Ozo and Dora will make a very interesting pair ![]() |
Is it just me or has big brother's voice returned to what we knew last year? |
thatigboman:It's only Lilo he knows anything about in that house. |
thatigboman:Na the first selling point na. Everyother thing na jara. ![]() |
I want Kiddwaya. If I was in that house, I'll follow him around the way Lilo follows Eric. ![]() |
I hate to be in conversations with people like Neo and Praise at the same time. Always trying to out do each other with yeye gist. So draining ![]() |
ModestGal:She's really beautiful. Does anyone know her name? |
BluntTheApostle:Exactly what I called him the very first time I saw him. |
I like Prince a lot. |
Just see how this girl has wasted somebody else's spot to be on big brother. ![]()

brendybliss1:Did your interview hold? |
MorrisEbosie:Hi MorrisEbosie, I'm afraid the application for 2020/2021 session is closed. However I suggest you keep checking http://www.funding-guide.de/ . There are always so many calls for application for different countries. The good thing is that you can refine the search. The particular one I applied for was for students in sub Saharan Africa. The deadline is usually on the 31st of October. It is a plus to already have an admission but you can apply while still applying for admission. The requirements are always stated in the call for application but let me mention a few requirements helps boost the application. 1) You must have a 1st class or second class upper division in your first degree. A good masters degree if you are going for PhD. 2) Your last degree should not be more than 6 years old. 3) Being in academics is an advantage 4) Having up to 2 years work experience is an advantage 5) IELTS band 6 and above 6) If you are going for a PhD, having some publications is an advantage 7) Being in STEM is an advantage 8 ) Good letter of motivation for Masters applicants and good Project proposal for PhD applicants. 9) PhD applicants should already have an agreement with a university Professor for supervision. 10) Curriculum vitae in table format 11) Good references from your University lecturers and/or employer 12) Try as much as possible to obey instructions and ensure your application is complete. Don't leave out any requirement hoping they will consider. These are all I could recall right now. Some important points might be missing. |
Visum Alert! What a journey. DAAD scholarship application submission: October 31, 2018 I submitted a few hours to the deadline. I was pregnant and my brain felt like it was stuffed with cotton wool. I had to write a PhD proposal and my brain was just not working. I almost gave up but my husband keep pushing and encouraging me. It's still a miracle how I was able to beat the deadline. DAAD Scholarship: March 13 I gave birth to my daughter on the same day. Double blessing. No, the excitement didn't push me into labour. My baby came first. ![]() AD: July 18 Got there before 6am. I was the first person they attended to because I was a breastfeeding mother. Mr Paulinus was very gentle and kind. The VO told me I applied too early and that I would have to go back and book a new appointment in October. I almost broke down in tears. I had travelled from the east to Lagos with my husband and my little baby because I was exclusively breastfeeding. Spent almost 200k on return flight tickets and hotel bills and dude wanted to send me back. Ha! I started begging with everything in me. Thankfully, he was able to get permission from his superior to accept my application. However, he told me that it would not be processed till October. Pheew! I didn't post an interview transcript because there was none! He just took my documents and got my biometrics and told me that the interview was over. I was confused. He wanted to return my passport and I told him to keep it. I mean, I had submitted my application with my insurance documents so, there was really no point for me to have to send the passport later. The VO was really nice and cheerful. AM: October 21st They just requested for my travel date. I responded on the same date. And then the wait began. I saw people getting their visa few days after AM and I was wondering why they had forgotten me. Fear. Anxiety. Confusion. I started sending emails. No response. Because my prepaid envelope was more than 3 months, I couldn't track it. I didn't know if they had sent it and got missing along the way. Emailed dhl last week and they had to check their archives and confirmed that it hadn't been sent. I called the embassy, the lady told me to check back next week. I decided to take my mind off it and focus on my work. Voila! Visum: November 15 Start date: December 2 Thanks guys for all the updates! Here is to more AMs and Visa. And scholarship! |
doppelganger10:Congratulations! Please were you informed before they dispatched your visum? |
Please for those that have received their visa, were you called by the embassy to inform you that it had been dispatched? |
Cancel and start rebooking by April 2020 category B. If a date is not forthcoming, don't wait for so long before cancelling and rebooking. Angelovic96: |
Ibitowaoa:Were you booked for a language course prior to the start of your program? I am also a DAAD scholar and i got an appointment date less than 12 hours after applying but that was in May. I suggest you simply apply for the appointment and tick that you have a scholarship and see what happens. |
AwkaetitiBabe:You people should fear God oo! |
DOptical:By all means, let's make it about Tacha. ![]() |
Elo's eviction looks like a chip off Diane's shoulders. See how at peace she is. |
Geezeem:Take heart too. It is well. |
Lol! Biggy collected 41.66% vote money from Tacha before disqualifying her! Big brother na thief las las. And Tacha na mumu las las las. |
My heart hurts. I'll miss my guy. Ike, you were worth every penny I used to vote for you. Go and prosper! |
SkgeeBoss:But are you not seeing that the crocodile tears are peppering some people? |
Chibabe005:Nyash surgery is like an investment. Whether you are a bread winner or not, if you want your business to boom, you have to pump in more money into it. |
omamush:Lol. Denola Gray. He's cute though. |
YES LEAVE, YES TRANSFER! ![]() |
Borussia1:Lol. Looks like you stopped watching after they disqualified her. Seyi was hoping to gloat in her face if she ended up not winning the money. But see Ike, he has never had a problem with her. Please stan Ike. He's the only person in the house that never exchanged words with her. |
Tacha fans please vote Ike. He never had issues with her. Biko nu? |
Beorn1:Ebuka should hurry and come and take this Elozonam away. This dude is always whining. So irritating. He wants to be alone yet he wants her to be there for him. Confused human being. Very talented but freaking annoying. |
