Men! This thread is very informative. Keep it up guys! |
@ Pifa, please may God bless you and your wife for your hearts of gold. Nigeria needs people like you. You are what Nairalanders should be like. Please honor me by extending my best wishes to your wife also. Thanks. |
It isn't possible to make peace with any kind of winsh. . . Small winsh, big winsh, baby winsh. . . All na winsh and winsh na bad tin. Hormonal imbalance is like madness. The experiment of making peace with winshes has been tried several times, with NL as the laboratory. But sadly those that fly at night see daylight as their enemy. Now all we can do is apply constant fumigation and remorsless warfare. I've been doubting Tpia's crtics until today. She hates secretly and for no reason, and staabs in the back with no feeling. |
Sorry to say,but Tpiah is just a troublemaker. For such a cultured lady that's a pity. |
Quote from Tpia @Komando: I admire your style of writing. May the wisdom of Solomon be upon you.sounds like you! Tilapiah fishmouth or whatever you call yourself! Please leave me out of your double standards. You and bkbabe can marry yourselves for all I care. |
@ OwII Why the sacarsm. Anyway I would love to study Ibani, so please send the links. Suppose you heared that Obama town exists in Kalabari, Okrirka and Mbaise(Imo State). The truth realy enlightens and doesn't hurt. |
The First Lady who is a native of Obama in Okrika land harped on the need for the governor to dialogue with the people on the planned demolition. Thought Obama Town was in Kalabari. So Dame Patience na Obama sister. Okay oh.Anyway all na Koniju Igbo. |

An Opobo person told me that Ibani is made up of Igbo words spoken in a different accent. is this true? Anybody? |
Quote from Bk Theres a time and a place for everything, and berating a fellow public official in front of the populace just to get cheap publicity just doesnt cut it! Bros, try and measure yourself with your words and see if you measure up. |

Theres a time and a place for everything, and berating a fellow public official in front of the populace just to get cheap publicity just doesnt cut it! Am I hearing correctly? |
That Igbo is widely spoken by natives in Opobo, is no coincidence. The founder (Jaja)was Igbo and took many Igbo along with him. That Igbo is also widely spoken in Bonny is also not a coincidence. Is it not curious that the two houses, who played a major role in shaping Bonny had Igbo leaders ? The other houses were not major players in the local politics, if not, their leaders would have been known as well and it won't be surprising to find that a good number of them were Igbo as well. FACE thanks for that exposition. |
If the Abam are both in Okrika and Ohafia; the Okrika are both in Rivers and in Imo State (Umu Okrika) that means the Igbos and Ijaws are very close indeed. |
