I opened the gate for them after they dragged each other over a distance of more then 10km. At first I didnt understand why my heart beat skipped when I saw the whole setup so I started throwing questions from every angle asking why he’s done something he knew absolutely nothing about. He said the car broke down and it was certain to be the battery so he called a battery charger and tried jumpstarting but right before he gets back inside the car it goes off again. He then decided to use the chargers battery, lo and behold the car went off after driving some distance( killed the new battery). Now there’s no way to drive the car home so he’d rather tow it to the house since he wouldnt be in town for couple of weeks. At this point he hasn’t even realized his transmission is gone, we were still talking about what the possible problems that could be killing the batteries then I decided to use my own battery to check it out. Put my 75amp in the hood and signaled for chief to start the car. It did start but I couldn’t realy figure out if the alternator was charing or not so in my mind I was Already helping him to price toks alternator and workmanship. Brush it off man ‘you go just change the alternator when you come back’, car was still running idle then I signaled again ‘put am for drive’, baba grabbed the handle and shifted to drive. Now ‘match turtle’, nothing happened, what?!? ‘pin am’, still nothing. It took baba 10 mins to realize his tranny is gone because he towed 4wd on neutral all four legs running on the ground.
I felt pity for him but thats about the most I can do.

Just wondering what the problem could be for the Honda passport. Ever since the engine and gearbox was changed to toks I noticed N would come on the dash even when the car is in D. The car drives well and gear changes smoothly but I want to be sure that isn’t a problem that would later tell on the gear.

Nothing wrong with your car. 4K bill per month on gas is kind of very cheap. Forget 10mins home-office drive, it would still be around that price even if the distance was double.

That’s what I thought, the two cars are way different. The good thing is sometimes a blessing would come as a disappointment. That car sounds a little too good to be true for the price so you could as well be glad you didn’t fall for it, even if it was a good deal, still be glad.

With your 4.1 budget the best Best is the 09 350. Toks. Comes with rest of mind. Even a better buy to me.

My guess is your personality matters a lot. I travel a lot and none of the cars has customs duty. Although They never stopped me in the baby boy but when i drove the EOD, at a point I thought i was the only one customs were out on the road to impound. I can remember about 3 times they stopped me and at all these occasions max i sorted was 1k. Perhaps someone would attribute that to luck but i think much of it was acknowledging there was no paper. Sometimes i went away for free.

We all read foreign market forums for cars and we see how it is done, no one has had to force those folks for a full disclosure before they start listing things like rust and accident history so why does it have to be different here? The subject here shouldn’t be wether cosplay is polite, we are suppose to deal with the matter and leave cosplay to work on himself if he wishes. The challenges we are facing in auto section is fraudulent dealers and if not for all the aggressive revelations we wouldn’t have come this far. This certainly can not go down well with all but it Is an eye opener for the starters. A newbie might think all is well because a car is advertised with vin, what they actually need is FULL DISCLOSURE and that is what cosplay doing. Check all the thread with full disclosure, he promotes them.
