Aquila Joy: We tend to forget too quickly that we have a "denial syndrome" in the Nigeria polity. Alams was caught by the british police for money laundering, he denied it. Obj also denied he ever said that the 2007 election would be a"do or die" election. When it was being rumoured that intercontinental bank had problems, Akingbola denied it. Denial is usually the first step any of these criminals will take. But whether the figures were cooked up or not, we shall soon know the truth. Just recntly the for IGP denied the 166m naira non performing loan with one of the banks. He denied even when it was obvious he signed the papaers preceding the loan.
Thats Nigeria for you. Sanusi is the cbn gov, he needed to take a decision very quicky and that he did. Its causing so mus furore because it is swallowing the high n the mighty of our poilitical and biz world. I feel Sanusi has done the right thing to publish the names of the defaulters. We need just one man that will one voice that is the right voice. We have all been clamouring for a change in theis nation. We can only achieve that by having the right people take over the those areas like PHCN, NSE and having the right pple in the Gov ministires that will bring about the right chanes we deserve and desire. Nigeria is being governed by the cronies of these cabals, Like the cbn gov said, he expects a fight, but they should garner all the armouries becos they need to fight not to be jailed. Let there be sanity for once. Nigeria by this singular step is starting the process of economic emancipation. This i think is a fundamental achievement for yaradua. He has just won a plus for me. Worth a brilliant lady! |

Kobojunkie: Wait just a minute!!
What good people? You mean the millions of Nigerians out there who are themselves corrupt and willing to cast down the next man so they can step over him to get to a piece of the "National pie" are good people?? Roflmao!!!!
Oh yeah!!! It seems second nature is to THROW blame over to the leaders rather than admit we are just as horrible as those from amongst us we have allowed to climb up to leadership positions, while many of those at the bottom are clawing their way up as we speak. I beg to disagree sir. You have no rigth to generalize wrong doings considering the fact that we are up to 120 million in number. How many Nigerians do you know personnally? The fact that a few does that does not mean that we all will do it if given the oppurtunity. The Ngozi Okonjos and Ezekwesilis of this world to name but a few are Nigerians. Ain't they? May I ask you to withdraw this statement please? |

RibaduFan: It is easy to sit back and accuse others.
You are the ones making the unfounded allgeations so the burden of proof lies with you. Kindly proof to us that they are greed and reckless.
Have heard of wicked politics in Nigeria. Now I see it being played live.
Am sure you guys also crucified Jim Nwobode a few years back, now no one is saying jack. No body is accusing anybody here. The facts are on ground: There was an audit and these ones failed. Can you please tell me what is political about this? What will sanusi acheive from draging the name of his former collegues in mud. I bet you are not a depositor in one of these banks thats why you are making this statement. Who said savanah bank wasn't bad? Wining a case in court doesn't mean Nwobodo is innocent. Tha is where you can say politics came in. He is a PDP cheiftain. We will look back in two years time with praises for Sanusi. Watch and see. |
