Webmasters / Re: Zenith Bank Globalpay by krs1(m): 6:40pm On Sep 18, 2012
Try Gtbank's GTPay. Its less than 100k setup fee.

abe4kom: Thanks all for the info.
Although the cost is quite high, my client can afford it.
However, is there a cheaper (and/or better)alternative?
I know about Fidelity paygate but looking for other options.

Webmasters / New Web Portal For Nigeria-based Web Designers by krs1(m): 1:13am On Oct 25, 2008
Hello Colleagues,
I will like to present www.webmastersNG.com: a web application that runs as a job lead site. At webmastersNG.com, our aim is to reduce the time and resources spent by serious clients looking for affordable, fast and reliable IT-related services. The web app is poised to generate job leads for the average web designer, graphic designer or programmer. The web application is still undergoing rigorous testing and for the moment is not going to be fully accessible. When it is finally open, it will be restricted to invites only for serious service providers.

Below is a short text from its webpage:
WebmastersNG is an online marketplace where buyers looking for web development services can post a request for website design, website development, website search engine optimization, or ecommerce websites and recieve quotes from qualified Nigerian and Nigeria-based website design companies and freelance website designers. Buyers who use this service can save time and money and still end up with the best bargain for their web projects.

I will like to use this opportunity to invite programmers here to come and get listed before final release. Those who honour the invite will be granted limited access and in time will have the full access to use the site to further their careers. To honour the invite, follow the link http://www.webmastersng.com/register.php and get yourself or your company listed.

Thank you and God bless you as you join us.

* Kindly post your response if any on this page.

Webmasters / Re: Webmasters::: Have You Heard About This? by krs1(m): 11:06pm On Feb 10, 2008
There is this saying that for 1 lie a person tells, he/she have to tell 10 more lies to back it up.

@isp+,
if this your get rich quick scheme is so successful, why dont you desist from this unneccesary promo and counter talk and let the testimonies of your converts speak for themselves. I come across webmasters like you everyday with these kind of schemes and to tell you the truth, its OLD SKOOL stuff. All the same, best of luck to you and your converts.

@Poster
I hope you have the budget to accomodate something as complex as what you posted here. I can build it from scratch.
if you are really serious about the application, you can contact me on 08052174890. after then i can send you a proposal that will suit your budget.
I looked at your website. the design is not Search Engine friendly so it might need a total overhaul after the app is complete at little or no extra cost.
By the way, did you code your site yourself? Is it database-driven? If so, half of the work is done already.
Contact me if you are interested then we can continue from there.

Hello my pples,
I was expecting more reviews on this flash site but all the same, i have updated it a little. Kindly check it out and post your reviews here please.
Some promo tracks have been embedded on the artist's website. Please do take the time to sample one or two of them.
* after you click on the music button, you might experience a momentary delay as the audio sample loads.
http://www.rockbasemusic.com

I will like to get some constructive reviews from my colleagues here. (on the design, i mean) smiley
Webmasters / Re: Website Review: Rockbasemusic by krs1(m): 1:34pm On Nov 23, 2007
thanks nduaj on the pointers.
I guess i'll have to put a preloader for the flash movie.

@nduaj
The rollover sounds comes bundled with the Flash 8 software. On the fonts, can you suggest font types that might fit the design i have there?
Webmasters / Website Review: Rockbasemusic by krs1(m): 10:33am On Nov 22, 2007
I have just begun work on my first FULL flash site for a music artist.
http://www.rockbasemusic.com
The website is not yet complete but i decided to give fellow nairalanders a first look. So far i've just put up the basics including audio play. I will like you guys to provide some constructive review. You can also sample any of the 3 demo tracks there by clicking on the numbers at the bottom of the page. You may experience a delay, depending on your connection, before the audio sample begins to play. Please bear in mind that the website you are about to view is a work in progress.

The artist will be launching his album soon. so stay tuned.
Over to you guys.

cabali:

u did not say completely how to download the episodes does it really work??
the procedure i mentioned applies to using bearshare and is as simple as i explained it, unless you have not used bearshare b4. it should be easy using the program. you can still use any file sharing program you have.

@ justkunmi
it seems suresh is just afraid of dear life. thats why he sings like a canary at the slightest whim. No blame am sha, im no get power
TV/Movies / Re: Heroes: TV Series by krs1(m): 1:26am On Nov 07, 2007
So much post already since i was last here.  cheesy hmmmmmmm

ok a little update. for does who dont like officer parkman. do you still think matt parkman's abilities aint cool? then watch episode 07. i dont want to spoil the fun either.
someone said episode 06 was boring. i think so too; not much action there.
maybe Kensei from the past may turn out to be a villian instead of a hero afterall. So watch out for Kensei in the present day.

if you wanna download the episodes without hassles, install bearshare (file sharing program), then search using the keywords "heroes - season 2"
go here to get recaps on the latest episode: http://www.nbc.com/Heroes/episodes/season2/207/

anybody got any question on any of the characters and their abilities? but dont ask about Maya's cos nobody really knows for sure what she is capable of
TV/Movies / Re: Heroes: TV Series by krs1(m): 11:19am On Nov 04, 2007
thks vieira for that bit of info. i've cancelled the download.
oh well, just have to wait till wednesday for that ep 07
TV/Movies / Re: Heroes: TV Series by krs1(m): 2:59am On Nov 04, 2007
@vieira
thanks for the mininova link. i see ep 07 there. downloading it right now.
TV/Movies / Re: Heroes: TV Series by krs1(m): 2:54am On Nov 04, 2007
Vieira:

A lot of people are missing something about Peter.

He was found in a crate without memory and a chain around his neck.

Who removes memories? Do you not remember the necklace that the haitian wore in season 1?

i think there is a lot that happened in the 4 months gap btw end of season 1 and start of season 2. like (a)how did the haitian contact the virus (b) when did peter get the ability to shoot electricity.
TV/Movies / Re: Heroes: TV Series by krs1(m): 12:42am On Nov 04, 2007
I was glad to see this thread on here. Just finished watching the latest episode of season 2 (episode 6 - the line).
What can i say? HEROES is da bomb!. I do want to say much on the recent episodes so i dont spoil the fun for you guys.
my heroes in Heroes would be:
Hiro (the teleport) and Peter (the empath). you just have to love that guy Peter petrelli

And someone says they hate Matt Parkman. well wait till you see what Matt's father can do in ep05 and you will understand what potential the cop has if his abilities reaches full potential. He's an okay guy sha.

the series is to me what 4400 wasnt. im loving it!  smiley
Webmasters / Re: Why Did You Become A Web Designer/developer? by krs1(m): 10:42pm On Oct 29, 2007
As for me, i studied computer engineering in school and have always been facinated with the world of programming. I decided to start with html design cos it looked easy enough. Programming web pages just came naturally after that.

It was after i completed my first project and hosted it online that i realized the potentials. wink And i have been a it ever since.
