https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V6-FxV4PPWA?si=mzNm6vteEjTWiZhj Step 1: Import Your Logo Open After Effects. Create a New Project by selecting File > New > New Project. Import Your Logo by going to File > Import > File. Choose your logo file (preferably in vector format, like .AI or .EPS, for better quality). Step 2: Create a New Composition Create a New Composition by selecting Composition > New Composition. Set the parameters such as Width, Height, Frame Rate, and Duration. Drag your logo from the Project Panel to the Timeline panel. Step 3: Preparing the Logo Convert to Editable Layers (if necessary): If your logo is a single layer, you might want to break it into multiple layers for more animation control. You can do this in Illustrator and then import it again. Pre-compose (optional): If your logo consists of multiple layers, consider pre-composing them by selecting the layers, right-clicking, and choosing Pre-compose. Step 4: Animate Your Logo Select the Layer you want to animate. Open the Transform Properties (press P for Position, S for Scale, R for Rotation, T for Opacity). Set Keyframes by clicking the stopwatch icon next to the property you want to animate. Move the playhead to a different time, change the property, and After Effects will create a new keyframe automatically. Animate Position: Move your logo across the screen. Animate Scale: Make your logo grow or shrink. Animate Rotation: Spin your logo. Animate Opacity: Fade your logo in or out. Step 5: Add Effects Go to the Effects & Presets panel. Drag and drop any effect onto your logo layer. Common effects include Glow, Drop Shadow, and Blur. Step 6: Refine Your Animation Use the Graph Editor: This allows you to fine-tune the timing and pacing of your animations. Easy Ease: Select keyframes, right-click, and choose Keyframe Assistant > Easy Ease for smoother animations. Step 7: Preview and Adjust Preview Your Animation by pressing the Spacebar. Adjust your keyframes and effects as needed. Step 8: Render Your Animation Go to Composition > Add to Render Queue. In the Render Queue, adjust your render settings and output module. Click Render. By following these steps, you can create a simple yet effective logo animation in After Effects. |
