Besides pride,another evidence of not being broken is carnality and worldliness. "For ye are yet carnal: for whereas there is among you envying, and strife, and division, are ye not carnal, and walk as men?" 1 Corinthians 3:3. If you love the world and the things of the world,you are not broken.If you are envious of what God has given to others,you are not yet broken.If your local assembly is operating camps along economic or tribal lines,those taking part in such divisive groups are carnal. Are you so strife-prone? Any little thing you are cursing, swearing or ready to exchange blows? It shows you are yet to be broken. James 4:1-5 talks of believers who do anything to achieve their aim.They do not mind mudslinging,backbiting and character assassination as long as it gives them what they want.It is an unbroken Christian that will offer bribe for spiritual elevation or ordination.It is an unbroken fellow that will join in or even spearhead a revolt against the church authority.How broken are you? Moreover,if you find it difficult to mature in faith to the point of leaving milk for meat or bones of God's Word,it is because you are not broken.This was the state of the church in Corinth.Paul was disappointed at them because as at the time they should be taking the harder stuff they were still inclined to milk.Those who are unbroken select what they recieve from God.They choose the Bible passages they like to read and they have some others they will not go near.They choose what to obey and what to disobey from God's commands.If you love to read the blessings of Deuteronomy 28:1-13 but ignore reading Malachi 3,it shows you are still not broken.Can you look at yourself and say you are broken? An unbroken believer is one who finds it difficult to forgive.As you carry out an examination of your conduct,attitude and desires,fish out every sign of carnality and go yield completely to the Lord.

"And others save with fear, pulling them out of the fire; hating even the garment spotted by the flesh"Jude 23. In the scripture above,we are commanded to use every possible avenue to win souls to Christ yet to be careful enough not to compromise with sin.Love the sinner but hate their sins. Why? It is because God is a holy God.He hates sin with a passion.In Zechariah 3:1-7,the high priest was wearing a filthy garment.This is contradictory to his calling.According to God's standards,the high priest should be a firebrand.Fire is an agent of purification.In medieval times,when they went to perform surgery,the knives to be used are put through fire.If you are doing some cleansing where water and soap are not appropriate or adequate,heat from the fire or the fire itself is directly applied.Even Psalm 12:6 confirms that the furnace purifies.God expects his ministers to be as pure as light. If the priest is the light of the world,how come a high priest ended up in rags? Jesus says you are the salt of the earth.The purpose of salt is to fight corruption.In the olden days,when there was no refrigerator,salt was used to preserve meat and fish.In the same vein,God wants us to be absolutely pure so that He can use us to fight against corruption. Today,many of us are harbouring things that belong to others and we are hardly scolded by the Holy Spirit.Many tell lies,including senior pastors and their wives and this make us wonder if the real heat is still there.When was the last time you said something that was not 100% true and the Holy Spirit rebuked you for half truth? Sometime ago,we attended an interview conducted by CNN.They asked what I do when am less busy,and I told them I fish for the fun of it.Then the Holy Spirit said I did not tell the whole truth.He said when I catch the fish I eat it.The Holy Spirit expects you not only to tell the truth but the whole truth.Yet many of us tell half truths,thinking it is wisdom. A divine champion is the one made wise by God. Daniel 2:20-21 says it is God who gives wisdom to the wise.This means that every truly wise fellow is indebted to God who is the source of wisdom.No wonder proverbs 3:5 says: "Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding". If you want to be wise,you must be ready to set aside what you know,what you have been taught and even what you have experienced in other to receive the wisdom from above.A divine champion recognises how frial he or she is; he also knows how limited in knowledge he is.One reason we fail to let God into our plans is because we believe we know what to do.If Proverbs 3:7 is anything to go by,it is that whenever you come before God,you must put aside what you know so that you can receive what He knows.Even if you feel you have the best approach to solving a particular problem,still tell Him about the problem and about the method you know could be used in solving it.Thereafter,acknowledge His unlimited knowledge and wisdom,and humbly ask for the best approach to the issue on ground. In John 6:37,Jesus says He does not cast out those who come to Him.James 1:5 says,"If any of you lack wisdom,let him ask of God,that giveth to all men liberally,and upbraideth not;and it shall be given him". Everyone saved or unsaved has a measure of wisdom he or she was given by God. Today,some people think they are wise when they begin to create,invent or design things: No! It was given to you by God. It was given out of His general wisdom.God still has the special type of wisdom that is accessible only to His children.To recieve such,you must be born-again,fear God and flee from sin; you must study God's word intensively because it contains unlimited wisdom that can help you in all areas of life.Thereafter,ask in faith for wisdom and you will be given.Without wisdom,you can never truly be a divine champion.Have you asked of wisdom from the Lord?

God is a friendly God who takes steps to cultivate our friendship. The problem is that not many of us who claim to be born-again have reciprocated His moves towards us in the area of friendship. In addition to friendship, He is a loving God. John 3:16 tells us that God made the ultimate sacrifice of His only begotten Son out of love. Romans 8:37 says it is His love that makes us more than conquerors and not because we have learnt the rudiments of prayer. Because He is a loving God, He knows your weaknesses and strengths and is willing to come down to your level to both help and keep you company. "Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God: therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew him not" 1 John 3:1. The love Of God has given us a change of name - from children of devil into sons of God. His love also ensures you are not disappointed. One reason He has not fully brought the weight of our sins upon us is because of His love. God loves you. His love has made Him to ignore certain things you did wrong; you did not escape His judgement because you were smart. His love also ensures that you are disciplined so that you can achieve His purpose for your life. How are you responding to His Love today?

Ephesians 6:1-3 commands children not only to obey but also to honour their parents. If you know how to honour your father and mother, that attitude will see you through certain storms of life. Not many believers know the full value of the giving of first fruits. Proverbs 3:8-9 says you should honour God, who is the Father of fathers with your first fruits. When the high priest was dressed in filthy garment and Satan was standing by his right hand to accuse him, who rescued him? It was God. The only individual who decides the winner or loser in any given battle is God. No wonder it was said in 1Samuel 2:9 that we cannot by physical strength. Remember that God is the One who gives dreams and also the One who can help you realise them. If God is with you, it does not matter how many the opposing forces are; you shall prevail. This was why Joseph saw offending God as a great sin against God. One thing that keeps me from sinning is not punishment from man but from God. Do you honour God with your first fruits? Your first salary on a new Job is your first fruits. So also is your first profit on a new business. It is also the difference between your old salary and the new salary when you are promoted or given a salary raise. Similarly, your first salary in a particular year can be your first fruits. First fruits is to be paid 100%. In the case of a salary increase, if you received a raise from 50,000 to 75,000, you will be expected to pay tithe on the 50,000 former salary, but you will also have to pay the 25,000 difference between both old and new salaries as your first fruits. Do this and God will cause your storehouses to be filled with plenty.

Many people go through life without truly enjoying open doors. John 10:10says,"The thief cometh not,but for to steal,and to kill,and to destroy:i am come that they might have life,and that they might have it more abundantly". This scriptures tells us dat if dere is nothing 2 steal,never expect d devil.So if he ever shows up at all,ignore all d pretence:dere is something dat he is targeting.May Satan fail in every area he has made you his target in Jesus name.Satan is called different names by people.You can call him any name you like - a thief,destroyer,liar,etc.but never call him a fool because he is not.The little I have discovered is dat d devil is aiming at one thing - to destroy your destiny.In getting his potential victim,he rarely uses frontal attack or brute force.But,if he does,dere must be a special reason.Why do you think Satan decided to completely take over d man who became notoriously mad in Mark 5:1-20? It is because he could see dat d man could become a great evangelist dat would stop d kingdom of darkness.So before he stopped dem,all d demons flooded into him in order to stop him.Why do you think he possessed d woman of Luke 8:1-3 with powerful demons? It is because he somehow got to know dat she was meant to be a divine treasurer. In d same vein,when he somehow foresaw dat d woman of Samaria recorded in John 4 was going to be a vessel of honour to God,he kept on attacking her marriage.She went through five and was with a sixth man before her deliverance.Dere are ladies whose marriages have been on the line.Dey have found it difficult to settle down with a man.Some have committed suicide while others have been miserable and depressed.The Lord wants you to take courage and come to Him and He will help you to bear your burden and release your destiny.If d devil has been fighting you serious battles in your life,it is because he has seen something great coming. In d name of Jesus,dat great thing dat d devil has seen in your life shall be made manifest.

If you must be victorious in the battle against Satan and his forces,you must let your separation from evil be total and absolute.Some people look at some things and say it is not too bad.If it is not too bad,then it contains some elements of evil no matter how little.When you tell a 'little' lie to get out of a fix or to cover up some patriarchs - Abraham and Isaac did the same.In fact,Jacob was worse.The truth is,any sin you indulge in without fully repenting of it will enlarge as it goes further.This is why any vice you do not want to see in your future generations must be stopped in your life.Abraham lied but because he did not deal with it,the ability to lie was passed on to Isaac.He too lied and did nothing about it and by the time it got to Jacob,the ability to lie had multiplied to the extent that deception and fraud started operating in him right from the womb.He was a twin with Esau and tried to subvert him in their mother's womb.But when he could not,he grabbed his legs by the time they were coming out so that he could say they came out at the same time.Since his grandfather and father refused to deal with lies,he became lie personified! What is the vice you are still harbouring today! No matter how small,deal with it! You cannot be victorious if sin still reserves space in you.Some situations may appear not so tempting,but do not turn them into tempting ones.A brother may be friendly with a lady at the place of work.It may be a purely official relationship and they may face no apparent temptation.But by the time he begins to touch her or she begins to touch him while they exchange banters,they are now changing the mood of the relationship.If such 'plays' does not stop,the innocent touch may gravitate into a more sensitive touch and before long,lust fills the heart and sin is born. Avoid every evil appearance!

After a contest,a winner emerges.Who is a champion? He is the winner of the contest,a victor,an overcomer.A champion is also the one who remains standing after the battle is over.When David fought Goliath,after the battle was over,Goliath laid down dead while David stood on top of him.The word divine on the other hand has to do with God,meaning it is God connected or related.Which God are we referring to? We are talking of the Most High God,the One who is higher than the highest,the Almighty,the God of all flesh with whom nothing is impossible(Psalm 91:1).He is the Lord of host,the God who has never lost a battle,the One who can bury His enemies alive(Psalm 24:7-10).People serve all kinds of gods including Satan,demons,men,animals,sports,food,etc.To have a connection with the God of gods,you can only access Him through Jesus Christ. Who is a divine champion? He is a champion that is raised by God. 1 Samuel 2:8says,"He raiseth up the poor out of the dust,and lifteth up the begger from the dunghill,to set them among princes,and to make them inherit the throne of glory:for the pillars of the earth are the LORD'S,and he hath set the world upon them". There is no helper or uplifter like God.A divine champion is the one who enjoys God's support and who is strengthened by God(Romans 8:31).When God laid hands on Elijah in 1 Kings 18:46,he outran the chariots of Ahab by foot.Can the one on foot overtake horses? Physically this may not happen,but with God at your back,it will happen almost effortlessly.In every race facing you,you will have to decide how to run it - whether by your limited human strength or by God's unlimited strength.To be a champion,you will have to also decide whether you want to be an ordinary champion or a divine champion.The letter is preferable.God is raising His champion these last days,will you be one of them? It is your choice.

Beside sickness, disease or poverty, another force that can hinder your flight is spiritual bondage. This happens when forces of darkness use demonic items and methods to hold a person down. In Mark 5:1-20, the mad man that was arrested by demons could not leave the tomb. Whatever power that is holding you from flying is broken now. Every contrary spirit that is operating in your life, I speak to you: your time is up! Pack your load and go now in Jesus name! Do you know that the sicknesses and diseases holding down the Israelites disappeared after partaking of the uncommon meal? Psalm 105:37 says, "He brought them forth also with silver and gold and there was not one feeble person among their tribes". With just one meal, sickness was gone. A nation was completely healed. With just one meal poverty disappeared. As a result of that meal, the debts that several generations of their fathers were owed by the Egyptians, the current generation of Egyptians were compelled to pay it. They ate one meal and spiritual bondage became a thing of the past. Those who had refused to let them go all these years suddenly became too impatient for them to stay one minute extra. You too can take the communion and it will make you totally free right away - free from sickness and disease, poverty and spiritual bondage, you are expected to rise into the sky and fly. You do not fly on the ground. As long as you stay on the ground, you cannot fly. If you do, you will continue to bang your airplane against buildings, trees etc. Many people want to be uplifted but they are not ready to put in more effort. If you apply only the effort of those on the ground, you will walk or at best run like them. Come up today!

Besides fearing God, one must also be wise. It is possible to work hard and not work smart. When there is an assignment to be done and there is not enough wisdom to do the work, it could be boring, laborious, take a longer time and bring about a lot of wastage and even injury. For instance, in Exodus 18:17-23, Moses who was highly anointed and very hardworking, did not work smart for lack of wisdom. God had to use his father-in-law to give him the wisdom he required, and from that moment, the work became easier and he could find sometime to rest and thereby prolong his life. Hard work is good but working smart is better. Many people who worked hard without working smart have had to die before their time. Jethro was a wise man. He applied certain principles of doing work in other to achieve greater productivity at lesser costs. He was also ready to share these principles. There is nothing wrong with enrolling for leadership courses that will enhance your productivity. Some people will ask: 'what will they teach there? Is it not worldly wisdom?' Thank God for the Bible, yet, there are certain principles that have been tried in secular businesses that will equally be beneficial in the kingdom. To be on top, there is need to continue to improve your skills and knowledge. Try things a bit different from how you normally do them. You must be ready to accept change. In addition to secular seminars and training programmes, you can ask God for wisdom in a specific area. You can read up books on finance, savings and investments to boost your knowledge in that area. You can go on the Internet to download information. We live in the information age and it will be most tragic to be without information during this age.

The God that we serve exists from eternity to eternity.He created the universe and the creature in them and opportioned time for them.However this God does not exist in space and time.Whatever He had done before,He can do again as many times as He needs to. Hebrews 13:8 says,"Jesus Christ the same yesterday,and today,and for ever". He heals instantly and He heals progressively,some healing are repairs and for those body parts that are beyond repairs,He replaces.According to your needs for healing,the Lord will visit you today! In John 9:1-7, the Lord gave the man who was born blind brand new eyes.That is a creative miracle! In Genesis 18:9-14,when Sarah's womb was dead,He gave her a brand new womb.Take the example of the raising of the dead like that of Lazarus recorded in John 11:39-44.The truth is,for a dead man,everything in his body is dead and meant to decompose.So when Jesus raised Lazarus from the dead,it was more than just bringing him back to life.He had to perform a lot of creative miracles in him - in his flesh that had decayed,in his blood that had turned black,in his brain that had melted.He recreated every part of him. A young child developed a growth in the brain and she was taken to India for a brain surgery.But after the surgery,the child could not walk again.Her mother brought her to the camp during one of our programmes,and the Lord said somebody was getting a brand new brain.The Lord gave the girl a new brain.A lady who had many fibroids had her womb removed in the process of treatment.Later,she came for me to pray on the anointing oil she brought so that the Lord will give her another womb.She continued to rub her stomach with this,and God gave her a new womb and she had her baby.In the name of Jesus,receive your creative miracle now.That part of your body that is dead,i command it to be replaced.Every missing cell organ that is needed for you to live well is restored now in Jesus name. When in danger or in emergency,who do you call? "Some trust in chariots,and in horses:but we will remember the name of the LORD our God" Psalm 20:7. The psalmist here says some may call on chariots and some may call on horses but he will call on the Lord.If you must be victorious in life's battles,you must call on the name of Jesus purposely,deliberately,in faith and with lots of expectations.Some people use the name of Jesus without honouring Him; no wonder the name hardly works for them.If they miss a step,they shout Jesus! If the tea burns their tongue,they shout Jesus! If someone touches them from behind,they shout Jesus! The name has become an exclamation mark.Before they speak for three minutes,they will call the name several times devoid of honour.If you want that name to work for you,you must learn to call it with purpose,respect,honour and humility. One of the things God frowns at is using His name in vain.Exodus 20:7 says,"Thou shalt not take the name of the LORD thy God in vain;for the LORD will not hold him guiltless that taketh his name in vain". Ordinarily,you do not call the name of your father or mother anyhow.When you call their name,you do it with some sense of respect and honour.If you do so to mortals,how much more should you treat God's name with reverence? Psalm 111:9 says,"He sent redemption unto his people:he hath commanded his covenant for ever: holy and reverend his name". God's name must be highly revered above all others because Philippians 2:9-11 says it has been exalted above every other name.Do you know that the way you call the name of Jesus indicates whether you have the fear of God or not? A wise person will call the name of Jesus with lots of fear and worship.If you call Him like you are calling a servant,if He answers at all,it will be out of mercy.Many of us cannot call God's servants the way we call God. What an irony! Repent,and adjust today.Begin to attach honour,fear and reverence to His name.

The Holy Spirit gives light. If you ignite a fire,no matter how little it is,around the fire there will be light.In Genesis 1:1-3,in d midst of the darkness,emptiness and chaos,d Holy Spirit stepped in and light had to be created immediately.In other words,it was His coming dat brought about light at d very beginning.The beauty of dis is dat d light of d Spirit exposes d hidden contents of darkness.This is confirmed by our Lord Jesus Christ when He said in John 3:20: "For every one that doeth evil hateth d light,neither cometh to d light,lest his deeds should be reproved". The light has a way of exposing d enemy.We see dis in Acts 28:3-6,when Paul gathered some firewood and lit it up,a serpent dat was hiding in d wood suddenly reared up its ugly head,but Paul threw it back into the fire. If d fire of God is really burning in your ministry,it will expose every evil person in church,and deal with them.When under the strong influence of d Holy Spirit,your personal problems will be exposed to you.Your greatest enemy is not d witch or wizard around but yourself.Not many of us think we are part of our problems.If you ask a student to mark his examination sheet,he will most probably award himself d highest grades.If you know that what is hindering your progress is in you,it is den important to deal with it.The fire in Acts 28:5 not only exposed d serpent,it also killed it.Every serpent dat is hiding in any corner of your life shall be exposed and destroyed in Jesus name.Moreover,if you walk in the light of d Spirit,people will hate you.Don't be surprised dat compromising brethren and church leaders would not only hate and persecute you,dey may also want to get rid of you.If your presence does not allow them to steal,dey will hate your guts.The more you allow d light of d Spirit to shine in and around you,d more difficult it is for your enemies to cover up their evil intents. This season,d Lord will expose all the hidden agenda of your enemies by the light of d Spirit.

From Mark 11:22-24, we understand that it is possible to move moutains. What is a mountain? It can mean a hindrance to progress. It can also be an obstacle preventing you from reaching your goal. A mountain can also be anything standing between you and your destiny. A hill is a problem while a mountain is a problem of higher magnitude. Contrary to what many think and desire, mountains can really be useful. A mountain can be God's own way of advertising you. Israel did not know David until Goliath came to the scene. God used the incessant harassment of Goliath to bring David to limelight. The mountain, through which God will advertise you, may you not run away from it. May it fulfil it's divine purpose in your life! Moreover, a mountain could be God's way of waking you from sleep. In Acts 12:1, when Herod killed James, the church kept snoring, but when he grabbed Peter, they suddenly realised that if they did not do something about it, he would not stop at Peter but also kill the rest of them. So they began to pray. Are you sleeping spiritually? A mountain can be God's avenue for drawing you closer to Him. God can use it to develop your spiritual muscles. For instance, it was while Joseph was in prison that he became an interpreter of dreams which led him to become a primeminister. Until then, he was a mere dreamer. Also, a mountain can help you discover your potential. Philip never knew he had the potential to be a great evangelist until the intense persecution against the church that scattered all of them. Until then, he thought it was enough for him to aspire to be an outstanding deacon, but when his friend and fellow deacon - Stephen was killed, and Saul was throwing Christians into prison, he ran and that was how he got to Samaria and brought joy to the city after leading them to Christ. You may never really know what is in you until you face a big problem. Henceforth, problems will have their positive effects on you.

If you truly want to have a big testimony, then you are indirectly inviting a mountain. The best a little problem can deliver to you is a small testimony. A man who is healed of headache will have a small testimony compared to a man who is healed of cancer. But even that is small compared to the man who died and resurrected after God's intervention. This season, every big problem facing you will produce big testimonies. On the other hand, the size of your mountain is proportional to the size of your destiny. The bigger the mountain you are confronted with, the greater your destiny is. The longer the period the mountain remains, the more enduring your glory will be. If God is leading you to a great promised land, expect gaints on your way. In Numbers 13:26-33, the spies that Moses sent to spy out the land of Canaan returned with their report. After confirming that the land flows with milk and honey, verse 28 says, "Nevertheless the people be strong that dwell in the land, and the cities are walled, and very great: and moreover we saw the children of Anak there". This clearly shows that giant problems would most likely occupy a land flowing with milk and honey. When your destiny is big, your mountains will be big too. When Satan sensed that David was going to be king, he brought a giant to face him. Why? Satan wanted to rob David of his destiny by bringing a mountain in the form of a giant before him. Every giant the devil has brought before you shall fall in Jesus name. In the same vein, when the Lord Jesus was to go through major temptations at very crucial stages of His life - starting of His ministry and preparation for the Cross, Satan did not send his demons but went to tempt Him himself. Even today, when it comes to a very important issue that will affect both kingdoms seriously, Satan still personally tempts God's bona fide servants. When your mountain is big, it is likely you are a spiritual heavy weight champion in God's Kingdom. Be encouraged if you are facing mountains, you are in a privileged position to prove the power of your God.

God has an appointed time to visit an individual. May your appointed time bring you utmost joy. In 1Kings 18:41-45, at the seventh time of intensive prayer, the servant of the man of God saw a small sign in the sky, yet when the rain would fall, it was massive. This simply tells us that whenever God is to do something great, He starts small. Due to lack of understanding of this, many people have missed God's plan for their lives. They say God told them He was going to use them mightily but they wonder why they are being given very negligible assignments now. They turned down the small assignment and miss the big ones that should have come out of the small. For those who are over selective concerning matters that God has spoken about, please heed this warning. There are Small jobs whose assignment in your life is not to give you your desired haven of rest and comfort, but to link you up with that choice job or assignment! Be very careful how you handle these little assignments. Do you know that you will be assessed on how you handled the smaller jobs or tasks to determine whether you qualify for the big ones. Zechariah 4:10 says you should not despise the days you started small. Those in senior ecclesiastical positions today did not get there overnight. They started small and today they have been promoted to where they currently are. The mustard seed is the smallest among seeds yet it's tree is a gaint. Some people want to start a business but continue to wait until they have a large capital when others have started similar business with a very little amount. Let God begin something great through you. Be ready to start small. Do not be afraid to take that step. Some people who are fighting to get a job where designed not to be employees, but employers of labour. Jobs 8:7 assures you that as long as you are with the Lord, your latter end shall be very great.

It is pretty difficult to catch an eagle because of the altitude at which it flies.If you fly high spiritually,it will be very difficult for you to be caught by Satan's traps. However,occasionally we successfully ensnare and capture eagles we sight flying overhead in the jungle.To capture a sighted eagle,we clear a space in the jungle from which it can be monitored.This space also gives it clear view of the bait we set for it.As bait,we set a robust chicken with a rope tied around its neck so that it can only move within a circle in the space we have created.Eagles love chicken so when it sees it,with speed it will zoom downwards to pick it up; but the rope will not let it go with the chicken.Before it realises what is happening,we would have covered it with a net. This is similar to how the devil gets divine eagles.He uses what they love most as bait. This is why you must be wary of anything that appears too good and yet too easy to get.It could be a bait to get you into Satan's snare. In the name of Jesus,the food that will lead to your destruction shall fail to appeal to you. May the Lord open your eyes to see Satan's bait that is presented to you as food. The devil knew that Samson loved strange woman so he used Delilah as bait. Samson was a high flier but sin reduced this divine eagle into a powerless,blind and mocked captive. Also,Gehazi had the opportunity of becoming the greatest eagle of the Old Testament but his love for money stood between him and his God. It is sin that stops high fliers. If you are flying high for God,run far from sin. If you are winning several souls for the Lord,run away from sin.Be careful with converts of the opposite sex because Satan does not mind getting you into sin with your converts. A minister of God was spending time to build his female converts and before long,Satan caught him.His convert became his regular sex partner whenever he was starved of sex by his wife. Many prayer effort amounts to wanting to give what you don't have.If you are full of the Spirit,with little or no effort,you will birth signs and wonders.Many people are empty of the Spirit yet they want to birth signs and wonders.They will simply have disappointments. Do you know you can be filled with all the fullness of God?(Ephesians 3:19). Why stay,live and minister empty of God when you can have all His fullness? What is important with God is not how many years you have been born-again but how close to Him you are.It is not what title you bear on earth but the title you are known by in Heaven.It is also not what position or ecclesiastical office you occupy but how full you are of His Spirit.If a week old believer is full of the Spirit,God will use him to do the incredible.Most people have misplaced priorities.They are busy struggling for money: in their dreams and thoughts,it is all about how to get more money,yet they wonder why they are not seeing miracles through their lives and ministries.Others are busy struggling over positions and titles as if these are what will give you the anointing. No! There are many pastors who got to the peak of their anointing on the day of their ordination.After their ordination,they went to sleep.No wonder workers who are not even ordained but are seeking for the fullness of the Spirit are more anointed than them. Stop fighting for what is not! Give your attention to seek more of Him.The more you have His Spirit,the more like Him you will be in signs,wonders and character.

Every genuinely converted believer in Christ is raised up and set up to sit in Christ Jesus in heavenly places. For such people,Colossians 3:1-4 should be their watch word. Since they are seated in heavenly places in Christ,they should have their eyes set on things that are above,they should also love and desire things that are heavenly. One reason a lot of Christians are not experiencing motion by flying and a reason why some others crash while flying is that they are still looking the the things of the earth,instead of heavenly things. Looking at flying from a spiritual perspective,there are at least two ways to fly: with your own energy and with God's energy. When birds fly,they usually spend their energy;but a man who travels by an aeroplane flies without any effort. He does not sweat,he eats nd drinks,watches video and even has the luxury of using the lavatory while flying. He may strike a business deal with someone or he may decide to sleep,all while still flying. It is not enough to decide to fly;you must equally determine how you want to fly. In Exodus 19:3-4,when God was bringing the children of Israel out of bondage,He carried them on eagles' wings.None of their individual or collective efforts could free them all these years,but when God intervened,He delivered them from bondage nd placed dem where d enemy could no longer touch dem.Moreover,wen a bird is flying,if it has any item to take to its destination,it would have to carry it with its beak. This is a form of load which could also act as drag on the bird while in flight.It is not easy to fly and at the same time carry a form of load.If such load is heavy,it will retard the speed of flight of the bird. However,if you are flying in an aeroplane and you have any luggage,the aeroplane will carry both you and your luggage.Isaiah 53:4-5 says that God is not only able to carry you,but also can carry your burdens. What are your cares today? What are the things causing worry in your heart? Lay them at His feet by prayer and leave them there.After telling d Lord,like Hannah,stop worrying about then from that moment.

Midwives are not only an important set of people but also a powerful group. In Exodus 1:15-16, we see that they have the power to kill or keep alive, and pharaoh instructed them to use that power against newborn male Hebrew children. Midwives can kill or spare a new born baby by their action or inaction. At the point of a woman's delivery, when she is about to push out the new baby, she is between earth and eternity. Many women never survive their deliveries as they go from childbirth into eternity. Usually, at that moment of delivery, a woman may not have known the sex of her baby, or whether the baby is dead or alive. It is what the midwives finally presents to her that she accepts as the fruit of her labour. Some midwives have used this power to play pranks, sell or exchange babies etc. If you have done so before, repent with all your heart asking for God's forgiveness and go and restitute to those you have defrauded. Do you know that these midwives can perpetrate a lot of atrocities? While reading this passage in Exodus 1, it suddenly dawned on me that it is possible that a good number of children said to be stillborn were actually murdered by the midwives. I have seen babies that were born with a dislocated hand because the midwife pulled the baby a little too hard. In the same vein, you are a divine midwife as a saved worker or minister of God. You can kill a new convert ever before he or she finds his or her feet, through your words and actions. This power at your disposal must be used to grow and establish converts in the faith of Jesus Christ. By your actions, you can help God to deliver babies into God's Kingdom and by your actions, you can cause the newly saved to backslide. But for the grace of God, I would have gone back to the world because of the negative actions of some so called believers. Where do you stand today? Are you birthing or killing babies? While some servants of God are becoming cold, a few others are remaining hot, steaming hot. May you be hot for God! Sometime ago, there was this particular physician who became a missionary. Where he went to preach the Gospel soon experienced a plague which killed people like flies. Through the plague, germs were transferred to others and they too soon became victims. The doctor was busy treating the victims of the plague but he did not die. This amazed some scientist who decided to carry out a test. They took the saliva of one of the plague victims full of deadly germs and placed it on the hand of this physician, and watched the reaction under a microscope as instructed by the doctor. Then they saw that a few second after the germ landed on his skin, they died. That is an example of a firebrand! Many of us are not what we ought to be because we have failed to carry the divine fire we were designed to carry. Some time in 1977, we went to ilorin(Nigeria) for a Redeemers Congress. There was scarcity of pipe-borne water at that time. The brethren went to a river in the town and fetched me a bucket of water which was green in colour as that was the best they could find. Then they brought a disinfectant to apply to the water. As I opened it, I heard God saying,"My son, which is more powerful - my blood or the disinfectant?" I replied, "Your blood". So he asked me to put back the disinfectant and cover the water with His blood because He would send me to locations with water challenges and there would be no disinfectant to apply. Beloved, germs are supposed to die when they come in contact with you but what is the situation today? Is your body harbouring sickness? Are germs developing inside your body that was created to destroy them? If there is one thing you need now, it is the fire of the Most High God. To overcome the devil, you must first overcome yourself - your flesh and its desires. Most times, what we like is what the devil uses to ensnare us. "But every man is tempted, when he is drawn away of his own lust, and enticed" James1:14. Unknowingly or out of carelessness, a lot of of believers over indulge their flesh. If you develop a fondness for some new sport, activity or area of entertainment, you can be sure the devil will try you out in that area. The onus is on you therefore to strike a balance to prevent such from becoming your lord. You would observe that when you decide to engage in activities that will bring your flesh under subjection like fasting, the devil will battle to thwart such efforts by arousing some feelings like love of some foods which ordinarily you would not have been compelled by. It is at such times that you will feel so much hunger pangs even before 12noon, when ordinarily on some days, you don't eat before then and you don't feel any such pangs. Hold the fort and resist such onslaught by the kingdom of darkness. Watch your hobbies! If you like football, Satan can use it to get you to speak unadvisedly in the course of arguments and to miss church services. If a crucial football match were to take place on a sunday morning, workers service that morning may suffer because some people will want to watch the match before going to church. If Satan succeeds in getting you to do so, he has already overcome you because by so doing, you would have proved to God that He is secondary in your life i.e. He comes after the god of football. If you love movies, Satan could use this to target your life of holiness by tempting you with sex scenes sandwiched in the movie, as well as use it to kill your prayer life. When you should be praying or worshiping at night, you might be watching movies. To help yourself, say No to the things that your flesh loves, deliberately deny yourself of them and you will overcome.

God is a good and wonderful God but He is not a democrat. Democracy has its benefits but in God's Kingdom, it has several limitations, hence God adopts a theocratic style of government. If you would be God's favourite, you must learn to obey Him unquestionably. In 1 Kings 17:1-16, after Elijah announced the seizure of rain, God told him to go to Brook Cherith and that birds will feed him there. He went without asking any questions. If God tells you to go and preach at a particular location you hate to go, would you pretend as if it was the devil that spoke to you? Or would you ask: 'Father, why me, why not somebody else?' When the water at Brook Chrith dried up, and God said, 'Go and meet the widow', he did not question but simply obeyed. Some people have become so learned, enlightened and refined to the point that they query God. They summon God to explain why He wants them to do what He asked them to, or else, they will not obey. If you taste what it means to be a divine favourite for one month, you will do almost anything just to remain His favourite. Moreover, anyone who wants to be God's favourite must be ready to spend quality time with Him. A couple who after marriage hardly spend time together, will after several years not be able to show the fruit of their union. The fruit of the Spirit is developed as you spend time in God's presence, right in the midst of contrary circumstances. So also are the gifts of the Holy Spirit. If you want to heal the sick or raise the dead, first go and stay in His presence. There is hardly anyone who walked in the miraculous by the power of the Holy Spirit without being incubated by the Holy Spirit. Do you really want to be His favourite? Even if you are not presently His favourite, you can work your way into being one by the things you do from today. As you pay the price, the Lord will make you His favourite.

The importance of the Holy Communion can never be over emphasised. In Exodus 12:30-35, when the Israelites took a similitude of that uncommon meal, it brought about multiple effects. They had lived under a curse and suddenly after that meal, the curse was broken and they became a blessing. How? After asking them to go, Pharaoh asked them to bless him also. Are you presently operating under a curse? As you key into the next Holy Communion service, the curse will be broken. Even the people who placed you under that evil spell will come and beg you, and ask you to bless them. Oh how unlimited is the power that is released from the table of the Lord! Similarly, until that night, they were at the other end of labour. They worked like elephants but took the harvest of ants. Yet, even their pay hardly came. Some people have no value for their services. People are happy to patronise them yet when it comes to paying for such services, they will begin to give all the excuses in the world. Some people will work with all their hearts and sacrifice a lot for an organisation, yet, when it comes to receiving their salaries or wages, the director will reel out a list of reasons why such employees should be owed. You do not have to continue like that you can change that situation by taking the Holy Communion meal. There are even fraudulent organisations and bosses who refuse to pay their workers with the excuse that there is no money, yet they are releasing new cars, dedicating new houses and breaking new grounds. The Holy Communion can put an end to such wickedness. However, you have to make up your mind to change that situation or else it will continue. The children of Israel before the meal lived in fear and were treated like animals, or at best as inferior citizens. This season, break the staff of the wicked over your life by prayerfully partaking in the next Holy Communion.

Hence,Colossians 3:1 says,"If ye then be risen wit Christ,seek dose tins which re above,where Christ sitteth on d right hand of God". Dis scripture tells us of our spiritual placement,which is y we should be flying in d airways nd not moving on land. First Ephesians 1:20-23 says afta Jesus was raised 4rm d dead,He was set up @ God's right hand in d heavenly places,far above all d hierarchies of d kingdom of darkness,nd as a result,all tins re put under His feet. Ephesians 2:6 further tells us,"And hath raised us up together nd made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus". In oda words,just as Jesus was raised nd set up in d heavenly places,so also hav we been raised up nd set up 2 sit wit Him where He is. Praise God! No wonder He told us in Luke 10:19,"Behold,I give unto u power 2 tread on serpents nd scorpions,nd ova all d power of d enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt u". Dis means dat just as He is above all evil powers,so re we; as He has dem under His feet so do we,hence we should tread on dem.U cannot tread on wat is above u.Beloved,nt many of us re flying bcus we hav not received d revelations in dese passages.If u catch dis revelation of ur position in Christ,it will affect ur motion in all areas of life.

In 1 kings 18:41-45,after the man of God heard the sound of abundance of rain,he spoke it out. Amos 3:8 says,"The lion hath roared, who will not fear? The Lord GOD hath spoken, who can but prophesy?" When God has spoken to you,then you should prophesy.You can declare what He has said except He tells you to keep it to yourself. Beyond declaring it,the man of God embarked upon intense prayer.But why pray when he had already heard from God and he knows what he had heard? Psalm, 115:3 says God does as He pleases. 1 Samuel 2:30 says the same God who earlier made a promise to Eli later revoked His promise.He can say He is no longer saying so,and there is nothing anyone can do about it. Elijah also knew of God's promise in 2Chronicles 7:14,that if he approached God in reverence, humility and submission to His will, God will hear and answer. This is one lesson we ought to learn today.Many times,we take for granted that because God has said something,He will surely do it.We refuse to follow-up on His promise.Some of us even do things that offend God, capable of changing His mind,yet we expect Him to remain committed to His promise.The truth is that in the process of time,many people have disqualified themselves from an earlier divine promise. Do you take time to pray God's promises into manifestation? If God says He will give you victory over a particular enemy,hold Him by that promise until He fulfils it.But if it is something negative such as a judgment, go into prayer and fasting and humble yourself yielding completely to Him,so that He can reverse it. While holding on to God in prayer,ensure you do everything to please Him. Praise Him. Worship Him with your whole heart. Obey all His instructions and make Him happy. Keep totally away from sin and also remind Him of His Word. When you do all these, he will surely answer you.

In Exodus 1:15-21,we read about the role of some midwives who assisted pregnant Hebrew women to deliver babies.Midwives are a very important class of people because they are linked with delivery of babies.As ministers and servants of God,we too are midwives of another order - a higher divine order,saddled not with the responsibility of birthing physical babies but divine babies.God is pregnant and needs spiritual midwives to assist in the birth of divine babies.According to 1 John 3:9-10,a Christian is born of God.You are a child of God today because you were born of God via the assistance of some midwifes - a preacher. "Say not ye, There are yet four months, and then cometh harvest? Behold, I say unto you, lift up your eyes, and look on the fields; for they are white already to harvest" John 4:35. The above passage tells us about the state of God's pregnancy.It is not just at its first trimester but the third.God has been pregnant for so long and it is now delivery time.The field is ripe for harvest but God is only waiting for harvesters - you and me, people He has already saved to lead these souls into His Kingdom.God is calling out to you "Help me to pull out the babies". What is your response to His call? Why are we in ministry? Is it just to bear the title of deacon, assistant pastor, pastor, prophet and evangelist, etc? When it comes to this all important subject,Heaven recognises untitled believers who assist God in delivery the babies more than those who are titled but hardly assist in the delivery of babies.Since you were born-again,how many babies have you assisted God to deliver? This year,how many of such babies do you have to your credit? God does not joke with divine midwives.If He could bless the Hebrew midwives for ensuring the birth of physical babies,how much more will He bless the spiritual midwives who birth divine babies? The presence of the anointing generates something new. In Judges 14:5-6, when a lion attacked Samson, the anointing of God came heavily upon him and the lion was easily destroyed. Also in Judges 15:14-16 when Samson was bound and brought to his enemies, the anointing descended upon him and the yokes were destroyed. With the jaw bone of an ass he levelled 1000 enemies, while the rest fled for their lives. As the anointing of God comes upon you this season, every yoke of the enemy upon your life shall be destroyed. Every rope or chain tying you and your destiny down shall be destroyed in Jesus name. What about an ordinary farmer like Saul? When the anointing oil touched his head, he began to prophecy (1 Samuel 10:1-11). There is a link between the anointing and singing, particularly singing a new song. In John 9:1-25, the man who was born blind had his eyes anointed by Jesus and he regained his sight and began to sing: 'I was blind but now I see'. Are you physically blind or are you spiritually blind? As the anointing of God touches you this season, you shall receive your sight. Beside the erstwhile blind man, David also sang a new song. In Psalm 89:1, he kept saying, 'I will sing of the mercies of the Lord for ever'. When you look at his life, I believe he had several reasons to sing. He was a forgotten shepherd boy but the anointing turned him into the king of the whole nation. Whenever the anointing flows, new things are bound to happen that will make people sing. Usually, when people experience a thing of joy - particularly when it is of a great measure, they will subconsciously begin to sing and dance. This season is your joyful season. This season is your dancing season. You will sing and dance and people will dance and celebrate with you. Your sorrow will give way to dancing. Your weeping has come to an end and joy is taking over your situation.

To bring down a believer,the devil focuses on his or her weak points.Everyone has at least one point of weakness.Yet to overcome the overtures of the devil,you must focus on what he focuses on.That is,if he is focusing on your weakness so that he can bring you down by it,you too should focus on how to use the word of God and prayer to work on it,until it becomes your strong point. Do you know that if your weakness is that you find it difficult to resist anything in skirt,God can help you to the extent that even when a lady is naked before you,you will not be under any pressure to sin with her? Such character does not evolve by itself.It takes a careful study of the word of God,prayer and discipline. Are you ready to turn your weakness into your strong point? Satan is good at showing people things to tempt them.That he showed you something does not mean that you have already sinned.In Matthew 4,he took Jesus to a height and showed Him the glory of this world.Thereafter,he offered to give these to Him if only He could bow to him. Oh! How cheap you may say! Just one innocuous bow and you get all these? What a lie! A bow to Satan is more than an ordinary bow.That single bow will subordinate you to him and his evil government.That bow would make you his slave for a life time.That bow would separate you from the Lover of your soul and drown you in hell eternally. One way out is to refuse to see what the devil wants to show you. In your office as an accounts or finance officer,Satan can show you the loop hole in the organization's account and tell you to exploit it and make 'clean' money for yourself.Don't agree with him. Do you know that,Satan's agent of temptation,who is saddled with the task of making you sin,can be converted? Today,some ladies who came to lure some brothers to fornication have ended up giving their lives to Christ.This is why when the spiritual battle is getting too hot,Satan withdraws his agents out of fear of losing them. You can overcome the devil!

To bcom a divine favourite,u must be ready 2 be different.Wen pple re busy discussing tins of no heavenly value,u wil keep dem @ a distance. 2Timothy 2:23 says an individual must avoid foolish nd unlearned questions,while Ephesians 5:4says,"Neither filthiness,nor foolish talking,not jesting,which are not convenient:but rather giving of thanks". Instead of saying anytin dat does nt glorify God or make jest of pple,God expects u 2 give Him thanks.In oda words,in God's estimation,all d man hours wasted on filthy or immoral communication, gossips, exaggerations nd jesting re seen as time 4 thanksgiving dat was not given 2 God.Dis means if u hav spent 1hour speaking wat does nt edify urself nd odas or glorify God,u hav just robbed God of an hour of thanksgiving.By d time God uses dis scripture 2 take stock of our lives;pple wil owe Him so much in thanksgiving.Stop complaining of d nation or of bad leaders;complaining does nt stop dem 4rm deir evil.Rather use such time 2 thank God nd pray 4 dem,dis wil deliver u sumtin worthwhile. Divine favourites do nt waste deir time in frivolities bt use free moments 2 appreciate deir God.Dey spend time discussing heavenly tins.Dey re nt only special bt also peculiar.Pple must be able 2 look @ u nd say dat u re different.D definition of fanatical Christianity is actually dat d fellow loves Jesus more dan u do.If odas decide 2 soil deir hands in dat business deal,u wil remember according to Psalm 24:3-5,dat ur hands nd hrt must be clean,nd so u would rather choose nt 2 join dem.U re special 2 God.U cannot afford 2 behave like odas.Eagles do nt eat dead animals.It is vultures dat do dat nd may even prefer rotten ones.Are u an eagle or vulture? Ur Father is holy,hw come u do nt mind sinning? Be like d eagle u hav been called 2 be nd God wil back u up.Seperate 4rm all shady deals. In any case,re u a debtor 2 God in thanksgiving?

Repercussion for sins done on earth will not only come in eternity but also in this present world. During one of the Divine Encounter services we had sometime ago, I asked the Lord what was happening concerning His promise to raise several millionaires and He replied:"Do you want me to prosper those who are stealing?" This speaks of the limitation of man. There was this surgeon in charge of bones in one of the Nigerian hospitals. Whenever someone who had an accident was brought to him, he would take a look and charge exorbitantly. If they complain about his fee, he would pick up an axe and threaten to amputate the leg. Through this means, he got people in pain and sorrow to pay him and he became very wealthy. Then one day, he took ill and went everywhere but the problem could not be diagnosed. After he spent all he had, it was then he got to know that he was suffering from cancer of the liver, and yet he could not survive it. What are you pursuing? Elisha was pursuing the double portion of the anointing on his master. Esau was pursuing food. Judas was pursuing money! When I was still very young in the faith, my prayer night and day was that I did not want to be an ordinary Christian. Are you a minister of God? What are you pursuing? What is taking most of your time? What is giving you the greatest level of happiness? If it is mundane things, then like Gehazi, you have missed it. Focusing on the wrong things accounts for a greater percentage of wastage in the Kingdom of God. According to Hebrew 1:7, God's servant should be fire brand. You were called to be a flame of fire. You are supposed to be hot because you operate from God's power house. Take a look at Elijah who was indeed a fire brand and could call fire down on anyone who messed up with him.
