweet and people toast me a lot, but I shun them. At the moment, I have a boyfriend who is a student at the state university, Keffi. My second son’s biological father who is a student at Keffi is married.

He is equally responsible for this very one l’m carrying, but he cannot come and claim them. So, there is no problem. I’m good to go.”

Some hours after Tanzanian singer, Diamond Platinumz was sued by his babymama Hamisa Mobetto for child support and his main partner, Zari Hassan unfollowed and deleted pictures of him from her Instagram page, Diamond has told his critics to stop meddling in his private life.


Diamond Platinumz took to his Instagram page to show his anger at waking up every day to new stories about his controversial love life.
In a strong-worded Instagram post, Diamond made it clear that he will be the first person to inform his fans when his relationship with the mother of his two children is over. Adding that after all, he is only 28 years old and not legally married to anyone.

Mobetto sued Diamond Platinumz for defamatory comments he made about her in a live radio interview on Clouds FM when he broke the news that he had fathered a son with the model behind Zari’s back.

The British government has ask the Nigerian federal government to find out the status and whereabouts of the leader of the indigenous people of biafra, Nnamdi kanu.
The British government revealed it had asked the Nigerian government if the British citizen was still alive or perhaps dead. However it's not yet known if the Nigerian government had given an answer to the query.

The Press Officer, UK high commission in Nigeria, Joe Abuku, stated that the inquiry followed reports that Kanu had been missing since September 14, 2017 when armed soldiers stormed his residence in Abia State.

Abuku said this in response to questions from Saturday PUNCH seeking to know UK’s concern on the missing IPOB leader.

“We are seeking urgent clarification from the Nigerian authorities about the status and whereabouts of Mr. Kanu, a British citizen, who has been reported missing since September 14,” Abuku stated in an email on Thursday.

When asked if the UK would strip Kanu of citizenship on account of the declaration by Nigeria that he was the leader of a terrorist organisation, the mission said it does not comment on individual cases.

“One of the conditions that can make the United Kingdom strip its citizen of nationality is if the person engages in a terrorist activity at home or abroad. And Kanu has dual citizenship and therefore a citizen of Nigeria and the UK,” the mission stated.

When asked if the UK supported the Nigerian government’s declaration of the IPOB a terrorist organization, Abuku stated that the group was not a terrorist organisation under the British law.

“The Indigenous People of Biafra is not a dangerous organisation in the UK,” the mission spokesperson stressed.

However, when asked if the group was free to raise funds or hold rallies in Britain, Abuku said he would need to get an official response on that, but subsequently declined to respond to the question.

He also declined comment on whether the IPOB might be declared a terrorist organization by the British authorities.

Abuku said, “We do not routinely comment on whether an organisation is or is not under consideration for blacklist. A decision to blacklist an organisation must be based on a belief that it is concerned in terrorism as defined in the Terrorism Act 2000, and it must be proportionate.”

The United States had earlier said it did not consider IPOB a terrorist organization and urged Nigerians to reduce tension and embrace non-violent methods of resolving their issues

Spokesperson for the American Embassy in Nigeria, Russell Brooks, had said, “Within the context of unity, we encourage all Nigerians to support a decrease in tension and peaceful method of resolving their issues. The Indigenous People of Biafra is not a terrorist organisation under the US law.”
