14 year old Nigerian-America filmmaker and writer, Zuriel Oduwole has met with the US Secretary of State, John Kerry.

Zuriel Oduwole is popular for her education advocacy campaign and for being the youngest filmmaker to have a self-produced and self-edited work among other achievements.
Sharing photos from her visit, Zuriel wrote,

"Met John Kerry - US Secretary of State. Happy New year to you all and hope you had a Merry and Safe Christmas. I am just so very, very thankful to the LORD for where he is taking me and what he wants to do in the lives of the youth of this world today. I just met with the US Secretary of State, John Kerry in his office in Washington DC. Some of you might think so, you've already met 23 World Leaders and recently spoke at the UN. This is very different. Secretary Kerry's decisions affects the whole worlds foreign and economic policy. And next to President Obama, he is the most visible member of the US Government leadership. The whole world knows who he is. What's so cool is we talked about Girls Education, and all the State Department has done the last 4 years on this serious topic. Like me, he believes if all people in a society are included, especially Girls and Women, then that society does much better. I believe that so much. The All Progressives Congress, APC south west reconciliation meeting ended on an icy note On Thursday as former Lagos State governor, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu and some close allies walked out after the first round of a two-stage meeting despite persuasion to stay.

While Tinubu and others were seriously angry, Fayemi was said to be holding Ibikunle Amosun’s hand in unity while Babatunde Fashola stood apart, smiling occasionally.

According to Vanguard sources, the first round of the meeting in the Executive Chamber of the Oyo State Governor’s Office lasted about four hours with all invitees in attendance.

“When the meeting ended at about 5:05 pm, Tinubu wore a hard countenance likened to a lion fresh from a battle as all the persuasive moves by Abiola Ajimobi of Oyo state for Tinubu to tarry a little for the second meeting were rejected as he immediately drove away in a Range Rover Sports Utility Van leaving some of his aides behind.

Fayemi, a political disciple of Tinubu was, on the other hand, smiling all through. “When Tinubu posed with others for a photograph, he had to be persuaded to soften his mien for the photographs. He then feigned a dry smile and immediately after, he again assumed a tough mien as he strode towards his waiting vehicle”.

The cat was, however, let out of the bag when Fayemi burst into a song, still holding the hand of Amosun. He sang one of King Sunny Ade’s tunes…Ko le se kija ma wa o, bi ija ba de o, se lo ye ka pari e, ko le se ki ija ma wa o..meaning misunderstanding is unavoidable, when it occurs, we ought to settle it. Amosun, however, cautioned Fayemi to stop the song.

While Tinubu, Ambode, Aregbesola and Amosun left after the first meeting, Akande held the second round of meeting with the ministers. The second meeting involved all the ministers, including Fayemi, Shittu, Adeosun, Ajimobi and Isaac Adewole.

The holidays are over, and we''re now open. Just as promised. It''s related to the hysteria raised by the authorities and the mass media around MMM. By joining forces, they''ve managed to nearly give the members of the System a heart attack and have frightened them out of their wits. Poor souls don''t know what to expect. Will we open again or not? :-))
This is why we''ve decided, considering the situation, to reach out to the members, reassure and cheer them up by opening a little earlier. After all, Together We Can Change The World! :-))
Here we go.
1. As of this notice, MMM resumes its usual operation. You can now create your GH-requests.
2. However, it''s obvious that panic will reign in the first few days after the re-opening of the System. We’re likely to be deluged by GH-requests. Therefore, we''re going to make gradual paybacks by setting internal output limits. In other words, we will only pay a certain amount per day. Please, be prepared to wait for a couple of days. We are certain things will then calm down, and the System operation will return to normal.
We''re the ones setting the limits, so it''s completely under our control, and we are not expecting any emergencies in principle. Have no fear and go on about your business as usual. :-))
As the System is socially oriented, we will make paybacks to the poor and the economically disadvantaged in the first place: it means to the members with small PH amounts. The richer can wait. Moreover, we''ve warned you repeatedly to only provide help with amounts that are not critical for you. Therefore, if these large amounts are not critical for them (the richer), they can wait a few days. No need to be tragic about it. :-))
