Thank you guy was beginning to wonder for that guy sef. The fact you are a doctor don't mean you can't have twisted ideas. Chinaimporter: @bushdoc9919
Well, I daresay the idea behind nurse-consultants is to possibly improve training for nurses too....so that they become more than techies.
so if you call them consultants, that makes them better trained or same old nurses with a bigger name.....nobody is against a specialist nurse but nurse consultants is a misnomer
Pharmacists are very important in patient treatment....and yes, we doctors do rely on them for advice.(I am grateful to a hospital pharmacist who pointed out an error in one of my prescriptions once)
Who said they are not important at all, i also relied on a hospital cleaner to tell me that i was not well covered ( torn gloves)while handling an ebola patient....does that make such a person want to head a hospital
Well, some of them do undergo training too...serious training(After all, you do need a lot of knowledge of basic medical science to run a lab!And some lab techies are university graduates....the guy who headed the hospital lab where I did my housejob was a graduate.) I said some are now graduates and off course bar tenders undergo serious training
See my previous comment.....and they do help us docs prescribe right too(The good ones at least).
Infact most are good at their jobs but what do they do.....everybody is good at handing out something Now that's not true...I have friends who are pharmacist....including one who recently got a PhD in the subject...and she never wanted to be a doctor...na pharmacist from day one.(And I too wanted to be a pharmacist....but thanks to advice from a medical doc friend of my parents...).
I said most of them not all and most nigerian know this In America, hospitals are not run by medical doctors....they are run by hospital administrators...and hospital admin is a course on its own (Chris Ngige , the politician, is a trained medical doctor with a diploma in hospital administration). As a doc, I don't mind a nurse running a hospital...so long as s/he does not interfere with my clinical decisions(Plus, any good administrator would give leeway to his or her expert employees).
The question is would they not interfare and if they do and they are heading it, what will you do? Cmon nigeria is not america....hsopital admistration is an MBA course geared towards profit making not effective management of a government hospital Still, the issue really is funding....and the fact that in this country we have a funny idea about titles and salaries. Both need revamping.
Funding is always an issue everywhere....even in usa (I am a medical doctor....and a NMA member).
I am a physiotherapist, a molecular biologist .....and a full johesu member and i dont think you are a doctor because your logic stinks unless you are a bush quack as your username implies |

Mr man, you dont need an aircraft for any reason. Sell it and use the money to cater for the poor and the needy . That’s your job for mankind on this earth. |

Bros u too talk sense. Every is buying confirm players whislt liverpool is buying potentials!!! crazygod: Liverpool needs to buy more quality players. Simple. I'm a die hard fan. Have been a fan of liverpool since the nineties. They need to realise that football is advanced and there are no sentiments in the game. That's y I always love morinho's approach. Liverpool needs to step up. Enough of these mediocre mode of play. Still a liverpool fan for life |

I am slowly beggining to lose faith in this Government. How can people be so dumb and insensitive? Even if it were just for eye service, the presidency is supposed to distance itself from this man untill those allegations are cleared.
As I am typing this, my device will go off any moment because I've not had power supply for almost 48 hrs, yet somebody will tell me there is hope for this 'Hell' called Nigeria!

Op why subject pple to this suffering of opening links?? As a good Nigeria, i don't intend to see my fellow nairalanders suffer. For that reason, here is the full story. Op no vex A doctor in a psychiatric hospital was checking on the patients. He entered room one in ward one and saw a patient, me, sitting on the floor, pretending to saw a piece of wood into half. The other patient, a friend of mine, was hanging on the ceiling. The doctor asked me what I was doing. I replied; Can't you see I am sawing this piece of wood into half? The doctor asked me what my friend was doing. I replied; Oh! He is my friend, but he is a little crazy. He thinks he is a lightbulb. The doctor looked up and noticed that my friend's face was going red. The doctor said to me; If he is your friend, don't you think you should get him down from there before he hurts himself. I shouted; What?? Do you want me to work in darkness? |

I thought was the only one seeing it that way, never knew there was another GENIUS!!!! tit: Very poor engineering design and a waste of scarce public resources. This ramp must have been designed and built by a sudanese engineer! A well trained OAU engineer would merge traffic with a 150 m ramp in this condition.
PS, with the density of traffic at Kofar Mata, the junction/interchange does not need a ramp/flyover. |
