they better reconsider their stand b4 is 2late. If they wont 2sell their land 2fulani heardmens, they shld give their price. But saying they wont give land 2fulani is a wrong idea, because ibomem and women are also in other people land lookin 4 dia dailybread. Imagine D socalled anambra professional league, whom themselve reside in lagos, coming home to tell d assembly not 2pass d bill. they shld no that, ibo are also migrant.
Igbo men who are migrants accordeing to you contribute to the developement of the states where they reside. They pay taxes, build houses & even build & maintain markets. Now tell me; what do fulani herdsmen contribute to the states where they graze.
You should know that owners of those cows are not the herdsmen but the politicians & business men of the north extraction.
Also know that the markets & shops Igbo people use are not established by law therefore they can be chased out any time by the state government. Establishing grazing field by law means you cant even tell them to go when they dont contribute in anyway to the state‘s development.

Bros just take a walk to Mile 12 in Lagos & go to Alaba or Trade fair in Lagos then compare the Igbo man & Hausa man. Tell me who is needed by states to grow & get better.

yes, thats because thats the picture the present government wants us to see.

Have you asked yourself why all the corruptions cases are no more selling news papers.

Why did this government not able to publish the names of those that returend “looted“ funds?

Why is this government investigating GEJ‘s campaign but looks the other way on how it (APC) got their own fund.

Our president Saint Buhari borrowed money for his presidential nomintion form because he “was“ broke but in the summary of the paper he filled with CCB he has about 33milion naira in his acount.
Sister lets wait until another government decides to “witch hunt“ this government either in 2019 or 2023

Real story of Nigeria? There was a time the video was removed from YouTUBE, don't know if the video is there again.
Nigeria dont want us to know about Biafra & the civil war.
I got to know much about Biafra & the civil war because I grew up in another country. There i came incontact with informations that still bring tears to my eyes 20years after.
It is hurting. My tribe has been accused of many sins against Nigerian nation & all are lies. Noone wants to rewrite the story and tellus the “real“ truth.

I still wonder if there are other tribes in Nigeria that love Nigeria more than Igbo man. Igbo men buy land anywhere they wish in Nigeria and build houses there.
They grow economies of their hosts. But even the richest black man does not have a cement “deport“ anywhere in Igboland. The people that use cement more in Nigeria apart from construction companies are the Igbos in the East.
Because the build so much even in this economic crunch.
My point is this: I love Nigeria & my Igbo brothers love Nigeria. We believe & practice “live & let others live.“
Nigeria should go back to what it was before January 14th 1966 and 89% of our problem as a nation will be over.

History should be told the way it is and true healing will naturaly take place.

Restruction & true federalism is what we NEED.

TrueFederalism I think the challenge ImperialYoruba have here is based on what he was fed over time. I just wished Gowon can really open up & break the oat of secrecy the northern soldeirs entered into before murdering Aguiyi.

Theophilus Danjuma & Gowon owes unborn generation stories of their past. Anyway.

Imagine if we had gone back to what Nigeria used to be till January 15 1966.
I am sure we have more groundnut pyramids & even tomato basket pyramids in the north.
We would have had more cocao and even cofee from the west.
Palm oil & coal would not have been a thing of the past.
Thanks to Northern soldeirs who saw oil and stopped every other thing & set us towards the part of DEATH with mono economy.
I thank Gowon & Murtala they really did very well.
Posterity shall judge all of us all.

NIGERIA MUST BE RESTRUCTURED or in the next 20years we will still be here talking about this.
God forbid sha

ImperialYoruba

This is where Nigeria is not being fair to us the young ones. They deleted history from our story therefore we dont know for sure what our past “is“ like.

1: I dont know where you read that it was Easterners that said Ironsi should be called Supreme Commander.
2: Aguiyi Ironsi was already a General & therefore highest ranked Nigerian military officer then.
3: Ojukwu & Gowon are of the same rank, and it is not done in the military for someone that have the same rank with you to be ur supreme commander.
4: Ojukwu & Gowon were not part of the coup of January 15 that brought them to power. Both came to government by providence.
5: Ojukwu has moral ground to ask Ogundipe who was the most ranked officer to take over government because that was exactly how Aguiyi came into power. Because Aguiyi was not part of Nzeogwu‘s coup, he found himself there after the coup was foiled because he was the most ranked officer.
6: The leader of January 15 coup Major Nzeogwu was not an Easterner he is from Mid-West & most of the ranks & file that took part in that failed coup were from Midwest (today‘s Delta & Edo).
7: Dont you see what Ojukwu was fighting against what kills you and i today. Is our military not corrupt & weak because they have been more politisezd?
8: Gowon and his friends tagged a coup led by someone from Mid-Western Nigeria Igbo coup & went ahead to kill Easterners. Leaving the people that killed their man to fight someone else because they dont like their presence in their place.

Note: that in today‘s Nigeria, you and your Yoruba media brothers tell An Igbo man from River & Delta state that he is not Igbo. But in 1966 you people called the same man Igbo so that you can have enough evidence to kill an Igbo man from the East.

Finally: Americans talks about their civil war. They make movies from it. Their children learn from it. But here in Nigeria. The Hausa & Yoruba man hide our history from us. Gowon & other past military governments made sure that we dont have a trace of our past.
Thats Too bad.

Its been one full year since Goofluck Jonathan left Aso Rock but even at that his name still rings bell even more it did during his stay at Aso Vila.

GEJ will go down into history as the most celebrated Nigerian president ever.

Buhari & his team of liars, his team of confused men & his team of noise makers keep celebrating him everyday. Thinking they are destroying him.

If GEJ goes anywhere in the world press men makes it their headline cos GOODLUCK JONATHAN is a brand the sells News better & faster than PURE WATER.

If he is boarding or coming out from airplane, photo journalists & paparazis will full the place just like bees around honey comb.

GEJ nobody can pull you down. Na you biko. Peace be unto your GENERATION

Setting the path is important.
In terms of diversification for example, some states like Lagos, Ogun, Oyo, Osun, Kebbi, Benue, Anambra, Kaduna, are already starting their journeys on this path. While some states will definitely need assistance from the FG to achieve anything resourceful . . . not all states can stand on their own, we might need to collapse some states, maybe . . . a big basket of inputs will be needed to fashion the best way out.

ATM, we are 'technically' in a recession; not the best of times to make such a tight turn, even for the mineral rich states.

Accountability and transparency organs and structures will need to be put in place, hence we might just have chaos
bros we are not coming out of this challenge in 20years coming. The time to save Nigeria is now. Challenges bring the best off people if they are wise. It makes one think outside the box. The bible says “he who looks at the weather will never plant.“

Bros there is no state in Nigeria that can not take care of itself. Every state is blessed with at least one that can put food on their table.
The problem is this: as long as there is still oil money coming from Abuja, they will not look inward.

THE TIME TO SAVE NIGERIA IS NOW OR NEVER!

I respect ikemba ojukwu now than before. He really was a realist and a true leader. I respect the siincerity of mobolajii johnson and wey.
Gowon was somehow iindiifferent.
Hassan kastina seems to be too fast on issues.
I hope we can discuss this issues agaiin as a nation, we cant keep sweeping it under the carpet.
Gowon was that way because he and his co travelers had an agreement which he cant just overlook.
Thats why he was speaking from outside his head.

But what amazed me in all this is that the way about of Aguyi Ironsi wast yet made known. The north was seriously hidding it from the rest.

1. Build bridges across all divides.

2. Get us back on track economically -- that includes a lot of things.

3. Get us on track with diversification.

4. Get us on track with accountability and transparency.

You can't sleep in peace when your neighbors are in pieces, or are hungry.
thank u. I like your thinking now lets look at ur points one by one.

1- how do we build this bridge?
2- how do we bring our economy back on track? What are those things involved?
3- how do we diversfy?
How can this 3things come into place when one man calls the shot?
How can we diversfy when every state is waiting to collect from Abuja every month?

4- accountabilty & transparency have different meaning within different political divide. So please explain what u mean.

Because all the things you just mentioned point toward restructuring the nation. Because if every state or region goes back to the resources donated to them by nature,

1- it means we have achieved building bridge (they will patronise one another).
2- it will mean economic recovery & growth cos every state or region will priotise their endevour towards survival.
3- it will mean that we have finally diversfied our economy. It will no more be a mono economy cos as all the regions have different natural resources that now contribute the economic growth.
Finally:
4-the feeling of being cheated will naturaly die. Pipe line bombing & fulani herdsmen & Biafran struggle will die naturaly.

So... The water that can quench the economic fire that is consuming Nigeria is TRUE FEDERALISM as Ekwueme & Gana have joined in calling for it.

Why are you like this?
In this post the OP is not neither discussing “Biafra“ nor Nnamdi Kanu, your evil intention is to divert attention from the main issue and force all of us to chase shadow then mods will either remove the thread, hide it or push is to other boards. It wont work for u.

This is thread is about going back to the call OJUKWU made 50years ago. As captured by Femi Adesina (media aid to president Buhari).
Nigeria needs to be RESTRUCTURED. True federalism is the only option to stop bombing & sectional agitation.

So stop bringing Nnamdi Kanu & Radio Biafra into this thread. If you as wise as u pretend to be, discuss the points in the thread using what happens now in this present Nigeria as a clue.

PERIOD.

Contrast this with Kanu's violent/terror/hate speeches.

About Femi, Aso Villa does things to your mind you wouldn't have believed possible . . . OTOH, his job description is different now, and we are just 1 year in in this admin, amidst economic turmoil. Let's quench the fire first, then we can re-design the property.
remember that Kanu‘s “hate“ speech as u termed is a post civil war speech. It is because what was happening before the war is still happening while “Aburi“ accord (true federalism) is still not yet been implemented. So u dont blame Kanu cos if Gowon did what was agreed & signed in Ghana, there will be no hate speech cos there wouldnt have been the birth of a country called Biafra in the first place.
It is cos Nigeria is hidding Nigeria‘s history from Nigerians thats why someone like Gowon would be a hero while Ojukwu will be seen as a valian.

Just withen May & June 12, Atiku, Sanusi, Ambode have all taken us back to Ojukwu‘s demand. A Nigeria structured in a way that every region develops with their proceeds (resurce control) and pay taxt to the centre. This is also the reason why oil, gas pipelines are been blown up today.

Gowon, Theophilus Danjuma, Buhari & OBJ (hausa slave) did Nigerians wrong. They are the simple reason why we are here POOR today. They killed the spirit of HARD WORK and intrduced us to looting (sharing national cake.

Talking about Pastor FEMI‘s job at Aso Rock now; is he not a media adviser?
Is one of his duties not to bring to the president‘s attention to what is written & published that will effect him (buhari) then advice him on how to handle it.

Finally: the only way toquench this fire is to re structure Nigeria by going back to true federalism if not.
In 100years to come (if we dont break up) we will still fighting militancy, biafra, fulani invaders.
