My brother, let me tell you that your life is more important to you than the money. On other hand you need to be very careful with this matter. The Lawyers are perfect and they are difficult to get the money back from. The mistake you made is that you should have sick for advice before making any payment and also you should have verified from the Lands / Government before making payment at all. Now that you have made a mistake, my advice for you is to take is very easy by just going to Lagos State mediation Centre to call The Lawyer, yourself and other parties to gether and resolved it for you. If there is any money to be paid, it you not be paid to you but the Lawyer should write a statement with the Lagos Statement Ministry of Justice - Medication Centre that He will pay the money back at a stipulated date of which you will come and collect your money from The Lagos State Mediation Centre - Alausa Ikeja.
