Portable’s rise has been, to say the least, highly unprecedented. People just don’t blow up that way anymore. But it worked for Portable because the streets were feeling him. “Zazoo” was an instant smash due to a couple of factors. Factors that include Olamide’s involvement in the single and the controversies that followed the release. Let’s just say Portable kept us entertained last December. But for many artists, that’s usually how far it goes. Especially artists like Portable that don’t already have a solid foundation in the industry. I mean, did Portable ever even record a real song before “Zazoo”? These are the issues. It’s why nobody was exactly banking on Portable’s becoming a huge star or a mainstream revelation this year. Best case scenario, Portable puts out some music, gets another hit, and continues to remain relevant even in a year that is as competitive as 2022. Worst case? He drops an EP and it flops hard. “Zazuu Zeh” EP I’m afraid to be the carrier of bad news but it would appear that the worst-case scenario has come to pass as it concerns Portable. Firstly, there’s gotta be a problem with how quickly he was able to cook up a 6-track EP. I mean, Don Jazzy locks up his guys for a year or more to create projects like that and here we have a guy from the streets thinking he can pull it off in the shortest possible time? Maybe he’ll surprise us was the optimistic line of thought, but anyone who thought that was sure to be disappointed after listening to the EP. The problem with the EP isn’t exactly Portable; he doesn’t exactly know what he’s doing. But his management is supposed to know what they’re doing, right? Well, I thought so too. Now, it seems as though they don’t have any clue. The EP is not just weak and unimpressive, its lackluster production and lack of direction are gonna hurt Portable’s credibility badly. I’m not going to go into a deep dive into the EP honestly, because it’s definitely not worth the effort at all. I’m going to close off by saying this is either a writing on the wall for the “Zazoo” singer, or it just might be the end of the road for him. Let’s hear what you think guys!! |
As 2023 elections draw closer, erstwhile President, Olusegun Obasanjo has urged the older generation to step down for the younger ones. Obasanjo said the older generation should support the younger generation with the needed knowledge and experience to transform Nigeria. The former President spoke yesterday at the 2022 annual lecture of the Murtala Muhammed Foundation. He faulted old politicians still contesting for the Presidency in 2023. According to Obasanjo:- We need to have an intergenerational collaboration. Fayemi said he was in primary school when Murtala and Obasanjo were there. “So, if people of the Murtala/Obasanjo era are competing with you as Governor, then, something is wrong. “The Murtala/Obasanjo group should be stepping aside. “Whatever experience and knowledge we have, we should be able to give it to you and you should be able to give it to those coming after you.” |

Oftentimes, we tend to shy away from sexual discussion, but the truth is, we can not do without it. Sex is one ingredient that spices up one’s marriage and relationship, so why cant’ we talk about it so we can do better at it and make everyone happy, via a mind blowing orgasm? (moans in delight! LOL) According to a recent survey, the most popular s3x position amongst men and women was doggie-style. It was closely followed by missionary and cowgirl position. Other positions in the list included 69, reverse cowgirl and oral s3x. No, let’s get freaky… Let’s Talk |

If your salary is your only source of income, you are just one step away from poverty. You must become so financially secure that you forget that it is payday. You have multiple bills, why not have multiple streams of income? We are living in a world where one source of income is not enough and increasingly becoming unsustainable. One of the habits of the rich is creating multiple streams of income. Your salary shouldn’t be your only source of income; complementing your main salary is one of the most sustainable ways of building up your financial baseline. Let’s help each other here with some useful advice please, How Many Hustles Does a Person Need To Survive In This Country? |

Prayer is the natural way of faith to communicate with God according to personal belief or Creed. It’s a norm in this part of the world to “Shout” competitively or gingered to raise our voice while praying because we believe it’s best. In prayer, we pour out our hearts’ desires to God in adoration, confession, petition, intercession, and thanksgiving as we submit ourselves to His will. Prayer is a passionate affair. It involves all of who we are and aspire to be before God. Encouragingly, there is no biblical reason to believe that praying out loud is more or less effectual than praying silently. We may do either. Scripture is full of examples of public prayers offered on all sorts of occasions, from Solomon’s long prayer at the dedication of the temple (Matt. 27:46). Yet, Jesus also taught His disciples that our Father hears prayers offered silently or in secret when Paul tells us our faith and hope with to see for words (Rom.8:26). What do you think guys. Sincerely |
A friend of mine argued that Twitter is the best social network in the world, but Idoubt. Twitter isn’t, Facebook is the best if you ask me. Why I said so? Facebook offers high word space for discussion. Twitter doesn’t. Real names and photos are used on Facebook. Friendship is promoted on Facebook. Clout chasing and fake life is low. Trolling is low. Hate speech can easily be deleted. Uncontrollable people can easily be kept out of sane debate. In addition, posts and comments can be edited and corrected if they contain error or ambiguity. The only problem I have with Facebook is that the owner is too greedy and stingy. Twitter currently pay content creators with atleast 10K followers but Facebook doesn’t. Facebook only pay foreign content creators, blacklist Nigerians. Talking about intelligence, Facebook users seem to be more brilliant than Twitter users. The only thing Twitter guys know how to do best to to troll and drag people, nothing else. |
No doubt Genevieve is an OG when it comes to the Nigerian movie Industry, however, many believe that Mercy Johnson is a better actress than her. I actually agree too that Mercy Johnson is a better actress though. Why do I think so? Mercy Johnson is versatile when it comes to acting, her energy is out of this world. One very important characteristic she possess as an actress is that she hits the mark. She can be very high up there and very low. Prostitute, widow, classy chic, mother, funny, witch, illiterate, poor, rich, ugly, beautiful, she can do all. On the other hand, Genevieve is a wonderful actress but I think she is stereotyped. She isn’t as versatile as Mercy Johnson. The only problem I have with Mercy Johnson is that she is still more into local home videos. Unlike Genevieve, she is yet to break into box office movies. I guess someone gotta do the Asaba movies right? (This is in no way a shade to the Asaba movie makers. Y’all are doing well) So, the question is; Mercy Johnson Is a Better Actress Than Genevieve Nnaji -DO YOU AGREE? |

Hello How are you all doing? Hope you are good? I have been wondering about this for awhile now and I decided to share it. Do doubt the business sector in Nigeria is dominated by the Igbo people. In fact, an average Igbo man is seen as domineering and brutal when it comes to business. They can literally do anything to succeed in their business. On the other hand, the Yorubas take the lead when it comes to education. An average Yoruba man has an MSC or an MBA. The Yoruba people arguably have the highest number of professors in Nigeria, although the Igbo people are seriously chasing them behind too (Igbo Kwenu!) But what about the Hausa people, what are they known for? |
