A cover letter supplements a resume and provides additional information on your skills and qualifications for the job for which your applying.

The issue here is not comparing state, private or federal uni's. Even a person that merit his/her admission might have nothing to show for it at the end of his/her university programme, though a lot of factors might cause that.
But the main issue is nigeria education sector is a total mess. There is need for re-engineering in that sector.

Firstly, to calculate your aggregate, you have to divide ur jamb score by 8, then divide ur post jamb score by 2 and you add the both together.

For those that score 40% above I congratulate you because most of you will be given your preferred course but it all depend on your course, becos there are some courses that are very competitive and if you don't have a good score, you might be deny of the course. And that doesn't mean you shd jus sit back and relax because this is just the starting point, you have to equip yourself with necessary information regarding your course.
And equally those that score below 40 shd not lose hope, though you might not get your preferred course but you might be given another course, as 80% of those that applied will get admission.
Just like last year, I don't think the school will be working with any cutoff this year. So if you see any cutoff circulating for now, jus disregard it as it is meant for past 2 years admission.

For now the school is shut down, and all hands are on desk. Immediately the school re-opens be rest assured that the admission list will be process.

admission is certain, looking at ur score and also you are not an indigene. You might be given another course. Cos law is very competitive

Yaungdee: For those that are scared of the outcome of the pume result, my advice for u is not to panic as close to 90% of those that applied for admission shall be offered admission..do know that few students choosed state unis(oou inclusive) in this just concluded jamb, just because of one university option. Therefore, this serves as a great advantage for those that applied for admission in state unis especially OOU. So do know that no cutoff was used last year and even those that scored 25/100 were offered admission. So my inductive argument is cutoff mark may not be used this year too...@kunle keep up the good work assignments and lecture no give me chance wella to dey show face

you don't need to fear, just keep the hope alive. Is your jamb score low and What's ur course? And how will you rate urself in d exam u did. All dis question will help in deciding

yea, 2nd batch will be writing 2mao. For now, one can't say if there is gona be supplementary or not. The performance and the number of candidates will determine that. Hope u get?

ur chances are very slim. Don't lose hope yet, like I said earlier wait till the result is out first. Even if ur nt admitted for ur preferred course, you might be given another course to study

I dnt really get u, is it that u did 25 out of 50 questions and you are sure of 20 or what? If that's the case, u have an average chance of been admitted for sociology,but if those that choose the course are few, u will be admitted. Other things been equal. Just wait for d result to be release first..
