History was made in University of Maiduguri earlier this week when Zahirat Galleon, a student in the Faculty of Education achieved the feat of becoming the first female vice president of the student union of the prestigious university for the first time in 43 years since the establishment of the tertiary institution in 1975.

Aside breaking the norm of male leadership, Zahirat is said to be courageous and will surely use her position to discourage female marginalization. The new SUG EXCOs are to begin their various responsibilities in the forthcoming 2018/2019 session which is rumored to commence next month.

Please I apply for MBBS in Bayero University Kano (BUK) with Jamb score of 263 and post Jamb with 272 and my average was 267.5. I heard some good grade in my O'Level result with,
1. English: B3
2. Mathematics: B3
3. Physics: A1
4. Biology: A1
5. Chemistry: C4.
I was expecting at least medical related courses, unfortunately they shift me from MBBS to Botany. Please what can I do with Botany because I don't want to loose another year again?

What a fantastic place to be!!!

1.At least they are providing us with a god that we can see(unlike the christian god who has been playing "hide and seek" for 3 millenia)!!!

2.No paying of tithes to this god.......................saves me 10% of my salary!!!

3.This god can provide food for me when I am hungry(Agege bread with fried crocodile eggs)!!!

4.If I kept this god in my room as a pet..............................................even the devil himself will be unwilling to make unexpected mid-night visits!!!
