Please read the following instructions very carefully. The re-verification exercise for the 2017 scholarship award is in progress. As a precondition for receiving your yearly grants, your current academic information and 2015/2016 academic session Result Statement are required. To do this, follow the instructions below:


1. Log on to your Scholastica account

2. Click on My account > My profile > Undergraduate Level

3. Scroll down to Current details and fill in your correct and current educational details for 2015/2016 Academic Session

4. Click “Update” to save.

5. Afterwards, click on “Documents” from the menu

6. Select “Transcript or Signed Statement of Result” from the dropdown list

7. Upload your 2015/2016 academic session result

8. Re-confirm that all other information on your profile is accurate, if not send an email to the administrator.

9. Log out of your Scholastica account.

 Deadline is 30th March, 2017

NOTE: 2015/2016 Transcript or Statement of Result must be signed and stamped by the HOD or Dean. More @:

Barcelona defender Jeremy Mathieu has apologised after being pictured with his middle finger raised following the stunning Champions League comeback against Paris Saint-Germain.
Mathieu was seen making the gesture on an Instagram photo posted by teammate Javier Mascherano in the aftermath of the 6-1 win at the Camp Nou that overturned a 4-0 deficit from the first leg.
He said he and his teammates had been motivated by PSG's "lack of humility" following the game at the Parc des Princes, and particularly by one post that featured Adrien Rabiot and Layvin Kurzawa.
But he told beIN SPORTS: "The gesture was a little maladroit from me.
"I should have had more experience there. It was in response to what they did after the first leg.
"If I offended a lot of people, I apologise. It was a little thing in return for those two [Rabiot and Kurzawa]. For them, it wasn't the first time. It was for me. Now, it's in the past.
"It's a small mistake on my part, it's not bad."

32-year-old Zambian woman of Kampongwe area in Kapiri Mposhi district of Central Province has been arrested for allegedly murdering her husband.
Police Spokesperson Esther Mwaata Katongo, revealed that the deceased who has been identified as Oliva Kalangwe aged 34 was initially assaulted by his wife on 26th February, 2017 at about 20:00 hours and that he reported the matter to police. She has said that the wife is reported to have used a pointed high heeled shoe to hit the victim who sustained deep injuries in the head and fore head. Katongo further said that the deceased was issued with a Police medical report form but he did not get back to police.

If you are a 2012 or 2013 awardee and have not registered on Scholastica, kindly follow the steps below to register:

A.    Before you start this application, ensure you have clear scanned copies of the following documents to be uploaded in the documents section:
i.    Passport photograph with white background not more than 3 months old (450px by 450px not more than 200kb)
ii.    School ID card
iii.    Admission letter
iv.    Birth certificate
v.    O' Level result
vi.    JAMB Result
vii.    2015/2016 academic session result statement of result
B.    Go to www.scholastica.ng to create an account as follows.
1.    Click on "Register Now" to create an account.
2.    Proceed to your email box to activate your account
3.    Return to the www.scholastica.ng to continue your application
4.    Enter your registered email and password to upload your information.
5.    Enter your personal information, National Identification Number (if available), educational information, other information and upload required scanned documents accurately.
6.    Ensure the name used in applications matches the names on all documentation in same order. Upload a sworn affidavit or certificate if otherwise.
7.    Ensure you review all information filled and documents uploaded, to eliminate errors.
8.    When asked to upload photo, upload a passport photograph with the dimensions described above.
9.    Recheck application information to avoid errors

C.    Enter the appropriate URL www.scholastica.ng/schemes/agbami20?? ,  where ?? represents the year you were awarded the scholarship, and  enter the necessary information in the relevant year of your award. i.e

- for 2012 awardees the url is www.scholastica.ng/schemes/agbami2012
- for 2013 awardees the url is www.scholastica.ng/schemes/agbami2013

D.    Once on the relevant page for your award year
1.    Click "Apply Now" on your corresponding award year to submit information i.e. 2012 awardee to click “Apply now” on www.scholastica.ng/schemes/agbami2012  etc.
2.    You will receive an email that confirms your application was successful.
3.    Return to www.scholastica.ng, enter your Email and Password to download your profile and proceed to have your Head of Department sign on the document.
4.    Scroll up the page, click on My Account on the black tab, Select “Overview”
5.    Under the Undergraduate Verification Status, click download profile
6.    Print the form, append your signature and take to your HOD for signature and stamp
7.    Return to this page to upload a copy of the clear signed form
8.    Upload a scanned copy of the signed form; this would be used for verification.

Note: You are to enter the requested information in the relevant section applicable to your award year only. All registered Scholastica awardees should please ignore this.

Deadline is 30th March, 2017.
