Yes, if there is a clearance on the mount bushing and faulty gear system.
A lot of issues can cause vibration in a car especially an old one. This is why cars are sold after their 10 to 13 years useful life and shipped to third world countries.
We buy an old vehicle thinking that we are bigger boys, while a lot of issues are waiting for us.

Wheel balancing is the first thing i have done, my rim has a little bent, very little that you won't notice, I was thinking it's the issue and changed to spare tyre, and the vibration is still there, that's when I know it's not the rim cause.

I'm just tired, I have been managing is like that.

Check the bearing and cup, if they are okay then return in to it's state

Most mechanics will always tell you that the brake disc is bad each time they hear that Car Vibrates When Brake is Applied.
That is not always the case, for mine the pipe supplying hydraulic fluid to the brake shoe was blocked and caused the vibration.

If the bearing is bad, you will see it broken or damaged else, return it back. Please see this link below. You can also jack the front tyres, put the car on drive without accelerating. The faulty side of the tyre will show itself, it will wobble. Also check your tyre and wheel balancing, carefully observe them. Wheels can become bent/damaged after years of usage.

I'm experiencing same issue, though mine starts from 70 to 80kmh, if I press had on accelerator, but disappears immediately i remove my leg, I have done wheel balancing just to be sure but still same issue

Yes I have fixed it. The Continuous Velocity joint otherwise known as the inner cup is faulty. Replaced it and everything is okay. The link below is very helpful

When tracing vibration, it's important to note certain things like.
The speed at which the vibration starts and stop or it never stops at all when it starts. (Km/mph)
Where do you feel the vibration?
The mileage of your car.

To your question, vibration when the brake is applied is 95% of the time caused by a bad brake disc. Other things to check: Your camber bushing, bolt joint, stuck caliper slide pins, and stuck caliper piston.

Btw, bad shock will not directly cause vibration! But noise in an uneven road also losing vehicle composure at high speed.

Thanks my brother,the car wobbles even at the lowest speed. I had to change all the tyres, and did wheel balancing and alignment, yet problem persists. I suspect a rotating part may be the culprit.

Also, the back shock is bad. I was wondering if it can cause shaking and vibration especially when the brake is applied at high speed.

You bought a car that is 21 years old and expect much good from it. The cost of maintenance will be high and difficulty in getting the parts which may not easily be available. Please don't bother traveling with it but use for school run, church, office and market.

My Toyota Camry 09 vibrates at high speed and sometimes when I apply brake or reduce speed. I have changed all tyres, done wheel balancing and alignment. Also checked the CV joint, rotor, shaft. Yet the problem continues, please help.

The people of the state are with SIM and nothing will come out of this impeachment plot. Rivers have the potential to compete with Lagos state but unfortunately politicians are not allowing the state to move forward.

Isssorite. Let there be peace in our beloved state we are extremely backward compared to other states in the country. President Bola Tinubu has appointed a former chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission, Prof Attahiru Jega, as Presidential adviser and coordinator of Presidential Livestock Reforms.

Jega’s appointment was announced in a statement by the Special Adviser to Tinubu on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga in a post on X on Friday night.

Jega was the INEC chairman chairman between 2010 to 2015.

Onanuga wrote, “President Bola Tinubu appoints Professor Attahiru Jega as Presidential adviser and coordinator of Presidential Livestock Reforms.”

Spray carburettor cleaner at the intake air manifold while the car is ON and if the sound changes just know that the gasket is bad. Simply replace the gasket. I spent more that N100,000 on my Corolla before realising this simple problem. You can thank me later.
