NSF mail July 5: explanation on why address to stay is so much distance from school

I replied explaining that it is a temporary address, to allow me settle down, and since I will be getting to UK weeks before resumption, I will look for a better and closer accomodation within few weeks of arrival, that I understand the importance of staying closer to the school.

No It won't affect you after you have submitted your application i.e paid for your IHS and Visa fee. The exchange rate on the application date will be used.

They don’t do direct naira to dollar for now, buy USDT and sell to get USD into your wise account, then you’ll create a virtual USD debit card. I don’t know if you get it. If you don’t you can ask for further instructions or DM me

Tips:
For TB test, I had issues registering on their portal and making payment. If you encounter issues, just send them an email stating your passport details, where to and date you want. If you don’t get a reply within 3 working days, please go there and see the customer service showing them your email, they’ll fix you a time.



If you made a not so serious and non personal mistake when filling your visa application form, and you noticed after you have paid for ihs and visa fee, but before your biometrics, instead of canceling the application and restarting, which takes 4-6weeks to refund your money, you can write a cover letter and cross the mistake out on your application print out , then upload it as part of your documents submitted.


On getting dollars to pay for most £ or $ payment(ihs, visa fee, etc) I used a Wise account, to escape various local bank charges, stories and troubles I’ve experienced earlier , also stress of looking for Aboki to change naira, you can follow my link if you want to create one and get a bonus https://wise.com/invite/iw/ayooluwao8

I got banned for a year sometimes around June due to an information about the UKVI exchange rate, gotten from their website I innocently posted to help. Thank you @justwise for a good job to ban unsolicited or incorrect information, and thanks for reconsidering my appeal and unbanning me, my apologies once again and I’ve retraced my steps.

Please I got this email from UKVI, kindly advise on best way to respond if I decide to use another address, thanks always.

“In your visa appication form, you state you will stay in an address that is 80 miles away from your main site of study. Please respond to this email to confirm whether or not this is correct or explain why you will stay there if this is correct”

TLS center Ikeja didn’t ask to sign document checklist for those that did self assessment at the center. Hope one is safe

They also gave free UK SIM card for use in UK for someone who hasn’t collected visa yet.

I will go for biometrics on Wednesday.

Please what should I do.
Should I cancel application or stop the biometrics. This FX really disturbed me.

They charge almost 50% interest rate in 7days
Don’t pay one loan with another loan. Interest will quadruple and you won’t be able to pay off.

Please stay off these loan app, borrow from friends and family instead.


To those supporting the loan app saying they have T&C, those T&C are bs they themselves don’t abide by.

My sibling overpaid 9credit by about 27k, after we have written to them for over a month now, they haven’t refunded the money, instead they were suggesting he borrows the money again and he’ll pay back with interest, on top of his own money. I’m still looking for the contact they could be reported to.

So I planned to share my experience from Abeokuta with you guys.

Yesterday was my capture date, got there with all the required docs and went straight to the servicom desk.

I was told some docs were missing but not to worry the lady there explained what was missing.

1. There are 2 particular forms that you need to get from them and fill (note: I have heard some places would tell you to get this online if they notice you did DIY)

2. You need 2 printout of the payment page

3. You need to go with your old passport if it's renewal.

The most important stuff is, go to the center to submit your documents days ahead of your interview. This would help you from getting delayed.

Abeokuta is cool thou. Quick service and lots of folks willing to help without expecting cash from you.

Lots of passport are also available for collection, saw lots of passport yesterday.

Please I paid for passport renewal at Ibadan office wanting to go through the DIY process as my passport has expired , but I’m unable to find my old passport booklet, please what am I to do as my interview date is next week Wednesday, urgent advice please

if she is in Lagos, PH or abuja she will need her NIN to get a passprt and as such must first change her name on the nin to husband’s name.
Change of name on Nin is 500 naira.
Visit remita and make paymnt to NIMC, Print off the receipt and with ur other documents for change if name present at nimc office.

Back to the ppt matter,
If she is not in d above states, she wont need nin. She can go ahead and fill her husband’s name on ppt provided
1. She has not been issued a passport before in her father’s name
2. She has newspaper change of name
3. She has sworn affidavit of change of name
4. She has marriage certificate

Please what if she has passport in her father’s name and wants a renewal in her husband’s name, thanks
