Bro, I don’t think you are correct. In some cases, (few) applicants do not receive decision mail which I feel it’s due to error from the VO or DMC.
But in most cases, applicants receive decision mail. Though the decision mail will not tell you that your visa application was successful or refused. It will just come with your application number and to notify you that a decision had been made on your application. However, if a refusal mail does not follow the decision email, it’s 90% certain that your visa application is successful (this is one way people prepare for their travels even before collection mails). But if it’s not, just few minutes after decision mail, you will get the refusal email as well.
I hope this is clear.

Hi Fam,
Applied for visiting visa for my mum from the uK.
She has been in the uK before and has good travel history including canada, USA and SA etc
Issue is that she did biometrics on 24th May, and the application is more than 6 weeks now.
Sent a paid mail 10 days ago but was told that her application is being considered and awaiting decision.
After 10days, We are yet to get any response.

Is it okay to send a reminder to follow up on their last response to the paid mail or 10days gap is too small.
She wants to come for my siblings graduation in July and I fear that time May pass wit the way they are handling the application.
Can this also affect them not granting her bearing in mind that the graduation might have passed by the time they make their decision even when she applied early enough.

I think you are good to go.
However, if hubby has some huge inflows and all, he might need to explain those unusual transactions. But if it’s his salary, then he should be able to support the application with letter of employment that states his income and all. (I am saying this cos it feels the salary isn’t constant 1.5, then other amount other times)
They would want to know if the money is really his savings or business purpose. The visa officers don’t like to mix business with pleasure.

Please when is it good to send paid mail to confirm the status of the application because it has exceeded 15 working days.
She has been to the UK within the last 10 years,
She has good travel history to US, SA, Gambia, Dubai, And Valid Canadian Visa…..

Yes you can finish provided they issue your CAS in good time and you have your funds available for 28 days already. Other things wouldn’t take time

Please how does declaring previous visa application refusal work?
If one was denied Usa visa 3 times and Australia twice.
Are you just to declare that you were refused USA visa quoting the last month and year of refusal and same for Australia.
Or we are to state all the three times you were denied visa in USA and all the two times you were denied Australia too with their respective months and years?

Good people, please my middle name is Babajide on my birth certificate while I have Jide on all my documents.

Please is it okay for me to use like that or do I need to do a new birth certificate that Has Jide as my middle name. All other details are correct except for the middle name that was spelt as Babajide.

Mehn you are so favored. that grant is okay for you to add to any SOA you want to submit too. I was admitted into Mechanical dept.
