gingger:I noticed that too but it's not that the battery drains very fast like that just that it doesn't last as long as when I was on the stock rom or the material rom I flashed before this S5 rom. Guess that's some of the price one has to pay for using the S5 rom. Does the one you flashed has any bug? Cos mine is showing 4G too but the bug it has is that mouthpiece is not working so my callers cannot hear me. If yours is bugless except for the battery ish could you please share the link you downloaded it from? Thanks. |

enoch273:Oga Enoch, you didn't mention anything about this again. Still patiently waiting and I'm sure adoptop is waiting as well. Thanks in anticipation |
oviecardealer:Can you get me the price for a 2000 Mazda MPV then. Thanks. |
Good day Ovie, I have a budget of 900k. What Toyota model can that get me? If possible a space bus. Thanks. |
vower:I'm not sure the Infinix Hot Note has the TV out feature. That means it is not possible to access media files on your TV through USB connection. Sorry. |
vower:I beg to differ on this. The Hot Note is one of the phones I can consider that has one of the best ram management around. Even with the 1GB RAM, it doesn't really lag like some 1GB RAM phones I know. What you see on your screenshot doesn't actually mean that the performance of the phone is affected negatively in any way. |
jemmiee:What I meant is that you can try doing a factory reset so that your phone can go back to it's original state. I just suggested the backup and restore cos I know you won't want to loose all your apps, contacts, etc. Titanium backup would have been a perfect tool for backing up and restoring after the reset but since your phone is not rooted, I already ruled out that option for you. Since you can't do that, you can use the Backup and restore function on the phone to achieve the same thing. You don't need to root your phone to do that. Just backup your apps, contacts, etc to your external SD card, do a factory reset then restore your backup then you should be good after that. |
jemmiee:Why not try doing a backup then do a factory reset and restore your backups then try again. Restoring the phone to its factory settings should sure bring back all its functionalities. I believe the phone has a feature to backup and restore installed user apps already. Titanium Backup would have been a better option to backup and restore but since you are not ready to 'turn your phone into a woman' yet , I guess you can take your chances with the Backup and Restore feature built into the phone.I'm typing this from a computer right now I would have availed you with a screenshot. Will try to when I revert to posting using my phone. Whenever I mess up something on my phone and any of the apps stop working or force closes with that silly 'unfortunately android has stopped' error message, that's what I do. You could give it a trial. |
jemmiee:Ok. Thanks |
jemmiee:Have u tried using otg on yours? |
jemmiee:Thanks. I'm actually talking about being able to use the otg feature. My phone connects to the laptop without any hassles. |
jemmiee:Thanks a bunch! I haven't touched anything on the USB debugging. Do I have to have it unticked? @nonny pls your expertise is needed. Appreciate. |
jemmiee:Pls is there anything that needs to be done before the otg feature can be made to work. Been trying with my hot note but havent been able to get otg to work on it. Appreciate your support. |
cafedeluv:Can you please confirm if this is really the tempered glass type or the nylon type. Will like to confirm if you are talking from the perspective of an actual user or based on what people say. Please is that the particular one you bought if you have it? Sorry for all the questions. I just want to confirm if it is really the glass screen protector type. Thanks. |
zheroes:The only sensible comment on this thread so far. |
towncheerup:I didn't tweak anything after installing the required modules via Xposed Framework. Only that I had my phone already tweaked with Gravity Box long before trying this last night. |
One other thing I noticed after trying this apart from my phone looking new with a smooth and cool look and feel is the performance. The phone now seem faster. I use an Infinix Hot Note and sometimes always worry about the fact that its 1gb RAM but since flashing this, the performance has kinda improved. Was considering the Hot Note Pro before but with my new experience with this Lollipop UI, I think I'll pass for now. |
Weirdman:I think Carlcare is your best friend in this regard. |
lanre316:You can actually use your micro SIM on another phone. All you need do is to position the chip of the SIM properly so that the phone detects it. The way technology is going it will come to a time when you won't find mini SIMs again as technology is trying to make everything smaller (Miniaturisation ). Even computers once upon a time used to be as big as a whole room. #EmbraceChange ![]() |
samintegrity:I use Rhoesoft RAM expander. I prefer the Samsung feel that's why I go for the S launcher. Wouldn't have had to worry about RAM if the iHot Note had been 2gb RAM. |
enoch273:Sorry how do I get to build prop? Can u pls explain in better detail? Sorry about your lost phone. God will provide the means to get another one soonest and bless u abundantly. Thanks. |
Combination of S Launcher, 7Null and Gravity box. Guys, did it come out right?
|
enoch273:Oga enoch273 biko if u can put me through how to do that I'll very much appreciate it. Let me know how to go about contacting u pls |
proffnico:Can you please expatiate. Don't really get the gravity box part. |
proffnico:Aside from the icon pack, what theme are you using? I want to be able to get rid of the ugly green stock battery icon and replace with only the percentage just the way yours is displayed. |
Zannx:Thanks I've been able to figure it out. I actually use S Launcher. I just activated the 7Null theme UI in S Launcher and that did the trick. |
proffnico:Sorry can u walk me thru how to activate the icon pack? I've installed it already. Do I have to install any of the recommended themes to be able to activate it to look like yours? A walk-through will be appreciated. Thanks |
proffnico:g Sorry can u walk me thru how to activate the icon pack? I've installed it already. Do I have to install any of the recommended themes to be able to activate it to look like hours? A walk-through will be appreciated. Thanks |
proffnico:That's one of many ways to do it. One was explained by nonny400 earlier using system Uninstaller By the way, what is the name of that your theme? |
adewarle:Add me 08024794098 |
adoptop70:Link to the video you are referring to. |

, I guess you can take your chances with the Backup and Restore feature built into the phone.
