Hi. I understand you completely. Congratulations on your PPR.

This is the process to send your passport to Accra:
Submitting passport(s) to Accra VFS without using Lagos VFS.

Gather all documents required by IRCC and VFS Accra. Including payment teller(s) for the sum of GHC 405 to ( paid per person to vfs GH's account. (See further instruction on addendum 1 below)

Put all documents in an envelope and proceed to DHL or any courier of your choice and pay for a one-way delivery to:

Canadian Visa Application Centre(In Partnership with International Organisation for Migration),
Baptist Convention House,
Abelemkpe Road,
Abelemkpe,
Info.canghaiom@vfshelpline.com

VFS Global Accra, who will then submit to the high commission.

Addendum 1:

Payment can be made through any family or friend resident in Ghana. There are also agents who can help with this if neccesary.

Other Things to note:
1. Get your tracking number and monitor on DHL tracker till its recieved by Vfs gh
2. Wait for the VFS tracking details— they will give you update on when it will be sent to IRCC and when it will be returned to you
3. Wait for the return of your passport— VFS also uses DHL to return— you don't pay for it, it's included in the GHC 405

You’re better off sending straight to Accra VFS.

Finally, passport came in yesterday and Visa was issued by RROC, guess that’s why it took 8weeks

Got updated that’s it’s in Lagos today and courier has picked up but I’m still unable to track for now. I guess this will all be over by next week.

The first one means it has been received from IRCC Accra and it is with vfs Acraa.

The second means that it will be sent to vfs lagos (or the location you did your biometrics).

That’s why I’m confused regarding the mail I got today. My Copr has been generated since April 22nd

If your son's passport renewal is going to exceed that 30 days, my advice is submit it that way. I've seen someone here on NL that submitted with 4 months left on his passport (passport expiration)

He should also make sure to send directly to Accra VFS to eliminate unnecessary delays too

They won't deliver until after the holidays because I got may 5th for my estimated delivery date.
If you are in Lagos, keep tracking on their website,then call that you want to come and pickup in their office. You should get it before Wednesday

Bro, they finally updated me today. I’ve received 2 mails now to say it’s back to Accra VFS so I think I need to give like 5days to arrive back in Lagos. Do you have an idea if this public holiday will affect further DHL transmission seeing that it will be 3days public holiday

Bro no emails from VFS ever since. Even when I track it still says that it’s at IRCC. I’ll call them first thing in the morning

No other update o. The passport has left IRCC and got to VFS Accra on 22/4. From the timeline posted by Pein, it should take about 2 weeks to get to Lagos. Give an extra day for DHL to pick up and deliver.

I don’t know why vfs takes this long and no priority service as well. They just take so much time for nothing. Oh well, the wait continues

The one I got on 6th April was when VFS Accra received the application. Is that the mail you're referring to?

I got that one too and a second mail stating it had been dispatched to IRCC on that 6th.
This one came in 7th morning

I got that email from VFS the next morning, 7th April. Haven’t heard a thing since then

Yes my bro. I got a message about decision envelope and stuff, and then got another saying my passport has been received and is forwarded to IRCC for processing. I'm kinda confused.

I checked tracking and this is what I saw

It’s 2 emails. The first one with all the unnecessary wordings just confirms that Accra VFS has received the package then the second confirms further transmission to the visa office I think

March 24th - Decision envelope dispatched to lagos vfs
April 1st - Decision envelope arrived Lagos and is ready for collection
April 1st - Decision envelope picked up by DHL
April 5th - Decision envelope delivered to me by DHL
