It's becoming very obvious that this our country is a modern day jungle, where any one or group of people can come up and unleash terror at will, except when they are unfortunate that is when they get caught. if boko haram dies a natural death, this rush and huge vote of funds for security will die a natural death and all the money goes into people's pockets. we nigerians forget easily that is why this same jungle state we are in now will stare us in the face when next another group rises up.
The Lord is my shepherd! i believes so for all well meaning nigerians too.

What i just want to say is that pastor Bakare should not be judged, reason we have seen people that led movements martin luther king jr, Desmond tutu etc we know what their country is today, what i believe in is that we don't only pray but we need to act, my submission is this, the prilate is praying and Bakare is acting! Rom 14:1-3.crucify no one let God be the judge of this issue.

i agree with what Ribadu said, that which the NLC can do is minimal, what i think will help curb this manace called curruption is for those who have the proof of currupt leaders and public servants (just like the case of NNPC) to publish it and the people should decide when to go after such people en-mass. what i know is if those who curruptly enrich themselves particularly with public funds are made by the people to become very uncomfortable in our communities this will go along way in reducing curruption. lets stop hailing them and any that runs away we go for his family because whatever he/she steals from the people his/her family will benefit from it.(if this becomes a general thing everyone knows; families will warn their own in public office).

another unfortunate case of no one cares!we've had several water mishap in this country, the aftermath of all this must have brought an agency in charge of inland waterways safety; where are they? once they have been tipped all is well,the operators also do not care about the lives of the people in case a mishap, the commuters did not come together to make lifejacket a must before boarding. sad some might complain but many will say E NO GO HAPPEN why u dey think bad thing.lets see if someone will be held responsible, that is the only way to stop bad things happening.may the soul of the departed RIP.

many congratulations!!! i don't agree with the trying to keep your best hands, it's simply selfishness; or a way of scuttling his progress. if he had waited would he have achieve this? the answer is no, as they have done to many, if his salary is not paid & he protests he could be sacked so what happens, regret & seeking employment, but now far better offers are begging for his signature. my advice is if you find urself in such sitution don't be fooled with you're our best, if that oppotunity passses they will treat you like shit, you might end up blaming urself('have seen it happen to people).

i agree there are enough laws to tackle corruption, implementation becomes difficult because in this country we celebrate wealth(no matter how it came),once this continues we can't stop it. i once work with a fabrication company(oil&gas) that has a phillipino as one of it's expatriate, he had problems with his government on how he got that kind of money to build his mansion & bank account, it was our company that gave proof of legitimate resources, before he was left alone his been here in nigeria as expatriate since middle 1980's & still here now.here it's different. e.g one time military gov of Lagos during his tenor all he did was to close markets,Lagosians where shouting, he was removed with promotion to brigadier general i think he is now a former gov in the south west, who will impliment it when they see the leaders promoting it?

sincerely atimes when i look at the resources of this country given free by God, and i see/feel what we are going through, i think atimes that this british amalgamation might be a mistake. it pains me to think of parents nursing a child through school & when they are happy,some getting relieved of expences/coupled with strikes now & then, the child is told to go & serve his/her father land (when they are not soldiers that sign death in the cause of duty)some people pick on them & slaughter them because they are from another part of the country. only the families that are concerned really know how if feels.( 'am sorry i deviated abit).

Dis story get as he be:they heard gunshots or rumors of gunshots& still went out @3am;came acros a policeman shot about 5mins earlier, in about 3 positions,ABANDONED by his patrol or checkpoint colleagues& obviously still bleeding but alive;braved d dangers& took him in d car to d nearest,& maybe one of d most expensive hospitals in lagos state,where he was saved!Uhn.
