Education / Re: Kano To Build N100M Hostel In Sokoto For Usman Danfodiyo University by kobojonkie(f): 12:59am On Dec 08, 2011 |
Kobojunkie: Thats very good value for money if you ask me. Just $2500 per student and the hostel is always going to be there. Nigerian students deserve even more than this. |

Politics / Re: Senate Rejects State Burial For Ojukwu by kobojonkie(f): 7:48pm On Dec 01, 2011 |
Why should he get a state burial? He never believed in Nigeria and even in death he wanted to visit countries that supported his Biafra cause. I dont have any thing personal against him but really he should get a local burial in his Igbo land. State burials are for Statesmen who have lived and fought for peace and stability of the State. Next please |

Godman_n: GBAM . . . Well said It is now a game of chess in Nigeria between the leaders and followers. The followers are being used as sacrificial pawns to kill each other while the queen and rooks are cowardly sitting in their secure and comfortable positions. For any revolution the pawns have to rebel and send out the cowards at the back row to the front line. Let Namadi Sambo be posted to Yobe to solve the Boko Haram crisis, Let Alison Maduekwe be posted to Niger Delta creeks to solve once and for all outstanding Mend issues, and let Aliko Dangote and his likes pay for the "supposed" fuel subsidy instead of poor Nigerian masses. Why do the masses have to suffer more on top of all their sufferings while they cushion the effects on the super rich guys? Why must innocent souls of market men and women, students and corpers, and poor hungry youths be sacrificed to fight artificial battles for greedy politicians? Why . . . Why so many questions but no answers?? |

afam4eva:An Igbo man cannot lead a revolution any more. It will be deciphered as an act of war. Unfortunately I have to say this is true. Its a permanent scar on your face. No makeup or surgery can completely hide it. Do you think if Boko haram was an Igbo group, the government wouldn't have invaded the east? Because it's the north, some people are even saying they're freedom fighters. I bet you the day Massob decides to tow the path of Mend and Bokoharam, that's the day another war will kick start. I wonder why you are comparing Massob to Boko haram and Mend. Massob is clearly endorsed openly by many Igbos while Boko haram and Mend are faceless groups. |

Just look at revolutions happening in Egypt, Libya, Tunisia, Yemen, and even Kuwait recently. It is just a pity that Nigerians cannot copy the game. We prefer to fight out dirty tribal and religious politics while the wolves at the top have a field day. They are busy keeping us preoccupied with boko haram, mend, armed robbery and political thuggery while they enjoy their loots in peace. If none of these problems exist they know that one day people will unite and fight them. Most of those countries doing revolution are far better than Nigeria in terms of standard of living but the people are not satisfied with the corruption in high places going on. They want freedom from corruption, dictatorship, censorship, oppression and slavery. But just look at how igbo and yoruba 'warriors' on nairaland abuse each others fathers and forefathers in the morning. Then in the afternoon they combine to take out their anger and frustrations on hausa/fulani. which way Nigeria? |
