I wanna know, between the two - which one is EASIER to Study, easier in terms of concepts to understand, how hectic is it and finally, the easier one to make a First class?

Go for what you like most, forget about toughness, once you have passion for a field, it becomes easier.

How good is your extracurricular activities ? It's a major decider. These schools need an all round scholar, not just a bookworm. Thats why most inventions come from around there.

Some yrs back, a poor guy( can't remember his name but surname is okeke) who lived with a relative in university of Nigeria nsukka staff quaters got admitted into MIT through scholarship. This guy failed jamb twice. He came out as the best graduating student of the school and broke record of almost 100yrs. That was during obasanjo time. The man was so bitter he said the guy should be happy he received a handshake from him.

Getting into MIT is very achievable. But note the following:

1.It's with facts that they stand as the No. University in the world
2. It has some of the 1% smartest people in the world(Nigerians included)
3. They almost never fund MSC but PHD, which means you should get set to cough out $75k+(30+ million Naira) for msc totally.

With the above, you should know you need near perfect scores, which still does not guarantee entry. MIT is quoted for a reason. They have around 5% acceptance rate, which means you need to be exceptional.

E.g.. Elect/comp Engineering would get 3000 applications, and only about 150 would be admitted. Note that applications do triple that amount.

You need to be in top among the top students in your school with sterling voluntary services rendered to the community to supplement it.

Thanks for this bro, I just got to know them cos the university I am aspiring to for Direct Entry is using their syllabus..I watched series of lectures from their professors and I really like their approach of lecturing, not just explaining only theories but practical application is always demonstrated during lecture as well.
I think they are currently in number one or two among the university.

If possible sef, I wish to do my undergraduate there...lol.

Sure bro. I once followed up the US scholarship stuff. From the information I have, you need to write Gre, tofel and get excellent recommendation letters from Dr or assistant professors (I think it is the minimum) before you will put in an application.

The schools selected must be balanced in such a way that, the best, average and normal are chosen during your application to increase your chances of getting funding.

Search for US students visa, Gre, and tofel thread to be able to follow the recent trends on those points mentioned above.

I was only inquisitive to know which field of study she is in (of course, engineering courses in most federal universities is frustrating and hardly do you see people having such results) but it seems like she is not interested in answering the questions.

When I was registering for direct entry, I was asked to fill date of examination but then I used awaiting results so I just guessed my graduation date. But now I have my results, the date of graduation is 2 days off. And at the cbt center they said date of exam cant b changed. Hope this wont affect anything. Though during post utme reg d skul only asked of graduation year.

I reached out to 18 endusers hoping to continue the next day. I received an offer of $100 from an enduser yesterday and i counter with $300. I guess you school in OAU...you can only get pq for general courses like 101,102,201,202 on campus around #800-1k...but you can get others from your seniors in form of question papers because they are departmental courses...they are not available for sale
