Seriously, its so annoying, this visa application is just a waste of time to me, cos why should it be taking 4months before a decision is made on an application
I am also thinking maybe it's taking them time to check the authenticity of your bank details ( if you have more than one source of prove of fund ) but even at that , 4 months is damn too much.

When is your resumption sir ?

I'm damn fed up of this Canadian study permit, its now 16weeks now that I applied, there hasn't been any update on my timeline apart from biometric completed.
I applied online on 15th February and did my biometric the next day(16th February). I'm fed up, fed up. I should've opted for European study permit instead of this wasting time Canadian visa
Omg, really ?

Kishkosh,

You won't be able to see the result of your upfront medicals until you apply for visa. An E-medical slip will be issued to you by the hospital where you completed the medicals, of which you're expected to include this slip with your application. The Visa officer will then use the UMI number that is located at the beneath of the medical slip to track the medical result and upload it on your CIC account whenever you have submitted your application.
God bless you for the swift and detailed response sir

Kishkosh,

From experience, presenting to the embassy that you work and earn salary every month end. It will expected of you to present a paystubs from your employer and a salary bank statement to evident that you're truly paid into your account at every month end. It's not a rule that it must be a transfer, salaries can be paid by deposit into an employee account using the company name as the depositor. In your case where you work for a close relative (Uncle), you have to explain on your SOP that your current employer, who happens to be your uncle pays salaries by cash (seal envelope) of which you have some savings in your account (You then present your personal account).
If you do this, no issues will be raised!
Thank you sir

mcobex:
No need for payslip, just explain it on your SOP that its a family business and they give you stipend. You uncle should also state same in his letter of support. But hope he will transfer funds to you or pay your tuition fee before you apply(to show commitment)? Cos it will help your case since he is a third party
Thank you sir
TravelRe: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 14 by Kishkosh: 10:17pm On May 28, 2018
Guys , pls , is it a must to include payslip and or bank transfer from employer as evidence of salary , what if employer state the amount the applicant receives as salary in the employment letter because to be honest, i work with my Uncle and he doesn't really transfer money to me as such, he pays/gives/dash me cash cuz of our cordial relationship. The man is like a father to me.

The main issue there is fund, then home tie. Travel history isn't much of an issue, once you can tackle the first two then travel history will find its way.

Hello great house of intellectuals, please I would like to confirm if there wount be a problem for me for submitting printed copies of Bank statement from a salary account from Santander Bank in USA as he printed them from there himself, as that was what my brother who is my sponsor waybilled to me, though he included original and stamped copy of the reference letter from the Bank stating the total funds in his account..

Secondly is it advisable for your sponsor to use a University letter head paper to write sponsorship letter as my elder brother is a Professor at a recognized university in USA.

Thirdly, have never seen anyone going for an accelerated track Bachelors degree before on this forum,as the admission I was given was a bachelors degree but an accelerated track in which I will complete the program in 2 years in lieu of the standard 4 years, due to the fact that my First degree in engineering was recognized for a second degree.. am scared as I only see masters and PGD student here..

Lastly, my brother being a Professor in a University in USA hope it wount be a red flag for me, as cic might feel why can’t I apply to the UNiversity my brother is lecturing in the USA and why Canada.. is my sponsor legit??

Please I need answers to my questions great men of this house!

And to all TRV hopeful you shall all get it in Jesus name.

Please help a brother!
Well, you can state in your SOP that the US university admission time frame came at a time you were busy with some stuffs. And even at that Canada has always been your choice cuz of its multicultural environment. (US is multi too,but na choice )
Tell them the course module is a perfect match for you.

You can add affordablility as well , that your Canadian school is affordable and yet maintaining standard .

Other experienced gurus can help you better sir.

austinpee4, mcobex , Frankrobbn1 ,bbclue pls help

Pls, i am not in any way doubting the veracity of your posts, but i once heard on this platform that photos are not allowed in paper route application, but i saw in a part of the IMM Questionnaire form that ='' From the individuals providing you financial assistance for your program. The letter
must indicate their employment; their occupation; their relationship to you, their
number of dependants and full contact details. For extended family member
sponsorship please include proof of relationship (such as family tree, photos, proof
of prior financial support of your education to date if applicable, etc).''

i am asking because i want to include photo of my uncle when he attended my graduation as prove that he has been supporting me for my education.

Attorney, you're indirectly objecting what I said! grin Well, from the look of things towards the begining of this year till date, it's rare to get a refusal after being asked to go for medicals.
@Frankrobbn1, pls how do i prove relationship of my mom and her brother when both of them don't have birth certificate, i am thinking i should do another birth certificate for them both or affidavit, pls help...my uncle (mom's brother) intends to be my sponsor.

thank you as i await your response

@KISHKOSH;
1. Use the bank with enough fund, but if you feel like adding the gtbank account then no problem(but its not a must).
2. Pictures aren't accepted(for paper route), a letter of support fromhim stating he has been helping you out with your studies and other things will do, also you should state it boldly in your SOP as well.
3. Family tree isn't compulsory as well, but if you can then no qualms. But another way you can show relationship is getting your mum's birth cert and that of your uncle or his international passport(with your mum and him having same surname). Even at that you and your uncle will still state it in your SOP and letter of support respectively.
4. Submit all your accounts statements(as long as you have money in it, no matter how small).
NB: Make sure your uncle state the exact amount he will be contributing to your studies in his letter of support and IF POSSIBLE LET HIM TRANSFER THE SAID AMOUNT INTO YOUR BANK ACCOUNT OR PAY TO YOUR SCHOOL to show commitment, since he is a third party(the instruction in CAPs is my sincere advise).
God bless you sir .

What exactly do you want to know bro? I haven't been following your case
@Austinpee4 , @mcobex and other gurus, plus help me out

I have an uncle I work in his office who wants to be my sponsor . He has been responsible for my education for the past 15 years , and he pays my salary from his GTB account cuz of the easy USSD mobile banking option it has. But I intend to use his other bank account for sponsorship details cuz that's where his major transactions are.
Now , I want to ask that should I present his GTB account details as well to show that he has been paying me salary or just letter of introduction stating that I work in his company is enough.

Secondly , I have some pictures where my uncle was present in my convocation , can I show this as well to buttress the fact that he's been my guardian from time immemorial ?

Number 3, This my uncle is my mother's brother , do I need to draw any family chart or I should just say in my SOP that he's my mom's brother and present my mom's birth cert ,

And lastly , should I present my bank statement of last six month that has just little balance in addition to my newly opened fixed deposit account(which contain about 15m ) ? Or just the fixed deposit is sufficient .

Pardon my long post pls, my question seems peculiar as I couldn't get some ting similar in previous posts . Thanks
