not true. several previous legitimate buyers here later turned to be fraud. I've been on nairaland for 10yrs. inspired in auto section was the king of pre order. when fraudsters liked German 007 were being called out it was inspired that was like the tabbaz of auto section then till he defrauded many others. trade with caution with everybody. no legitimate buyer

True that. Every trade is a risk, legit buyer or not and every trader is legit until scam arises.

You are responsible for your money. It just pays to trade with someone with a good track record here than those with fantastical prices without a track record. It's called calculated risk. But there's still risks involved.

I won't trade $100k worth of BTC with a 'legit' trader who has prolly not handled that kinda amount just cos. Who knows if that's the kind of cash he is looking for to relocate to Bahamas...Just saying.

In e-currency trading many scenarios could arise that is tantamount to Scam. Just as OP puskin mentioned in the first post on this thread. Trade at your own risk.

I will try to summarise my ordeal.

I have like 6 PayPal accounts.

the last 3 were opened within this month Nd last month.

the first PayPal account had over $900, it in 6 months jail

the 2nd has $170+.
it limited.
the 3rd has 150+.
it not limited but not sending out.
it showing error massage, that I should contact PayPal.
the fourth has $30.
it limited, I was able to send once with that.
these fourth PayPal has a dedicated US IP.
one IP.
I bought a VPS, virtual private server. just CU's of this account still.

now, I am stock.
I need to call PayPal, can anyone help.
I can't call with naija phone number,
I don't just know what to do.

As per the error in the pic. There is a way around it. Log out of your PayPal account on all devices and download the latest version of Internet explorer on your PC (don't use a mobile device). Or if your have internet explorer on the PC you are currently using, delete internet history, clear browsing data, clear cookies,plugins and passwords better still restore to default like you just downloaded the browser. Restart your PC then log in to your PayPal account and effect your transaction. If you have more than one PayPal account, log off and repeat the process but make sure the ip address is different. Lemme know if this works

Seconded. I think BTC ads on this thread should include the value in bitcoin. Afterall it's Bitcoin being sold not USD. There's almost always disparity between blockchain and preev rates. Buyers could get shortchanged

My own review was actually the one you see there on top where I mentioned 450k reversed, that's the equivalent of the $1,200 I mentioned earlier in my lamentation. When I had the transaction with him, his account was actually few hours new and had no single review. Though I was actually wary of how risky it is transacting with newly created accounts, I went ahead and did it anyway because my thought was that reversal of transactions is not that possible with Nigerian banks.

I've learnt another lesson now anyway, though the hard way.

I sympathise with you. You just witnessed the only condition that make funds transfer reversible in Naija - fraud. Your bank may not even inform you of the reversal. You should have just listened to your first instincts when you saw the red flags. All that doesn't matter now.

No matter the number of positive reviews. It's always safer to deal with traders on LBC whose ID, Passport or Driver’s license is verified and real names visible when you open the trade (there's no point for anonymity if I'm about get your bank details anyway). Unfortunately, LBC's real name policy is wankain. I pray you get your funds back. Please update us on your progress and thanks for coming out with this

They have updated their policy. You can use Nigerian cards now to deposit and withdraw but cash deposits and withdrawals via domiciliary accounts aren't allowed for now
