femi_seun: Any pics showing the Estate and level of development? It's still a virgin land and what we're working on presently is to fence the estate. It's after the plots have been fully aquired that we can then move into other phase of the estate development. The project is executed in 3phases: Phase 1- Land aquisition scheme. Phase 2- Infrastructure development. Phase 3- Housing development. It's until after the 1st Phase has been accomplished that the features listed on the advert can come into place. We both know that the land can never go for this price once developmental projects have commenced.

With spanco it can only get worse!! When we protested sometime in oct 2011, so many goofs here on nairaland were defending dr actions & calling dem notable investors who wants to provide jobs to our teeming youths. And today we're now reaping the investment in larger proportions as it now affects us directly or indirectly. We nevr expected anything better to come out of Spanco because they've alwys showed that they wr not interstd in staff welfare other than meeting ur log on duration and d unrealistic average handling time. But of course we gav dem what dey want by kalo-kalo methods... & u cud guess the outcome; quality service declined. But honstly they were not bothered abt quality but rathr on the number of calls u picked because that's what airtel pays them for; which xplains why dey'll do anytin to make sure u're picking calls evn while on d sickbed. The supervisors & team leaders wr nice & lovly as agents, but i believ what cud hav generated ds new trait in dem will definitly b d pressure they're receiving frm d indians. Honstly am realy touchd wit what u guyz are goin tru cos we had access to all the basic things u mentioned here not because dey wr benevolent but because it was inherited frm Zain & they cudnt throw it out jus like dat without facing comfrontatn frm us. Env d 9hrs log on duration now is evn higher dan what was obtained earlier & yet d salary is not compared to what we earned. That was d reason dey decided to pay us off, relocate to ibadan wr they can access cheap labour because dey felt dey wr payin too much in abuja, & start up with new crop of agents who dey felt they can manipulate witout resistance. But we alwys knew that it was not goin to last 4evr because one day d agents will realise dr worth, & how badly slaved they've been caged by ds merciless paymasters & probablly tk necessary steps to correct it.... Pls dnt wait 4ur team leaders & managers because dey have little or nothin to do abt it. Dey wr employed by d indians jus like u, & will do evrytin to protect their jobs. Get affiliated to a union body that can champion ur course properly wit all support & logistics frm d NLC. And wit God on ur side, u sure can create a change. |
hmmm!!! So ds guyz still dey luk for pple 3k like ds Thought they're done recruiting for health therapist (marketers in disguise). Well, if u've got transport fare dat's not so valuable, need a place to unwind & hear abt funny employmnt stories of how u'll earn up to 150k by selling drugs to obesse pple, den feel free to attend d assessment test... But dnt b tempted to fall for d N3,000 naira "value test." |
@kcwhyte; it's been said on this forum times without number that whosoever is requesting money from you inother to give u a job is fraudulent & a scammer... When u pay the money, they'll definitly give u the recomendation letter & after they reject u from where u've been recomended to, they'll give another one which of course u'll b rejected & after u don go tru multiple rejection, no b person go tell u say "this is lagos". PLS LETS DESIST FROM ENCOURAGING THESE CRIMINALS WITH OUR HARD EARNED CASH. I also saw dr msg in my mail box from an application i made @Gigajob... E be like say na scammers full dat jobsite because ds's d third time some unscrupulous elements hv contacted me for test/interviews after i signed up there. They're on a vry loooong tin!! |
yetty328@yahoo.:I dont tink it's a scam actualy. Try googling their web adress to get more info about the coy. |
LWKMD!! Nwanne-nwanyi d NL Cop... Pls chase dem all out |
by Andrew Samson We’ve heard it all before — smoking can ruin your lungs, your teeth, and especially your breath. But can it actually damage your brain? Unfortunately, yes. According to a shocking new study conducted by scientists at London’s King’s College, smoking “rots” the brain by damaging memory, learning, and reasoning. That’s right: smoking can actually cause brain damage. My parents always told me “Only the stupid kids smoke,” but who knew they meant that literally? The scientists conducted their research by gathering 8,800 people over the age of 50 and conducting numerous brain and intelligence tests, such as teaching them new words and seeing how well they retained the information. These tests were done every four years beginning in 2000. The results found a “consistent association” between smoking and lower scores in the test. Additionally, overall risk of a heart attack or stroke was “significantly associated with cognitive decline.” Basically, they found that if you have any history of smoking, high blood pressure or obesity, you are definitely at risk. It’s worth noting that this isn’t the first time these links have been reported. Another recent study conducted by scientists at Anhui Medical University in China found that exposure to second-hand smoke could actually lead to dementia. That said, there is a bright side: we can actually take steps to prevent mental decline. According to Dr. Alex Dregan of King’s College London, a number of risk factors associated with accelerated cognitive decline “could be modifiable” and that this discovery “offers valuable knowledge for future prevention and treatment interventions.” It’s all linked to a concept called “neuroplasticity,” in which the brain actually regrows nerve endings and repairs itself, as long as the mind remains stimulated. How can we keep our minds stimulated? Through the years, scientists have recommended a few different options like doing crossword puzzles or reading books, but let’s face it – those approaches have become a little dated, and not everyone enjoys the same activities. This is why neuroscientists have been spending years developing better and more exciting activities for people who want to take that extra step to keep their minds healthy and focused. There are several excellent options out there, but one that has been getting a lot of attention recently is Lumosity. Designed by a team of dedicated neuroscientists in conjunction with Harvard University, Lumosity is an online program that basically functions as an exercise regimen for your brain. If you’ve ever exercised, you know you don’t get results doing the same exercises over and over again. The brain works the same way. That’s why Lumosity is so effective—it gives users a training program full of fun games and challenges that constantly stimulate the brain, thus preventing further damage. Whether or not you’re at risk sure to smoking, everyone can benefit from improving mental sharpness and focus before it’s too late. firsttoknow.com/smokers-forget-your-lungs-worry-about-your-brain/?utm_source=d_e&utm_campaign=smokers-forget-your-lung-18085 |
