This list of food is what the Dallas Zoo needs every day. Multiply this by 50 or 60 days... Say that Noah only needed half a ton of hay a day. That's 30 tons of hay for the whole cruise. Exactly where did they keep this? How did they gather it all in advance of the rain? If you gathered 100 pounds of hay every day, it would take you 20 days per ton. So you'd have to do nothing but gather hay for 600 days to get 30 tons together. Now I'm using logic again here, so I'm sure I've lost you by now, but if it rained for 40 days, enough to cover the highest mountain peaks in the world, please tell me exactly where did all that water go? It would have taken years for it to evaporate or be absorbed into the soil, so where did it disappear to? And how did the animals get there? How exactly did the wombats and kangaroos get to the middle east from Australia? Did the swim? Did the Polar bears swim tens of thousands of miles to get there? just asking common sense questions. what I don’t understand is why religious Nigerians such as Christians and Muslims dislike atheist more than they dislike each other…Christianity and Islam as similar as they may seem are not the same and belief in one will be entirely contradictory to the other , even within Christianity the catholic faith is very different from pentecostal faiths ,they are so different that they might as well be considered different religions. but the truth is that atheism ,Christianity ,Islam are all different beliefs . you may think an atheist is a bad or evil person ,that is not true ,a relatively recent poll suggest that 1% of the population in Nigeria are atheist ,that is the second lowest number in the world in the world ,Ghana being the lowest with 0%(because the amount of atheist is too small) ,both Nigeria and Ghana are actually the two most religious countries in the world and yet they are not the best countries in the world ,corruption as rotten-ed Nigeria especially, Germany which has 25% atheist and France about 33% atheist in its population are one of the worlds best countries ,economically and otherwise . Adolf hitler was not an atheist he belonged Officially to the catholic church ,but he did not participate in the the church’s actiities but he made even his surbo-rdinates members ,he was a bad person but he claimed Christianity . what am trying to say here is that your beliefs don’t make you a bad or a good person ,you define who you are . I am an atheist i have not killed anybody ,i have not stolen before ,i hardly tell lies but you will still think i am of the devil, whereas some people that claim to be Christians ,kill ,steal and destroy so you cannot judge a person by what they claim to belong to ,i am an atheist and i am a good person .you mare be feeling angry but Human beings are always going to be controlled by emotions such as hate, fear ,love E.T.C Culled from Nigerian atheist 2 Likes |

Recently there have been stories about "people" who went to heaven and saw Jesus. Books were written about "their" experience in Heaven. A story of a Christian boy who went to heaven was made into a movie. He describes Jesus with a beard and blue eyes. The fact his father was a Christian minister might have had something to do with this boys "fantasy". This "story" of seeing Jesus was "praised" by some Christians as true. The boy and his Christian minister were even interviewed on FOX NEWS and other "news programs. As ridiculous as it sounds that a boy went to heaven and saw Jesus -it was made into a movie and discussed as a miracle on FOX NEWS. This "story" got a lot of attention and described as a miracle by those born again Christian Morons. Recently the "miracle" boy said he made it all up about going to heaven and seeing Jesus. Also there is this "doctor" who said he went to heaven and talked about seeing butterfly's. He also wrote a book about his experience in heaven. Just a few days ago another boy talked about his trip to heaven. They(the doctors) said his heart stopped for over 20 minutes and should have been dead. Well anyway miraculously when he regained consciousness he said he went to heaven. Of course most everyone laughed or giggled but not everyone. One of the doctors said "he" believed the boy. Sometimes we have to control ourselves from belittling "believers" in God. I get that. But do we have to not ridicule people who say they met Jesus and went to heaven. The boy is just a boy who made up a "story" but the morons at Fox News and others who believed the imagined trip to heaven deserve contempt and ridicule. 2 Likes |

The Academic Staff Union of Universities, ASUU, has described as illegal all the 16 universities and other higher institutions established by the administration of President Goodluck Jonathan, saying they lack the necessary legal backing and so may be living on borrowed time. This remark was made by the union’s National President, Dr. Issa Fagge Nasir, while commenting on the recent conversion of four colleges of education to universities by the Federal Executive Council, FEC. Nasir, in an exclusive interview with New Telegraph, described the conversion as an assault on the Acts establishing the colleges, adding that universities are not only established via executive fiats but through thorough consultations with stakeholders and deep understudy of the pros and cons of such decisions. He said, “Our quarrel with the government is that universities are not just established by executive fiats like this administration is doing. So the Federal Government is only compounding the problems already bedeviling the education sector and I wonder if the incoming administration will allow this to stand. “Strictly speaking, the Federal Government is not respecting its own laws, and I wonder how you just transmute an institution without looking at its laws. What happens to its staff, facilities and infrastructure?” The ASUU president also queried the release of N500 million each to the four new universities as take-off grant, saying the money alone cannot be enough for staff training not to talk of infrastructural upgrade. He said academic institutions like universities are the bedrock for national development and so are not run without defined mandate and vision, and that using them to achieve political gains will only further compound the nation’s problems. He, therefore, called on the incoming administration to critically assess these decisions and make impartial judgment that will benefit the mass of the people and return the country’s education sector’s lost glory. |
