seun ultimate: how did u do it? please help a bro.download framaroot from google play install it,select supersu then click on boromir that's all then use root checker to check if your phone is really rooted. To install and use cmw,1. Download and install busybox on ur android.. this allows ur fone's root to be visible to mtkdroid tools. 2. download and install Mtkdroid tools for ur pc. 3. download Pdanet drivers for ur pc.. Note:there are 2 types... 1 for a 32-bit system and d oda for a 64-bit system.. 4. Launch and install d pdanet for ur fone from ur pc( ur fone must be connected to d pc).. follow d on screen instructions 5.. Now open Mtkdroid tools.. wait for it to detect ur fone..d yellow bar underneath d must change to green before u continue 6. Click on root,backup and recovery... den tick on To use.boot from fone.. now click on Recovery and boot.. 7. The tool will load and then ask u To make CWM automatically?? click yes 8.Now u really av to wait while it creates d backup.. it takes roughly 15mins.. finally it will say Install created recovery to phone? click yes.. 9. now it will prompt u to boot into CWM mode to know d success.. from der u can den create ur own backup.. I@ had abt 6 files in my clockworkmod folder after dbackup |

Sum1 told d OS i.e 4.2 jellybean is too powerful 4 d phone...i wud hve agreed to dat theory...not until i got to P2 thread n saw a vewi intrestin screen shot... With bbm,facebook n whatsapp running plus oda stuffs....d persn had ova 170mb ram left...wch is not possible on my p5 atleast not until i greenify almost all my apps...b4 i can get bout 150...i cant even play GTA 3 on it ... Dat sh*t is jes too frustrating.... By d tym i calculate errthang running in background d ran utilised most tyms is jes bout 300mb...wonda wat is devouring d restmy guy e be like say your phone get winsh oooo. You know what,do a backup and restore factory settings. Or just manage your phone dey use ram expander join. |

fesogbade: pls, I will I precisely do dat is it still wit d mtkdroid tool?switch off your phone,press the power button with the upper volume to boot into cmw from there you'll see various option. Use ur volume key to scroll and use ur power button to select backup. You must have up to 2gb to back up |

booqee: I've been reading and hearing a lot dat p5 takes so many hours to charge. Just got d phone and dis is my first charging. Under one hour 30minutes its already full. Hope all's well.what percentage was it be4 u charged it? I'm sure the reason why many people are having problem with charging and bat3 is cause you don't use the charger that comes with it. That tecno charger is perfectly made for the phone.... |

Olarewajub: I don't think Tecno P5 is worth the hyping.no one is hyping it,its just that its a good phone nothing special bout it. The only problem I have with it is the RAM. its so frustrating,even the ram expander has its disadvantages so I don't usually use it all the time. The battery is ok,I really don't know why people complain bout the battery I guess its factory error. I gave my neighbour's children my p5 to play game all day I just collected it back this night and my battery was at 20 percent. I checked my log to see the games dey played and they've been playing the game all day,so I don't see the fuss about the battery. Buh I'm thinking of selling the phone to buy a Samsung,this tecno insults I take everyday is too much,lol and tecno no be bad fone ooooo. Aniwaiz that's my opinion. 1 Like |

Warlord3000: u can use mtkdroid tools on PCI've used mtkdroid tools on pc buh where I'm suppose to click root and backup Isn't there for me to choose. And the mtk driod tools doesn't even recognise my phone |
