Decent half. I'm not expecting any wonderful football from city this early in the season. they're a new team and i know these things take time. As long as I see the players working hard and we can bag points i'm content. So far we have done that all season. We need a second goal though. .  Arsenal is not out of it and they can come and just pound us for the next 45 minutes.  They had a lil bit of swag early on but like i said, that 1st goal calmed them the fukc down  grin now their trademark pussyness is on display.

Adebayor should bang one in early in the second. . .throw Robinho on, and fukc em till their ass bleed!!!  grin grin

~Sauron~:
This Arsenal side are the worst Arsenal team i have seen in ages.
No drive, no passion. . . . . .even the possession football we know them for is no longer there.
City have more possession. . . . .

WENGER should be sacked!!!!
In fact, for selling Adebayor and Toure to one of Arsenals closest rivals, he should have his manager's license revoked. thats just madness grin

haha.  Great to see gooners settin themselves up for another disappointment. Happens often enough but still hilarious every time. I'm sure even gooners can easily identify the pattern. hope--->excitement---> hype---> failure---> disappointment---> shock---> denial---> trophyless-season---> transfer season of idiocy from wenger--->back to hope---> excitement . . . .

U gotta love it  grin grin grin

ok, shief.  grin (I nominated u for mod, i hope u get the job wink , if u want it)

@ deepsight. . .

you said something like God must have existed before the big bang, which was the start of space and time.

"before" and "after" are  measurements of time, aren't they? so if time does not exist, can there be a "before"?. Is there anything logical there?
Christianity EtcRe: Atheists: Empirical Reasoning For The Existence Of God by Krayola2(m): 2:23am On Sep 12, 2009
haha. i feel u, mehn. . trust me. I just need to hear the stuff. not a lot about religion makes sense. U just gotta let people tell u what they believe without imposing your own biases on it. Nobody that believes in God is goin to give u a solid argument. It isn't possible to prove God exists (also NOONE can prove God does not exist ). .  whether the religious God, or any other creator. . . tonnes of books have been written on this shit and nothing has been resolved.

Pretty much every religious person thinks his/her worldview is the right one, and that anybody that doesn't see it is just lost, silly, etc. Thats just how it is. . . deists are no different. . .not really dogmatic, but they think because they've bought the arguments everybody else should. Like Christians think u must believe in christ, and Muslims will tell u Allah is all that matters etc. So stop looking so hard for holes in the arguments. . .there are enough to fill up our entire universe. Just respect what they believe and let them tell u what it is. Because despite all the ridiculous stuff, religion still has some depth, wisdom, insight, and orisirisi good tins. SO try to get over the petty stuff. They believe in God, U don't. . . it doesn't mean they're dumb or crazy. They're obviously getting sumn out of it.

"Ade will take some stopping" - Hughes

Mark Hughes has warned his old rival Arsene Wenger there is little he can do to prevent former Arsenal striker Emmanuel Adebayor influencing the outcome of tomorrow's key clash.

The Togolese hit man has scored in all three of City's Premier League games so far and is relishing the chance to shine in the Blues' first tilt this season at a "top four" club.

Emirates manager Wenger has admitted that his old boy is on fire, and City boss Hughes - an avowed aficionado of his adversary's style - expects Adeybayor to ignite the game.

He said: "Whatever you do as an opposition manager, it's very difficult when you have a player such as Manu who is on top of his form. It's very difficult to stop him having an impact or being effective for 90 minutes of a Premier League game.

"He has a huge physical presence and and a huge amount of technical ability - bring all that together with a guy that's full of confidence as well and that's a difficult package for opposing teams to deal with."

Adebayor left Arsenal after an out-of-sorts season with his temperament being questioned, and he expects some stick from Arsenal fans in a sold-out City of Manchester Stadium.

Hughes added: "Things have been said about his demeanour at Arsenal in the last year. I have to say I've not seen anything of that since he's been here.

"He comes into training every day and wants to work, wants to get better. He enjoys the company of his team-mates. He's playing with a huge smile on his face - and scoring goals."

Robinho could yet be ruled out alongside Carlos Tevez. Hughes has ordered a re-scan on the Brazil star's ankle injury. He said: "We're going to make sure there is nothing significant there like a stress fracture. Then we can make decision on his involvement."

AAARRRRRGGGHHH!!!

Chrisbenogor, noone is goin to change our minds on anything relating to the existence of God, just like we are unlikely to convince most believers God does not exist. Make we hear the argument finish nah, biko   huh

mantraa:
The best argument intelligent design can make is that life is too complex to be fully explained as the result of natural processes and therefore life must be the work of a super-intelligent being. That super-intelligent being could be anything though. The vast majority of people who embrace intelligent design, however, do so to justify their belief in a god. More specifically, their god.

Proponents of intelligent design have jumped to the conclusion that since science cannot explain everything about the origin of the universe and life, god did it.
All this does is point out the obvious and then jump to an unjustified conclusion. Of course we haven't figured out all there is to know about our existence. No scientist denies that. But the world's scientists are nowhere near ready to declare that all remaining mysteries in cosmology, biology etc. etc . can only be explained by gods and magic. They are too busy making new discoveries to increase our understanding of our universe and life to even consider giving up.

Intelligent design believers want to end the hunt for answers prematurely because they imagine that they already have the answer - their god.
can we please try to hear each other out instead of tryin to ridicule each other all the time? Everything u typed there hs been said on this thread and others over and over again. Where did that ever get us? Even if we disagree we can at least hear each other out. . .what u think?

I have some issues with it but i doubt we'll resolve them on NL. i just want to know the rest of it. No argument is full proof. it's just good to try to be exposed to as many as possible IMO
