PoliticsRe: Fashola Was Not Acting For The Yoruba In The Deportation Saga- Kayode by kunlekunle: 3:39pm On Aug 11, 2013
cjrane: Some Yoruba men of integrity still exist.
That is why people should not term Fashola's illegal deportation of Nigerians inside Nigeria a yoruba thing.
Fashola is simply dumb and a tribalist to the core.
you are absolutely right, he just compensated those deported ibos.
You know what he gave them 20 naira each.
PoliticsRe: Igbo And The Governance Of Lagos by kunlekunle: 3:31pm On Aug 11, 2013
Ngwakwe: If this analysis represents the view of an average South Westerner, then there is a looming problem that required legislative attention to avert the explosion of this dangerous ticking time bomb.

No tribe will play second fiddle to the other were they can muster the majority and desire to fulfil their Nigerian dream through election.

I see war if an Igbo wins a local government election in a free and fair election in Lagos State.
its been since the colonial era,
you have what pschologists call OCD,
obsessive compulsive disoreder.
you guys are obsessed with lagos.
PoliticsRe: Yorubas Were Early Settlers In Lagos by kunlekunle: 11:07am On Aug 11, 2013
Ikengawo: Lagos was founded by the Bini if anything, THEN settled by the portugese, then settled by the portugese and sierra leonean creoles, then Yorubas, then everyone else. It was built up by the british, then the Nigerian federal government, then the nigerian private sector when Abuja came in.

the binis fought and conquerd lagos and the oba imposed his son ADO over them which gave birth to a new dynasty in lagos history.

playmode: Hello Sorry for the late reply.I am not sure if studs of this quality exist in Nigeria but even if it does not i am sure we can make our own.

I can not say for certain why the wood frames were spaced like that as those pictures were taken from the internet. That being said this is the standard spacing we use when our carpenter frames 1 to 1 the container wall. Here are other picture of container framing :

The insulation is extremely important because without it ,your container house will become an oven in Nigeria. Remember that Nigeria has a very hot climate and the container is pure steel. The container will absorb heat from the sun and cook what is inside it hence the need for insulation foam which keeps the heat and the cold from getting in side the container. The insulation foam also protects the inside from moisture buildup. Plasterboards exist in Nigeria, the Plasterboard supplier we wanted to work with is actually a nairalander. Please search on Google ,you will see a few Nigerian companies that use plasterboard to demarcate banking halls and offices.

if your arguement is cold getting inside the container, we dont have that weathering problem.

i think they should focus more on abuja where the have 80% occupation.
They are better off claiming it now than lagos.
in the next 10 years abuja would be the Dubai of Africa owned and developed solely by ibos.
