Read my comments very well, l never said the standard is low, the quality might be the same,but, to be candid with you when the chips are down some organisation tend to lean towards those who came with foreign qualification even if they might be the same with their affiliates here in the UAE. Yes i have been following silently , and once again i want to thank you for the good work you doing here. Sir , i know what you are talking about but students here have an advantage in the sense that they get necessary experience before they graduate as they have an opportunity to intern or even get full employment before they graduate.

properly, l have tasted Education abroad/western world and it cannot be compared to what l have seen here, even if you choose to study here, most organisation will rate a foreign certificates/degree/diploma over the ones obtained here in the Middle East....................goodluck.

ogakpatakpata, i must commend you for the good work you doing here, however i want to disagree with you that the quality of education is low here in uae. i did my master here and i can proudly say the quality is as high as anywhere in the world, bear in mind several universities here are direct affiliates of the western university. hult mba in uae for example is the same level of education as will be obtainable in any of their 5 campuses around the world. In my own honest opinion coming in as a student is actually one of the best ways to migrate here, most of the people i know here that have good jobs, working with multi nationals came here as a student . fact

hi all,i am a student here now and i will personally advice Nigerians looking at studying in Dubai to apply to other universities other than middlesex university as their are other better universities like Wollongong,American university etc.In respect to tuition here is not as cheap as u might think a postgraduate will cost around 20000-30000 dollars in most uni.lest i forget accommodation here na die be ready to pay upwards of 700 dollars for a room in Dubai except you want to get a place in sharjah which is much cheaper.

Am also quite surprise when i see all these analysis because i livè in dubai and here as a student you are made to do hiv test every year to renew your visa and you hardly hear of any nigerian béen deported because they have hiv .

am about booking a flight to dubai, am thinking of a one way ticket cos i want to save some money for myself my agent advise me against doing so as the airline might not want to fly me cos of the one way ticket i have.the visa i have is a temporary 2 month visa that will be change to a 1 yr study visa.
my purpose of traveling is for my postgraduate study and am been sponsor by my university.

@promise am not getting through quite easily, Abubakar has not been replying mails until his boss was copied was when i got to know that the course i earlier applied for wont be offer this session because they didn't get enough student for the course,i was then advice to applied for another course which i did,hopefully i should get it coming week.will update as soon as i get it.

@ Lagishan i got the admission but was later inform that they wont be starting the program this autumn because they didnt get enough student for the program i applied for,i have applied for another course base on the recommendation of the uowd representative i applied through .
