You've not seen anything yet. Enjoy the change while it lasts. Trouble dey sleep, yanga go wake am |
Some idiots are blaming the Nigerian army for what happened. I wish one of you could experience the hardship they subject people to all in the name of procession coupled with the threats they gave the Nigerian army both last year and this year. I encourage you to watch the video of what transpired on Saturday or try find out from those who reside in Zaria especially those that witnessed the incident. I'm sure sure you will marvel at the guts those people displayed despite plea from the Nigeria army. I've seen them in one of their processions where they wielded dangerous weapons as if they were going for war. The reason they gave was that such weapons were meant for protection. Protection from who or what? I don't know. One thing I know is that their leader has infringed on the rights of others and should be made to face the law. Nobody is above the law. People know what they face in the hands of the shiites but for fear of religious crises, everybody keep quiet. Even the security agencies are helpless. |
The only solution is for these people to stop road blocks during their processions. The thing is worrisom and disturbing. Those who have not run into them will not understand what we pass through any time they hold their processions. What pisses most was even last year's incident where they protested the killing of their members in Palestine. How will people be protesting with weapons? Those who dont know may not believe this. They said they are armless but my question is, what is the definition of armless? Is it only when you are not with guns that you armless? |
So you people didn't forsee this when you voted bubu, the bigot as your president. We warned you but you won't listen. You connived with others to vote him and now you are complaining. It is too late. You just have to live with what you have created! |
Very true. I can attest to this. The idiot was even trying to disarm the mobile policeman attached to Diamond bank PLC beside UBN forcing the two banks to close indefinitely for fear of attacks. |
Afroconnect:You have displayed your stupidity and shallow minded personality. Learn to respect people's opinions. No matter their action, rules of engagement should have been followed by the Nigerian army. Besides I never justified the action of the shiites but they have the right just like you to practise whatever religion and in which ever way they deem fit to worship their God without infringing on the rights of others. Everyone has a right to worship. Get this into your dull head! |
But could it be that the army couldn't have applied the said minimum force without the lost of lives? I will agree with the Nigerian army on the issue of those shiite members using weapons having witnessed last year's incident where the shiites displayed clubs and matchets, but there should have been a better way of dealing with them without losing lives. Does Nigeria army use canisters and rubber bullets? I think these should have been used instead of live bullets. Those killed should have been tactically arrested and made to face the law. One thing I don't understand still is the way these people block roads any time they hold their procession. Their leader should as a matter of urgency put an end to such processions that infringe on the right of others. They have the rights to hold processions, however in doing so, the rights of others should not be violated. |
I was a witness to last year's incident. These people claim they were armless and stuffs like that, but last year I vividly saw many of them with matchets, clubs and other weapons which were freely wielded while others were concealed. They also chanted war songs calling the government and Nigerian army names. We had to run for cover on sighting these people in their all black attires around PZ area. The way these people always barricade the high ways any time they hold their procession baffles me. They cause alot of traffic gridlocks for hours without considering other road users. They should put an end to all those gatherings and movements that infringe on the rights of other road users to avoid any further ugly incidence. |
These people again! |
Some men are sick! |
Pride, laziness and dirty lifestyles are my turn off. Appearance doesn' t really count. |
Who cares. |
Fanirandele:What was he not aspiring for the post of deputy governor before Audu's demise? Is it not the same deputy governorship post that he is to act now, so tell me the difference, besides was the election won and lost before the death of Audu? No! Was he validly norminated to run for the post of governorship in both the main and supplementary election? No! Whose name was submitted to INEC by APC?Did he win the primary and his name substituted with another candidate? No.So your argurement is baseless. |
Hernandez88:I wish he could reason this way, instead he continues to chase shadows. Let's see how it will end. People are just too naive concerning this Kogi election issue. He may end up losing both the Deputy governor and the governorship posts, and that will be 2 - 0 |
It is not sinful if you do it with your wife. I think christians should take their time to read and understand the bible very well before jumping into conclusion. |
Now I know Igalas and Okun may not be happy with this, so be it anyway. After years of patiently waiting, God did it in a miraculous way.Let bad bellies go and die. As for those who think Yahaya Bello will lose in court, you will be seriously disappointed for you know nothing in our electoral acts. Somebody who hasn't won an election and who didn't participate in the party's primary can not replace the other in case of death of the chosen candidate. After many years of underdevelopment in Kogi State, no thanks to all the governors from the East(Igala), who have held on to power, we can now breathe fresh air. Kogi State is for all of us, not for a particular region. I want to use this scenerio to pray to you all that whatever belongs to you,no matter how it is delayed, will be granted to you before the year ends, amen. |
Islam? Hmmm, I reserve my comment. |
Alot of lessons to be learnt by our politicians. Death is inevitable. Do good to your people, be answerable to them at all time and your days will be long on earth. If this story is true, he might have died of cardiac arrest. |
And some nairalanders are already jubilating that, that thief called Audu has won. Nigeria is indeed a funny country. This is somebody with heavy corrupt allegations hanging on his head.He nearly destroyed Kogi state during his tenure.Pensioners were called dead woods and were badly treated. Workers had difficult times during his tenure, yet these people still voted the man.Wada is not a saint either as he is one of the worst performing governors in Nigeria. No meaningful development.Workers are owned several months of arears, no wonder he performed badly in the election . However, choosing between Audu and Wada is like choosing between the devil and deep blue sea. The people should have gone for a neutral candidate that can bring development to Kogi State. |
And the girl will be chilling somewhere now. |
History will be made comes tomorrow no shaking.Records can be broken.Up Eaglets!!! Go for gold! |
Bigot at work! |
I thought of that too.The voices of those not in support were louder than those in support.Anyway, that's Nigeria for you. |
Baba is confused. |
I pity those who keep faith in nigerian politicians.People keep fighting themselves over those thieves whether APC or PDP.They dont worth celebrating.A country led by certificateless president, corrupt senate president,EFCC is not left out will spell doom. |
Story for tje gods! |
sammyj:The likes of you are the ones taking this country back. What does it profit you praising a thief which stole money that could have been used for projects you can benefit from. |
PMB begging for thieves to be considered for the post of ministers. |
sweetboiy:A fool a 70 fooling some fools who don't see anything wrong with baba one chance has done.Saints Amaechi and Fashola I hail o! |
And some fools will come here to say that all these are for the good of our country. |
Story story story. So the condition for him to return the money he stole is by winning the election? And some fools will still go ahead and vote this thief.Btw I thought we have EFCC. OK APC politicians are immune to arrest and probe.Nigeria, very hilarious country. The likes of Audu are walking freely despite billions they stole. They ought to be in prison by now but the Nigeria factors continues to play out. |
socialmediaman:Black man's reasoning! So according to you, protests are held only after the government has spent enough time in office. What is now the aim of holding protests if it will not yield positive results within a short time or probably after the girls might have been killed or so.Rescuing the girls should be done without any further delay as it is long overdue and holding protests now to keep the government on its toes will be a nice decision but this woman and co have finished their work as soon as GEJ lost.We know their aim |
