Now, the bolded indicates misery and so, ones misery tend to form the basis of some people's joy, they feel relaxed and comfortable to know all is not well with you. So, the moment they see that the misery has ended, it also ends the source of their joy from you, hence the bitterness she is displaying.

Op, two things are involved here, it is either pride or she is depressed.

Proud people always feel they are the ones to move others and not the other way round.

If it is depression, it makes the patient lose sense of humour and interest in almost every thing.

That been said, it doesn't mean you should push her off rather find out the reason and see what you can do about it. Hopefully, she might change. Not having sense of humour is not a good one at all.
