I did this stuff too i even showed them the debit slip (cbn already removedthe money a day prior to the interview)...the interviewer said its non of their business if cbn takes a year all they need is a verification that the money has been blocked ....it won't be like that for you insha Allah but be prepared for anything sha cause that block account is mandatory

When did you fund your BA with Form A and which bank did you use.. also how long did it take and was the full amount funded?

So many dignitaries present.. Gov Diri really pull weight

Bizzycutie:
Hello, how long is the waiting period after the interview? Please

It depends on the city
But I'll say between 4 and 8 weeks

Brytcool:

What documents do I need to prepare?

Please put me through 🙏abeg. God bless

Congratulations on your admission offer

The next move is to book for an appointment with the German embassy for a study visa, if you haven't done so already. Check the embassy website for the student visa checklist and that should guide you on what documents to prepare..

Most of the scholarship i have seen so far the range is between €850-750 and they did not go to interview with block account or sponsor letter

Getting the deutschlandstipendium scholarship (€300/month) qualifies you for Cat A. But I've heard in cases like this, you'll need to block the remaining amount required i.e (€934-€300)/month when coming for interview.

No way.. at this rate, na to just sell the country remain

daewoo2010:

SimmieSatara:
I will like to ask if i am using SL do i need health insurance when going for my appointment

Proof of insurance will be required after the interview. But if you already have, you can go with it

in123:
do we have to submit LGA identification letter? I'm trying to get one but I'm not sure I'll be able to before the deadline.

Yes it's required

Landmark2020:
Please can I apply the scholarship with my phone? I am passing out of service by December, can I upload my call up later in place of nysc discharge certificate?

No harm in trying... Go for it

And yes you can apply for the scholarship with your phone, but it's always best to use a PC

samuel3818:
Hi guys. Good evening. So I registered but every time I have attempted to upload documents (transcripts etc)., the site tells me "Check your internet connection". Please does anyone know what I can do? Thank you

Kvngcollinz:

HLion:
Good morning guys, happy Sunday.
For the scholarship, the school I’m applying to, can I pick the course that starts in January or course start month must be September?

It's okay to pick a course starting in January

Both of them will win the match

Cash will still be scarce until a new government officially takes over

Collation commences by 6pm

infectual Buffon's vice dat year!

It's been a while I've seen him

ExpertNLer:
for the applications on PTDF portal, only the courses listed. however after winning the award you can change it to your desired course

Must we tailor our SOP to the courses listed on the PTDF portal, or we can write based on our desired course since we can change courses afterwards?

Waposh:
My fellow people
Applying to uni assist
Must my transcript be certified?
If yes, does that mean I will have to request from my school and still certified it at the high Court?

It depends.. if it's an online-only application via uniassist, you don't need to upload a certified of your transcript.. but if you need to send documents via post, then yes it has to be certified

Immacharles:
Please guys I need your opinions on this matter. I am a chemical engineering graduate and I want to go for masters in Germany but most of the chemical engineering courses and related courses are taught in German, so I decided to go for Msc. Chemistry in Germany. What do you guys think about this?

Search on the DAAD portal properly.. there are a good number of English taught programmes related to Chem Eng.

Good development

Toonerdyy:
It doesn't matter..German language certificate is compulsory for people who intend to school there or even do family reunion... without it i don't think your visa is going to be approved Sha..but try your luck..if e no work..wait another 1 year lol

This is not correct... if your programme will be taught in English, you do not need German language certificate before you will be granted a visa

Layomi95:
Is there anyone here whose program cuts across 2 different countries in Europe. First semester in a different country from Germany while second semester is in Germany but you decide to go through German visa to enter Europe cos it's difficult to get the visa of the country of first contact.

It's not unheard of
It's quite common with Erasmus sponsored programmes

oseremenifidon:
Please help me with an English taught Programme in Germany that does not require IELTS or TOEFL for Nigerians and have high acceptance rate for 2 2 and/ or 3rd class holders.
Preferably government free tuition institution. Thanks

Start your search from the DAAD site

nnanyelugo1:
Please someone should set up a whatsapp group for this thread.

that is not necessary IMO.. best to share all information here on the thread so everyone has access to it

MStar09:
If this is your first time doing an assessment like this, I really suggest that you look online for tips or an idea of how it is.

Don't take the risk and just delve in like that, without an idea, as this will determine if you make it to the next stage.

Good advice
Sha don't waste too much time too
