Alhamdulillah am also here to share my testimony, I had a multilocolar left and right cyst,but my scan result today shows an ordinary cyst only in the right ovary and the size has also reduced,though it showed fibroid am not worried cos I believe it will also disappear.Mamas I am going Guifie Bao how do I start.

Hi,

Subserosal fibroid is a fibroid that grows just below the uppermost layers of the womb. They usually do not affect fertility.

You need to follow up the ovarian cysts by further scans (if this is the first scan showing it) and hormone assay.

thanks Dr may God bless you,actually this is not the first scan showing the cyst,in fact the last one showed a multilocular cyst with septation and the size has also reduced compare to the previous. Thanks once again

the uterus is bulky,there is a well circumscribed heterogeneous predominantly hypo-echoic mass with a brocid based attached to the anterior myometrium,measuring 6.3x5.3cm in dimension. The remaining myometrium is preserved.
The right andexium harbours an ovoid cystic mass lesion measuring 4.0x3.8cm with low level echoes seen within it.The left adnexium is within normal limits.
Other pelvic organs are normal sonographically.
Conclusion Subserosal Fibroid
Right Ovarian Cyst
kindly explain the result and tell me what to do as I am TTC.

The only thing I can think of for the lump with the information you provided is 'warts'.

However! what is your biggest priority right now is the complex cysts in your ovary. Do you have a gynecologist who is following you for that. If you don't, you need to follow up with one ASAP. Have you being worked up further for the complex cysts?

If the lump is not painful, and no sign of redness or discharge around it, just watch it for possible growth. No need to do anything.

what is your age range? Have you had injury prior to the pain and lump or anything happen before you started feeling the pain? Is the lump itself painful when you push on it. Does it move around? Any redness around it? Do you have any medical problems or on any medications?

The things it could be are due to: trauma, infectious process, inflammation. Worse case scenario is tumor; and in that case, I would caution you to see a doctor for evaluation.

In the mean time, just rest, ice it, compress and elevate it.

Thanks Dr for your quick response.I am 26 yes old,no injury prior to the pain,the lump itself is not painful and it does not move around,no redness, the medical issue I have is that I have a complex cyst in my left ovary which do cause me waist pain down to my legs and thigh during menstruation,I am TTC.my husband also have a lump in one of his fingers could it be an infection.what do you suggest I do .thanks may God reward you abundantly.

@ Kudibaby. It depends on the length of your cycle. For a normal 28 days cycle,Tvs is done on CD 12-13.

@ adamudacowboy. It is well. Affliction shall not rise again. Have you previously checked her progesterone level? Most early miscarriages are caused by low progesterone. Does she have fibroid? Do a scan if you havnt to confirm.
At the end of the day,never underestimate the power of prayers. Take it to God and he would give you victory.

@exegesis let your mind be at rest and stop worrying, a cyst in one ovary will not stop you from conceiving if you ovulate regularly except for the yeast infection, am also having a complex cyst in my left ovary,what I will advice is for you to stay off food that will make the cyst grow further,like all carbohydrates, fat,sugar,red meat,milk etc,take lots of vegetables, fruits, lot of water and exercise, beans,sweet potato, whole wheat meal and white meat should be the only you take for now,and follow it with regular scan to see if its no more growing. always take alligator pepper Abd ginger every morning and stop after AF and continue after O if no bfp,apple cider and black strap molasses should also be taken along with serrapeptase and DIM plus.By the special grace of Allah the cyst will shrink and disappear.note try to stay away from those food listed as they will make the cyst to be growing and not go away in time.The use of castor oil is also advised.feel free to ask me any question as i am also on it,we shall be free from it by His grace.

Hi,

In theory, a cyst could cause irregular periods, but we do not know if it's the cyst that is responsible for your varying cycle length.

Moreso, the variations above are not so much, and could easily have been as a result of an error in calculation.

You should also note that the variation you noticed are still within the normal limits, so you should relax for now.

The advice is to watch it for another couple of cycles, and see what happens.

hello Dr,pls could I be having an irregular period,it used to be a 28days cycle,but last month it came CD 26,this month it's on CD 25,it 'll flow normal on the first and second day,but on the day 3 up till day 5 it 'll just be dark spotting,I don't if this is as a result of the cyst I have please,shed more light.

It depends on what you're looking for, for O tracking, it has to be done from cd10 upwards.
For fibroid or cysts, any day btw af and o should be fine. If you're already pg, any day is fine. So it depends on what you're doing the TVs for.
