In your relationship with God, one place you need to get to is the place of brokenness. To be broken is to have some form of injury that makes the object less than a whole. In spiritual parlance, it is to break or subdue the flesh in order to be more profitable to the Kingdom of God. Why do you need to be broken? You need to be broken in order to put the flesh where it belongs. Until you get to the point of brokenness, your life will operate in the body - soul - spirit order of priority, which means that the body will be in control of the spirit. In 1 Corinthians 9:27, Paul says, "But I keep under my body, and bring it into subjection: lest that by any means, when I have preached to others, I myself should be a castaway". If you fail to subdue your body, it will disgrace you when you least expect. Another reason for brokenness is that it helps you to lose grounds which God will occupy. That is, it creates room for God. The more broken you are, the greater the space the spirit can fill up within you. Brokenness also helps us to be true ambassadors of Christ - making us to represent Him as we should. 2 Corinthians 5:20 says, "Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ's stead, be ye reconciled to God". Without being broken, most believers would put off others who were about to enter the Kingdom. Take for instance, the fellow who is insulted by an unbeliever and retaliates. How could such a believer ever hope to win that soul to Christ? If you are not broken, it may be difficult to see the fruit of the Spirit manifesting in you. Are you broken? To what extent are you allowing the flesh? What measures have you put in place to subdue the flesh? From today, ask God to break you, and fill you with His fullness.

Also,in Luke 5:33-35,wen some pple came 2 ask d Lord y His disciples hardly eva fasted,He told dem as long as He was wit dem,dere was no need 4 dis but dat when He is taken away,dey will hav no choice but to fast. "But d days will come,wen d bridegroom shall be taken away 4rm dem,nd den shall dey fast in dose days"Luke 5:35.Dose who make excuses not 2 fast usually hav a challenge wit deir appetite.Dey serve a god called d god of d belly,nd dat belly is ever asking for food sacrifices unto it.Never bcom a slave 2 ur stomach! If u re nd dere is a reason 2 skip a meal,dat body will be in trouble.Your body is capable of adjusting 2 any condition.If u re eating five times a day,it will adjust accordingly.But if u change three times daily,dere will be some resistance initially,but it will adjust.If u move 4rm three to two times daily,once daily or none 4 a period,it will protest,but ova a given period it will adjust.Dose who find it difficult 2 fast often hav anoda challenge with self control which is part of d fruit of d spirit. D more u deny ur body of food during fasting,d less control it has in manipulating ur prayer life nd leading u into sin. From today,make out time 2 seek God's face in prayer and fasting.It is advisable 2 fast @ least one day in a week.It is 4 ur spiritual health.

As a bona fide member of the Kingdom of God, you must be a proof of His power to save. Matthew 1:21 says Jesus shall save His people from sin. 1 John 1:7 says His blood cleanses us from all sins. If the power to save was demonstrated in the life of anybody at all, it was in the life of Paul. In 1 Timothy 1:15 he says, "This is a faithful saying, and worthy of all acceptation, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners; of whom I am chief". He could say this because he realised how far he had gone before Jesus saved him. What about your life? Can you say you have not observed changes in your life from the time you received Jesus into your life? If you have, share it with others. The testimonies of salvation these days are too shallow: when you hear some people talk, you would think they were saints all along. Let your life prove that He can transform lives. Where are the evidences of a changed life? However, you need the power of the Spirit to produce the proof. Power simply means the ability to do work. Philippians 4:13 says I can do all things by the power of Jesus Christ. God wants to use you to heal the sick so that you can truly say Jesus has the power to heal. He wants to use you to cast out demons and bring joy, peace and freedom to the captives so that you can be His witness in all these areas. When the devil takes over a life, he can do things that are negatively incredible e.g. the mad man of Gadara. On the positive side, if you are full of the Holy Ghost, God will use you to do great things that will baffle you. Are you ready for God to use you these last days? Draw closer to the Holy Spirit as never before. MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!

Besides prosperity and comfort, another thing that can divert ur attention while running the race is resting before u reach ur goal. Your goal is Heaven and on earth we have no resting place. The wise men of Matthew 2:1-16 kept on travelling for a period of two years following the star. A period of resting would have been appealing to them, but because they had to reach their goal, and the star they were following was still moving, they kept on going for that whole period. If they had called for a rest, they would have missed their trail. Why are u declaring a rest when u have not reached ur goal? Calling for rest before its time will always lead the fellow into trouble. When David was jumping from cave to cave, he did not commit adultery. But in 2 Samuel 11:1, he was resting when he should be at war, so Satan gave him another assignment which he did very well and lived to regret. The short period of rest led him into certain sins that brought the sword upon his generations. Moreover, another diversion from the race is taking ur eyes off the star. When the wise men entered Herod's palace, they could no more see the star. All they were seeing was the glittering glory of an earthly king, while they were supposed to be on their way to the King of kings. When u take off ur eyes from the Lord and place it on someone else or something else, u have diverted. When we were young Christians, we learnt not to look unto our leaders but Christ because human beings can disappoint u. I have been severally disappointed by people I looked up to, those I thought were better than me. I got the greatest disappointment from the fellow who brought me to Christ. Never look up to ur pastor, minister, general overseer, etc. They can disappoint u any day. Look up to Jesus. Many pastors are living in sin on a regular basis today. Speaking of aspirations and ambitions in life, if all you can achieve on earth is for your name to enter and remain in the most important book in the universe - the Book of Life, it is worth it. On the Day of Judgment, many whose names were in earth's halls of fame will be shown the way to the eternal lake of fire just because their names were missing from this great book. In Egypt, Shiphrah and Puah decided to fear the Almighty God and their names were written in the Bible. You must make sure your name is written in the Book of Life and that it remains there as long as you are alive. If you are born-again, you have a divine passport. But it will take the Book of Life to determine those who will be issued visa of rapture or entry visa at death into planet Heaven. There are many people who have their country's passport and may never travel to any country outside their place of birth. So also there are many souls who have the heavenly passport but will not be granted entry at death because they lack the visa. There are testimonies of some brethren who died but God allowed them to return to the earth. When they died, they got to Heaven's gate because they had the passport -were born-again, but they were denied entry for lack of visa. For your name to remain in the Lamb's Book of Life, you must be holy. You must live a life of full obedience to God. You must clear all your debts - both to God and to men. You must have served the Lord and not yourself while on earth. You must have lived a life that impacted men and woman and glorified God. You must have had a blossoming relationship with the Holy Spirit until the time of rapture or death. Are you saved? Do you have this visa to Heaven? Check your life now, and make amends today. Do you know that some people are only going about with titles but they have lost their true spiritual essence? King Saul was still on the throne for years after David was anointed as king.

For ur request to be granted,u have to apply relevant keys.Many people desire financial breakthrough but are not prepared to apply the right key; unsurprisingly the door just won't open. 2 Corinthians 9:6 says you must sow bountifully and if u don't sow,do not expect a harvest.Do u know some people are expecting a harvest when they have not sowed? For such people,their harvest will come as a big bang that will attract people but it will have nothing in it.What a shame that will be! But that will not be ur portion. However,it is not enough to sow; u must adhere to all the conditions necessary for good harvest.For instance,in the parable of the sower documented in Matthew 13:3-8,seeds must be sown on good soil.Any seed sown on bad soil has automatically been lost and the harvest lost.What is a bad soil? A bad soil is a soil that God does not want u to sow into at that material time,no matter how logical or pressing the need is.If God says u should not give to a particular individual and u disobey thinking u know more than God,or u know how much the fellow is in need,u have acted in disobedience and lost both seed and harvest.If care is not taken,u may even get punished. A bad soil is also one that glorifies Satan openly or secretly while claiming to be a godly organisation.Any church, ministry or 'servant of God' that uses a contrary spirit or still offers sacrifices,dialogues with spirits of the dead or indulges in any occultic activity is a bad soil. Sowing there is sowing directly into Satan's kingdom.A bad soil is equally sowing into a cause that will increase the flamboyance, empty pride and sinful lifestyle of its recipient.If a particular man of God is calling for donations over which he may not account for,or which will enable him sustain a riotous lifestyle - ride the biggest cars,live in the most expensive mansions,or live in sin,such seeds are lost.Ask to be led of God before u sow in causes that are not clear to u,lest u waste ur seed and lose ur harvest.

You can overcome the attacks of the devil if you can simply obey God's Word.Before taking on the devil,be sure of your salvation because the salvation of many today is questionable.Many are pretenders and have really never answered the altar call for salvation at any time.At the time they should be answering the altar call of Calvary,they are already ushers,Sunday school teachers or even pastors.This is one reason we must be very careful before bringing an individual into the work force particularly in new parishes where they need workers. Ensure such an individual is genuinely saved and not just that he or she is zealous and regularly attends church programmes. "Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold,all things are become new" 2 Corinthians 5:17. How do you know that you are truly saved? It is by assessing the change your salvation has brought to your life.Nebuchadnezzer was negatively born-again. How? When he went to bed he was a king but the following morning he had turned into an animal (Daniel 4:20-33).If you say you are born-again and you are still doing the evil things that you used to do,it shows you are not born-again.When I was saved,we were taught about salvation, sanctification, batism in the Holy Spirit etc.We were rooted in the Word.But today,there are all kinds of teachers who play down these doctrines and only emphasise salvation and water baptism.That is why you see people who speak in tongues yet they go and fornicate; people who indulge in alcohol and yet claim to be in God's service.Let us get back to the basics! In addition, to overcome Satan's attacks,pray without ceasing. Remember that Satan and his demons are fallen angels who never tire,rest or sleep.Ask that the Lord Jesus who prayed for Peter should also pray for you. No matter how holy or careful you are,if God does not keep you,you will surely fall. We are kept by the power of God.

When God set out to deliver the children of Israel from Egypt, it was to take them out of captivity and bondage and to lift them up. God has come to take you out of your current location in the miry clay to your promised land - a land flowing with milk and honey. This simply tells us that the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob is the God of promotion. When He promotes you, nobody can demote you. Psalm 75:5-7 says promotion comes from God but He can decide to effect it through any medium. If you catch this revelation, your attitude to God, your boss and your work place will be redefined. If God is the One to promote you, you will not break your relationship with Him. Also, you will not have to compromise your faith in any way. The fear of being denied promotion has made many believers to switch from serving God to serving their boss. Never let any superior or boss rob you of your relationship with God! God still promotes. There is no promotion that takes place without the knowledge of God. If He says your time for promotion has come; there is nothing anybody anywhere can do about it. This season, the Lord shall promote you. Moreover, when He is set to promote you, it does not matter where the enemies have kept you; you are coming out and going up! For instance, He can locate you in the miry clay and take you up according to Psalm 40:1-3. He can also go to the dunghill to pick you up from there and set you up among nobles and princes and nobody will be able to challenge you (1 Samuel 2:. He can take you from any depth and lift you up to any height. He can lift you beyond any level any man can take you. When he decides to promote you, even the sky will be your starting point. This season, the Godhead is taking a decision to promote someone, to take the fellow from the depths to heights. That fellow is you. Thankfully receive your promotion today!

It is one thing to receive the anointing and another to keep on growing in it.There are people who had the anointing,but today, everything has virtually ebbed out.It is possible to connect with the Holy Spirit and to continue to flow in the power of the anointing even at increasing levels.If this is your desire,then you cannot toy with sin. "Thou hast loved righteousness, and hated iniquity; therefore God, even thy God, hath anointed thee with the oil of gladness above thy fellows" Hebrews 1:9. The anointing and righteousness have a symbiotic relationship.If you are living in sin, the Holy Spirit will keep a distance from you and so will the anointing. If you are holy,the anointing can easily flow through you.If you want higher levels of the anointing or you want to sustain it,then you must increase your level of holiness and be far separated from sin. You can say you know of some people who are not living holy,yet they still have power.I have seen a lot of people who operated under a demonic power,usually their end is disastrous.There are two kinds of power - God's power and the power of the devil which he stole from man.Goliath is an example of someone with demonic power.If you study carefully,you will find out that like Goliath,the devil uses his agent for a while and abandons them to destruction down the line.Satan has no value for the life of his devotees! He is also not committed to them beyond a certain point.But our God is committed to the end.He will defend His anointed.Whenever His anointed faces the agents of darkness,God is even more present in such situations.Hook up with the Holy Spirit because,of all the personalities in the Godhead,He is the most jealous of His holiness.The word 'holy' is not used before the name of the Father or the Son,but the Holy Spirit cannot do without it. This is why He is present with those who value His holiness. Little wonder He is rightly called Holy Spirit.

Another way God executes deliverance is by the law of substitution.Proverbs 11:8 says, "The righteous is delivered out of trouble,and the wicked cometh in his stead". At oftentimes,if a particular incident that has been slated against the righteous must surely be carried out,God gives the captor an alternative.Take for instance,when the three Hebrew children were thrown into the fire of Nebuchadnezzar,they came out unhurt,but the king's strongest and most outstanding men,who bound,carried and threw them into the fire were all roasted even though they did not physically enter the fire(Daniel 3:19-22).The enemies that are after your life will lose their best hands in your place.Similarly,the lions that refused to eat up Daniel,ate those who threw him into the den(Daniel 6:24).The lions that have been sent to devour you and members of your family will return to devour those who sent them on that evil mission. A sister once told me she had a dream that her husband travelled abroad and they brought back his corpse.She was concerned because her dreams always come true.So we prayed.The following Sunday she was in church and there was no indication that anything was wrong.The following day,her husband's name appeared on the obituary pages of the dailies.I called her to enquire what happened.She said God had answered our prayer because her husband travelled and returned safely.She however said that,his brother who was not a born-again Christian also travelled but they brought back his corpse.Whenever you face an enemy too strong to handle,call on Jesus,asking Him to be your ally.In the name of Jesus,the law of substitution will work for you from today.Every spirit of death sent against you will claim one of those sending it.God will give men for you and your family,and people will die in your place.Your enemies will know that you serve a living God. In 2 Timothy 4:10,Demas-a co-labourer with Paul was floored by his love for the world.He became a victim of comfort.Today,many people are also becoming prayerless and shifting their faith or trust from God to uncertain riches.They are now tending towards believe that money can fix everything.If you are in such a situation,repent fast before it is too late.It is certain that anyone who served God with his heart while poor,but could not sustain it after wealth and comfort came,is not fully persuaded of his or her faith in Christ.In Romans 8:38-39,Paul says, "For I am persuaded,that neither death,nor life,nor angels,nor principalities,nor powers,nor things present,nor things to come,Nor height,nor depth,nor any other creature,shall be able to separate us from the love of God,which is in Christ Jesus our Lord". If you go through Paul's list,you will observe a man who is completely sold out to God.He has nothing to look back to having burnt his bridges.Many people still operate a plan B with God.Such people say: let me try God 80% and still put my leg in something else 20% so that should God fail,i will not lose out completely.Do not waste your time! If that is how your commitment is to God, He will definitely fail you.Any time you share your trust in God with someone else or something else,it is no longer God you are trusting in.If wealth can separate you from God,it shows you have not truly decided to follow Jesus.You are not persuaded.Paul says if he is threatened with death he will not deny Christ.He declares that even if all the angels in Heaven were to revolt against God today(which is not possible) and they talk him into denying Christ,they will simply be wasting their time.He says forces of darkness - no matter how vicious, cannot make him stop loving Jesus.He says no present or future technological advancement can take his faith in Christ away from him. He says no promotion or demotion can rob him of Jesus.No love for anything can break him away from Christ.That is a man who is fully persuaded! If any of these things can break you from Christ,you are not persuaded. How persuaded are you?

One outstanding need that divine midwives must satisfy is to have their names written in the Book of Life.This is the most important book in the universe.Given modern trends and need for details,most institutions have various books in which records are kept and can be retrieved in years to come.Every organisation has a staff register while clubs have membership registers. Most countries of the world have issued out social security numbers or national identity numbers in which certain details of their citizens are held. Apart from these, there are organisations that document great achievements within a section of the world or across the whole world. Some of such documentations are referred to as book of records.Many people strive for their names to enter a particular book of records,and when this is done they appear fulfilled as they have nothing else to strive for. Of all books of records, there is one that is most outstanding. It is about human beings but it is not on earth.It documents the names and certain details about everyone who is saved and washed by the blood of Jesus.Since it is not accessible on earth,it cannot be influenced or manipulated. Human beings record only the information that is accessible to them such as the number of births, deaths, marriages, etc.,but in the case of the Book of Life,no record escapes the angels in charge of this book.For now,this book may appear not so important to many,but according to Revelation 20:11-15,after death and on the day of the Great White Throne Judgment,that book will be very relevant.If your name is in all the important books and halls of fame on earth, by the time you die,those books will no longer be relevant.Your fate will be decided by the presence or absence of your name in the Book of Life.So if there is one book your name should be written in,it is the Lamb's Book of Life. How? By confessing your sins, asking for forgiveness and accepting JESUS CHRIST as your Lord and Saviour.

Who is like unto You... JESUS!!! You are the Lion and the Lamb, the Word of the Father, forever You remain the same

Every blessing worth its salt requires a key without which the seeker cannot access it.While some people have never experienced open doors,others once did,but the doors hitherto opened to them have been shut.In 1 Samuel 16:14,the door which opened to you but is now shut shall be reopened to you again and what you lost shall be restored in Jesus name.It is good to enjoy open doors but far much better is that such doors remain permanently open.There is nothing good about being an ex-champion! God promised that you will be head (Deuteronomy 28:13).This is another way of saying your door into headship shall remain open. Similarly,when David wrote in Psalm 23:5-6,that he has a table of provision without enemy intrusion or attack,and that he enjoys the operation of goodness and mercy all his days,he was also saying that his open doors will be sustained.In the name that is above every other name,every good door that the Lord opens to you from today shall be permanently open. Why then do we need to pray? It is to receive help through the key that is given to us.Exodus 15:26 for instance is a key to healing and good health.It says if only you will listen diligently to God's voice and observe all His commands,that He will insure you against disease that come on unbelievers because He is your healer.If you are sick you can apply that key and claim with thanksgiving your healing and it shall be yours.In the same way,if you have been battling with growing your church or local assembly,apply the key in John 12:32.it says,"And I,if I be lifted up from the earth,will draw all men unto me". If you can lift Him up through high praise and heartfelt spirit-filled worship,He will magnetise people to Himself and in so doing,your church will grow.A church full of praise and worship is a growing church.Apply this key! Every blessing in God's word equally has its key embedded in one promise of God or another. Stop praying without backing it up with the relevant key or promise!

Besides discouragement,another weapon Satan uses often against believers is their weaknesses.He simply studies an individual for a period of time and not long after,he identifies d fellow's weakness and capitalises on it.Take for instance Peter.Satan discovered that Peter is a cowardly person - lacking in courage.He discovered this on d day Peter set out to walk on water with Jesus.He kept this close to his chest until Jesus was about to be crucified; then he arranged d circumstances and Peter thrice denied his Master.That denial was so fundamental that,but for d Lord's post-resurrection intervention,it could have kept Peter permanently separated from d Lord.Do u deny Jesus in some little way today? Are u afraid of declaring ur faith in Christ? If u are doing certain things or avoiding certain things so that people around u do not know that u are a born-again Christian,deal with that weakness now before d devil hijacks it and gets u to deny Christ when it is a matter of life and death. Revelation 12:10 calls d devil d accuser of believers.The Lord had earlier seen Satan's plan to destroy Peter; therefore he prayed for him.He also put him on notice so that he could be on his guard (Luke 22:31-34).On d day of d Lord's trial,Satan was set for Peter.When Peter fell,Satan quoted God's word that whoever denies d Lord before men shall be denied by d Lord in heaven; and also that: no liar will enter heaven.Count three of d devil's charge was that: it is written,Curse not and Peter had cursed and sworn.He had several counts against him but thank God that d mercy of God was brought to bear in his situation.This was also why d Lord worked at getting him fully restored by thrice demanding a confession of his love for Him (John 21:15-19).Beloved,if Satan should have any grounds for accusing us today,he will rightfully quote relevant scriptures to back up his claims.This is why u must overcome ur weakness and quit sinning secretly so as not to give him anything to charge u with.

God is great but He humbles Himself to d level of His children to deliver them.The one who will deliver you must be stronger than d enemy holding u captive.The reason He is able to deliver is because He is stronger than all ur enemies put together.This is why in Psalm 24:7-10,He is called d Lord strong and mighty,d Lord mighty in battles and d Lord of Host.It does not matter d enemy fighting u,as long as d One who is mighty in battle is on ur side,u will definitely be victorious.Even if u are d one who got yourself into Satan's captivity - that is,u are a lawful captive - if u call on Him,He will deliver u (Isaiah 49:24-26). Many years ago,there was a wedding in my village and I was invited to preach on that day.I had been away from home for a long time because of d many things I had suffered from d hands of witches and wizards for 13 years.On arrival at d wedding,i saw many of them and had to change my message.I dared them to come out of darkness or get ready to be roasted.When d sermon was over,i left,but d witches went to confront d mother of d bride,saying that she invited them so that I could insult them.They threatened to wait for d lady after conception and that she will never deliver d baby.When her daughter became pregnant,d mother wrote to tell me d trouble I had brought to her.I smiled and replied that on the day of delivery,d witches will be asleep.The lady came to d camp for a programme while d witches were planning for the delivery date.She went into labour at d camp and within 10minutes,she had delivered.Similarly,during a particular convention we had in America,news came that some people had planted a bomb at d auditorium,which was set to explode at 1a.m. of d Holy Ghost night.My children panicked but I asked them to relax knowing that d God that I serve can neutralise any bomb,because He says no weapon formed against us shall prosper. However,just as d positive supernatural is linked with d Holy Spirit,so also is d negative supernatural linked with d devil and his demons.In Acts 1:8 and Luke 24:48-49,d Lord told d disciples not 2 go out 2 preach until dey receive d power of d Holy Spirit.In Acts 19:11-12,God performed special miracles by d hand of Paul.U may wonder wat facilitated this.To answer dat,u may want to look at what he did more dan other brethren.Based on his testimony in 1 Corinthians 14:18,d manifestation of d supernatural in a special way in his life must have been facilitated by d fact dat he spent more time praying in d Holy Spirit than all other brethren.This simply tells us dat d way u relate with d Holy Spirit in ur closet will determine d outward or public results dat will accompany u.If u invest time worshipping and praising Him,speaking in d language He freely gave 2 u and u live holy before Him,u will never be far 4rm d miraculous.The Holy Spirit is d Chairperson of d Body of Christ while Jesus is still d owner.If u want 2 be relevant,u must link up with d Spirit of Truth.Do u monitor ur relationship with Him? Do u hear d voice of d Spirit? Wen u do,do u obey promptly? Are there certain errands He sent u dat u are yet 2 carry out? He is a very gentle Spirit.He must not be grieved often,yet He is equally as patient as d Father and d Lord Jesus Christ contrary 2 what some people teach. However,He should not be taken 4 granted.How much of ur time do u devote 2 developing ur relationship with d Holy Spirit?

It is possible to have victory over the devil in a particular area and the victory becomes a defeat down the line. For example, the victory God gave some people over barrenness has now become an idol. You can be sure that when you idolise the gift, you provoke the Giver to become jealous, and afterwards to become your enemy. Gideon's victory eventually made room for idolatry in Judges 8:22-27. Moreover, the devil did not hide his intention towards Samson: he knew Satan wanted to bring him down. I am often worried about people who talk too much! Samson was confident in himself, he believed Delilah was an ordinary girl and as a result, she will not be able to get him. Today, you will be shocked to see the sins and temptations that are bringing mighty men and women down. Some have fallen because of persistent temptation like it happened to Joseph, only that God's grace sustained him (Genesis 39:7-10). When a particular temptation is persistent, it is because Satan wants to wear you out with his jabs, but you too can wear him out with your prayers (1 Thessalonians 5:17). In Genesis 39:10, we read that Joseph was tempted everyday by Portiphar's wife but he did not succumb. Satan does not mind applying so much pressure on you continuously just to get you to sin. Beside intensive and continuous prayer, when you are in a situation of persistent temptation, it is important to take your flight like Joseph. Many people who fell into temptation started by overcoming them; but when the devil kept at it, gradually, they began to dialogue with him until they felt pressed to yield. When a temptation is becoming too persistent, separate yourself from the source of the temptation. You can also confide in your prayer partner to join you in praying about it. You can also see your pastor for counselling. At such times, avoid being alone and keep good company. The Lord will give you total victory.

Just as ur attention can be arrested by certain things while undergoing a physical journey,so also can ur attention be diverted while running the race to Heaven.One of such things that can divert heaven-bound citizens is prosperity.Prosperity can give u a lot of comfort which can effect ur focus,reduce ur consecration and play down ur personal relationship with God.Prosperity can truncate one's journey to heaven if unchecked.One victim of this was Demas. 2 Timothy 4:10 says,"For Demas hath forsaken me,having loved this present world,and is departed unto Thessalonica; Crescens to Galatia, Titus unto Dalmatia". While other co-labours of Paul were travelling to different cities of the world for the work of the Gospel,Demas - a co-labourer of Paul,fell in love with the world to such an extent that he went back to Thessalonica having been taken captive by worldly pleasures and amusements.Is ur prosperity gradually pushing u off the heavenly track? Control it now before it destroys ur soul completely! Many years ago,when all some of us had were two shirts,two trousers and one pair of shoes,we prayed,loved the Lord and served Him with all our hearts and strength.But today,it is a different ball game.For many who have now been blessed materially,it has become a herculean task to give even a quarter of our time and strength to God.Some find it extremely difficult to make sacrifices for God: everything now operates on how convenient it is.I remember when I called church members to join in a 100-day fast,those from low-income areas in Lagos such as Ajegunle, Mushin, etc., immediately received the announcement with joy,while on that same day when I went to make the same announcement in the high brow areas of Lagos - Ikoyi and Victoria Island,they were not happy to receive it,but thank God they joined.Is the comfort of ur bed,store house and bank account now negatively affecting ur fire? Another attribute of a divine midwife is dat he or she must be able to earn a reward from God.God rewarded d midwives of Exodus 1 and He is looking for those who can work hard to earn His commendation. "Look to yourselves,dat we lose not those things which we have wrought,but dat we receive full reward" 2 John 8. His commendation does not come cheap: it must be earned.The way u are working for Him,can u earn His 'Well done?' If u consider His dealings with people in Bible times,u will notice dat God loves fruitful people.He loves progressive increases but prefers multiplications.When d servants who received five and two talents returned to their master,with a double of what dey received,dey got d same level of commendation (Matthew 25:14-23). God loves multiplication! In Genesis 1:27-28,immediately after creating Adam and Eve,He commanded them to be fruitful,multiply and replenish d earth.These are stages in growth.God wants you to start by bearing fruit,and then move to the stage of multiplication of d fruits so dat u can eventually dominate d earth.Many of us stop at bearing fruit which should be our starting point.It is time u moved up to d stage of multiplication.If u were winning a soul to Christ per month,now win 10 souls or more to Christ per month,but do not stop there.Lead them to d believers class to disciple them.Follow them up and ensure dat dey are doing what you have done.In other words,reproduce yourself in them so dat dey too can do d same.As this chain continues,a time will come when your spiritual children will be in different parts of d world,taking the world for Jesus.Thank God for d past years of winning minimal souls.Increase your efforts and become a mentor to your converts,and they to their converts down d line.If we can take this up and be committed to 10 souls monthly for a year and mentor them to d point of each getting their 10 souls,in less than five years,we would have reached out to d world.Arise and start your chain of converts today!

Every apartment or compartment with a lock has its key. It takes a key to open the gate of a house and several keys to enter the house and its rooms. If you have a fridge, car or wardrobe, you will equally have their keys. From the foregoing therefore, it is apparent that several good things with value have their respective access keys. The key to a house is different from that to a car. In the same way spiritually, every major blessing has its key. There is a key to rest, a key to provision and a key to progress. When you do not have a particular key to a blessing, you will most likely be denied access to that blessing. A man was once stranded at the airport even though he had his own private jet; he was stranded because he could not find its key. Some people have never been able to unlock their closed doors for want of the right keys all their lives. This was the case with the man that was born blind in John 9:1-7. From birth, his eyes remained locked until the day Jesus came to open it. What are the doors you want to enter but lack the relevant keys to do so? The Lord will give you such keys today. There are those who have never really tasted open doors since they were born; they have never experienced any breakthrough at any time and nothing has ever come easy for them. If you are in this category, the Lord will make a difference in your situation. That good thing which you have never experienced shall be delivered to you this season. On the other hand, there are some people who doors were opened to in the past but for one reason or another, the doors were shut. The man with the withered hand in Matthew 12:10 -13 once had a normal hand before something happened and it withered. Also, the widow of Nain once had a living son before death snatched him and Jesus raised him back to life (Luke 7:11-15). Are you in that situation? Every good door that opened to you but is now shut shall be reopened this season.

Discouragement is a great tool in the hands of the enemy.Proverbs 13:12 says,"Hope deferred maketh the heart sick: but when the desire cometh, it is a tree of life". The devil usually does not apply discouragement when you are in high spirits or when you are happy,discouragement comes when you are in low spirits,sad and unhappy.If there is something you have been looking up to God for that is pending,you might be a candidate for discouragement.The devil introduces discouragement when you are tired,weak and sometimes helpless(1Kings 19:4). This is why you must learn to rest.If you have worked very hard,find time to rest.But if you are lazy or you have not been working,let your rest be that you begin to work.To overcome discouragement therefore,allow the joy of the Lord to be your strength.Be filled with God's word and hold on to His promises at every point in time.Shut the door of your heart against laziness. Moreover,when you are closest to achieving your goal,the enemy can bring discouragement.We often fall prey to this because of our inability to see beyond now.In Numbers 13:26-33,the children of Israel were already at the border of the Promised Land when the ten spies brought an evil report that they cannot enter in.Whenever the devil tells you that you cannot achieve something,look back at the word and tell him you can do all things by God's strength.Beloved,never believe the lie of the devil or of men.You can do all things through the strength of the Lord that is inside of you.What you believe at the threshold of your breakthrough definitely affects that breakthrough.In the Garden of Gethsemane,the Lord Jesus was hit by discouragement when He was just about to conclude His work by going to the Cross.But somehow,He overcame.In any way discouragement is sent against you,the Lord will give you victory in Jesus name.

After seeing their plight,hearing their cries and feeling their pains,God came down to rescue the Israelites from Egypt.Our God is a mobile God.He comes down to deliver His own.As high as God is and even though He has His throne in Heaven,yet He condescends to meet the needs of His children on earth(Isaiah 66:1).Looking at Psalm 50:10-12 and Revelation 3:20,we see the God who owns the cattle on a thousand hill and who Heaven cannot contain wanting to dine in your house.Whenever you want to eat,after thanking God for the provision,sanctify it and invite Him to join you.You can be sure nobody can poison the food God is eating from.God can come down to any level.Philippians 2:5-8 says even though Jesus Christ is God,yet He became a man and served as a servant. One day,i was shocked when God told me that even though He is the Almighty God,He has been doing the work of a servant for His children.He said when we say:'Father,give me this or that',we are actually sending Him on an errand,and He delivers.If God can condescend to any level just to serve His children,what level is too low for you to get to in serving those under you? "Be of the same mind one toward another.Mind not high things,but condescend to men of low estate.Be not wise in your own conceits"Romans 12:16. God lives by example.Before He tells you to humble yourself and serve others,He has done it time and again.Some leaders consider themselves too high to be reached.If you are 'high' and you stay up there,you will be unable to reach out to those who are low.Most of the people you are expected to reach out to are somewhere down - they know less about God or His ways,probably have never been ordained,have little or no means of livelihood,have little or no education,etc. The ability to condescend to their level is a plus which makes you like God.That is humility.Put aside your differences and reach out to them today following the example of our Lord Jesus Christ.

A divine midwife must be in control of his or her choices and ensure that they are God-centred and not self-centred.They must be ready to take decisions even when it hurts them.They must also be prepared to respond to Satan's queries. "And the king of Egypt called for the midwives,and said unto them,why have ye done this thing,and have saved the men children alive?"Exodus 1:18. When the plot to murder the Hebrew male babies failed,the king summoned the midwives and issued them a query.In other words,he was asking them: 'whose side are u on? Mine or theirs?' Do u know that Satan is not bothered about querying many believers? Why? It's because he cannot see any difference between their past and present lifestyles.If u still dress indecently,exaggerate events,think the same way and go to the same places u used to go before u were born-again,there will be nothing to query about u.The kingdom of darkness reacts to change and not stagnancy.If u have not practiced your Christian faith to a point where the devil or his agent will question u that: 'Who is that your God?' then u are not making an impact yet. The three Hebrew children stood for their faith in God without being disrespectful to the king.They refused to bow to his golden image because they feared God.This caused them to be noticed as it appeared they were on one side,while the rest of the people were on another.God is usually interested when He finds one or more of His children ready to face Satan's query or persecution. Usually,based on His plan and purpose,He would decide on what to do in each of such situations.In the case of the three Hebrew children,He physically came down to let the crowd realise that there is a God in Heaven that is above man and gods who can do all things.He manifested Himself to also show that He can void the worst of man's anger,punishment or fury.If you can stand for Him,He will lift you up in the midst of opposing circumstances and at the end He would have introduced Himself.

It's amazing that some people who need deliverance do not realise their need; rather they look for others to deliver while they remain in their bondages.In any way you need deliverance,it shall be given to u this season.If God has made several promises to u,and at the time they should be fulfilled none of them is coming to pass,u need deliverance.When it appears u have a very bleak future and u have no vision or direction for the next two or more years,u surely need deliverance.If there is sorrow all around u or u are always quarrelling at home with your spouse and cannot even tell the cause,u need deliverance. Moreover,who can deliver? When your ally is weaker or less fortified than your enemy,both you and the one you have invited to help you fight will end up as preys to the enemy.The one you should therefore invite to help you defeat an enemy stronger than you must be stronger than the enemy.In a battle between two strong people,it takes the stronger fellow to defeat his opponent,strip him of his weapons and take over his spoils according to Luke 11:21-22.If an individual wants to conduct deliverance for you,make sure he or she has the backing of the Almighty God.Today,we have several deliverance ministers who are self-sent and therefore have no divine approval.There are some deliverance ministers that will ask you to pay before you can see them.Both you and the fellow will be in trouble if God is not with him like He was with Jesus (Acts 10:38).Also,the fellow to conduct the deliverance must be under authority or else you may return home with more problems than you went with. In Luke 7:6-8,the centurion who went to the Lord for help was under authority and Jesus Himself was under the authority of the Father.When the sons of Sceva attempted to deliver somebody,they were wounded,disgraced and had to take to their heels.Meanwhile the situation of the fellow they were trying to deliver remained the same.Enlist the right ally when fighting a stronger enemy.

The Christian race must be run with lots of patience or else it will be bungled midway.If you are impatient with God's timing,you will not only get into trouble but may not be able to finish the race.A good number of backsliders derailed from their heavenly track because of impatience.In Matthew 11:6 Jesus said: "And blessed is he, whosoever shall not be offended in me". When you know that God has a set time for everything,you will not try to compel Him to do it at your time and in your way.You will simply submit to His will and enter your rest; that is when you can enjoy a smooth ride in your race to Heaven. A man of God once made some mistakes which landed him in prison.While there,his wife left him,his house got burnt and he lost everything.The devil thought he had taken everything from him but there was something he could not take away from him: his rugged determination to make it home and he made it. Have you lost virtually everything? Are you thinking of giving up? Does it appear that everyone else has forsaken you and there is no one to turn to? Beloved, take heart! God has not given up on you. If God has not given up on you,the greatest disservice you can do to yourself will be to give up on the Lover of your soul. He is very close to you. He is right now in that situation. Don't give up! No matter how bad things are right now,no matter how hopeless your situation is; it does not matter how many people have told you to your face that you cannot make it, God will turn around your tide. Adverse situations are not strange to us at all.It is just a phase.It will soon expire. The Lord is arising on your behalf.He will gather your pieces together and give you wholeness.If there are no pieces to gather,He will create wholeness for you. You are precious in His sight. Just put all your worries at His feet,worship Him regularly and thank Him in spite of your situation even if in tears, He will give you victory and you will have a great testimony.

Deliverance is being rescued in a battle from d one who is stronger than us. Job 5:19 says,"He shall deliver thee in six troubles: yea, in seven there shall no evil touch thee". When u are faced with a battle in which u cannot match d strength of ur enemy, then u need deliverance. When Jacob heard that his elder brother Esau was coming to meet him with 400 men in Genesis 32, he made time to tarry on God for deliverance. He knew he was between life and death. He feared that at last, nemesis was catching up with him. He prayed and what could have become a blood bath became a peaceful family meeting. Are u facing great danger or even d retribution for ur past evil deeds? Call for God's intervention of mercy and deliverance today. In addition, d one who sees trouble ahead and knows d enemy is already advancing towards him but lacks d weapons for war, needs deliverance. The children of Israel faced such scenario and God had to come down to deliver them (Exodus 3:7-. Until u get to a land flowing with milk and honey, u need deliverance. Why? Poverty is a demon. If u have to bother your head so much before accessing what to glorify God with, u need deliverance. I once asked a pastor what was happening in d church he started five years ago. He told me God is helping them and that they were about 50. I told him he needs deliverance. He said he thought I had said pastors do not need deliverance. So I replied that I had said that I do not believe pastors can be demon possessed. If u have been working for 20 years and cannot afford to buy a piece of land, u need deliverance. If ur labour is wasted and there is nothing to show for it like d Israelites in Egypt, u need deliverance. If ur father is d owner of Heaven and earth and u beg before u eat, struggle to pay house rent, children's school fees etc. Something is wrong somewhere. God did not create you to die in poverty! Hebrews 12:1says,"Wherefore seeing we also re compassed abt wit so great a cloud of witnesses,let us lay aside every weight,nd d sin which doth so easily beset us,nd let us run wit patience d race dat is set b4 us", Since our calling into dis race is a calling into a long haul,God in His infinite mercy has designed dat everytin we need 4 d journey is made available nd spread out strategic spots along d journey.Dis is y 4 example He does not expect u 2 knw d whole Bible in a day,week or year.As u take time 2 be wit Him,He will guide u nd give u revelations progressively.To dis end,Paul says we know in part(1 Corinthians 13:9).We cannot know everytin in 1day.And Isaiah 28:10 says,"For precept must be upon precept,precept upon precept;line upon line,line upon line; here a little,and there a little:" Sum pple re too much in a hurry in deir relationship wit God.As far as dey re concerned,God is too slow 4 deir liking.Dey want everytin now.In deir haste,dey want 2 change deir marathon into a short dash.Of course u knw dis is not possible since God is d 1 who set up d race.Find out,such pple start wit so much zeal,fire nd heat.Dey want everytin now.As long as God is doing deir bidding by giving dem everytin immediately,dere will be no problem; but d day God says,Take it easy,son: your time is not my time,dey will begin 2 wonder how slow God is.If God wanted a dash,most believers would hav lived 4 maximum of 1yr afta dey were saved.But beloved,it is not a dash! Dis is y u must cultivate d virtue of patience.U must learn 2 hav Wat u want in His time nd not urs.Are u disappointed @ God's timing? Sorry abt dat: it is occasioned by d nature of d race we re called 2 run.

During d course of life,a time comes when u must decide who to serve.It is a time of choice.At such times u have to decide for yourself who would be ur God.Have u faced such scenario? What was ur choice? In Joshua 24:15,the children of Israel stood face to face with dat decision.The midwives of Exodus 1:15-21 equally faced such challenge - to obey God or d king,and dey chose d former.No wonder it is on record dat dey feared God.Your decisions in life indicate how much fear of God u have.Every divine midwife must be able to take d right decision even when it hurts.In Psalm 15:1-5,among d qualities listed dat are required to enter God's holy hill,is d ability to swear to one's hurt without looking back.Can u take a decision to serve God and stand by it without looking back? The midwives refused to obey their king for fear of d highest king. When it comes to d most crucial area of life,may you never make d wrong choice.Many times,we allow d choices of others to influence ours to a great extent: we want to do something only when our spouse or friends agrees to do d same.To be born-again is a very personal and crucial decision.Certain sacrificial decisions are equally personal.Take for instance,when God instructed Abraham to go and sacrifice Isaac,if he had told Sarah,would she have allowed him? He simply kept it from her because he wanted to obey.Today,some believers receive 'hard' instructions from d Lord,and because dey do not want to obey,dey share it with their spouse whom dey know would disagree; and finally dey tell God dat d reason dey disobeyed was because dey could not agree with their spouse.Remember God knows every secret thought of d heart.Why do u keep looking for excuses not to do what should be done? A divine midwife will always look up to God and obey God's instructions in spite of contrary circumstances.What are ur choices in life? Have u chosen to serve God,to follow d way of holiness and adopt a life of prayer as well as of d study of His word?
